We do this via our grant giving service, which provides vital financial support to older people who are living in poverty. We also deliver services personalised to individual needs and integrated with local communities at our care homes and day centres.
About the role
This is a remote-first role open to candidates anywhere in the UK. You’ll join us in our Woking office just once a month for team collaboration days.
We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser to join our small, busy fundraising team. You will:
- proactively nurture and grow our relationships with existing supporters
- develop relationships with new trusts and foundations, taking pride in excellent donor stewardship,
- create compelling funding applications, reports and communications which demonstrate our impact
- raise restricted and unrestricted money for our grant giving service and for enhancements to our care homes and day care services, which improve the lives of the older people.

- Grants Team, Marketing and Communications Team, care homes and day care services, Estates and Facilities Team, Finance Team.
External:
- Consultants, agencies and suppliers.
Key objectives and responsibilities
- Be primarily responsible for researching and writing, prioritising, developing and submitting compelling proposals, updates and reports to trust donors.
- Maximise income by building and maintaining relationships with existing portfolio of trust donors through excellent relationship management.
- Use the database (Access Charity CRM) to maintain accurate and detailed records, manage relationships, and coordinate actions and deadlines.
- Research and identify new opportunities, and write and submit high quality, targeted proposals to secure support from new and lapsed funders.
- Prepare written reports on activities, progress and income against objectives.
- Ensure the impact of our work is clear, visible and effectively communicated in our social media, on our website and in our Impact Report.
- Liaise with internal staff to compile project information for funding applications, and build positive, professional relationships internally and externally.
- Gather case studies for use in fundraising communications, applications and reports.
- Undertake administrative duties such as thanking donors and other routine office procedures as required.
- Carry out other tasks as required by the Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Team.

Job Purpose
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting and growing Jessie May’s corporate income. You’ll nurture existing partnerships while developing and managing a robust pipeline of new prospects, in line with our wider fundraising and organisational strategy.
Your work will involve creating tailored stewardship journeys, compelling proposals, and clear impact reports that build strong, lasting relationships and deliver a sustainable income stream.
You’ll identify, build, and secure high-value partnerships across a range of opportunities from strategic partnerships and employee fundraising, to cause related marketing opportunities, events, and Gifts in Kind.
You’ll know how to create mutually beneficial partnerships that meet our corporate partners’ goals while delivering meaningful impact for the children and families we support.
Main Responsibilities
Relationship Management and Stewardship
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, building strong, strategic relationships and delivering high-level stewardship to encourage ongoing support and long-term sustainability.
- Plan, manage, and deliver corporate cultivation and stewardship events, visits, and meetings with existing supporters and new prospects, while developing a corporate partnerships calendar of activities to enhance and grow relationships
- Identify key senior contacts within each partnership and drive stakeholder engagement, leveraging internal relationships to deepen commitment across all levels of the organisation.
- Ensure all corporate relationships comply with the Fundraising Regulator and internal due diligence requirements, and that all partnership activity aligns with Jessie May’s brand and values.
- Maintain accurate records of corporate support on Donorfy, tracking engagement and financial contributions to inform future strategies and reporting.
Pipeline Development
- Research, identify and cultivate new corporate partnership opportunities through proactive and strategic pipeline management.
- Secure new multi-year corporate and charity of the year partnerships through strong prospect research, tailored proposals, and confident pitching.
- Research, evaluate and develop new corporate fundraising opportunities including strategic partnerships, Charity of the Year partnerships, commercial partnerships, payroll giving, cash or gift in-kind donations, sponsorship and pro-bono opportunities.
- Represent Jessie May at networking and events to promote our work and develop new leads.
Other Responsibilities
- As directed by the Head Fundraising and Communications, deliver regular activity and income reports, and participate in the budgeting and reforecasting of corporate income.

Terms & Conditions and Employee Benefits
Conditions, including but not limited to the following:
- Checks: The appointment is subject to satisfactory references, DBS check and a probationary period of six months.
- Salary: £33,739 - £37,241 depending on experience. Salaries are reviewed annually, at the discretion of the Trustees, where the budget allows, with any increases effective from April.
- Pension: There is a group personal pension scheme that you are entitled to participate in, subject to the rules of the scheme. You will be automatically enrolled into the scheme, however there is the option to opt out. The employer’s contribution is 5 per cent while the employee’s contribution is 4 per cent of the pensionable salary.
- Death in Service Provision (once successfully passed probation)
- Work base: Jessie May office and throughout the Jessie May service area.
- Holiday entitlement: Annual leave is 27 days pro rate, plus bank holidays. Some annual leave is pre-allocated to cover some of the time between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed. This amount increases with service.

Role Description
The Fundraising Manager plays a key role in supporting the mission and ministry of St Edmundsbury Cathedral by leading and delivering a range of fundraising activities. This includes managing relationships with Patrons and donors, organising high-profile events such as the Patrons’ Carol Service and The Grand Nave Dinner, coordinating legacy giving, and supportingmajor initiatives such as the Abbey of St Edmund, Reborn project. Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. This is a varied and forward-facing role within a small and busy team. Purpose
The Fundraising Development Officer supports the delivery of our individual giving programme, helping to nurture current supporters and attract new ones.
You will be responsible for building our regular giving support, implementing supporter journeys and co-ordinating our annual appeals. You will also work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing our major donor plans, and support with other individual giving channels, including in-memory giving and legacy giving.
The role also takes a lead on prospect research, supporting the development of our portfolio of high-value prospects. Through detailed research on prospects and donors, you will build prospect pipelines that will support income growth across the fundraising team. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will see you supporting individual fundraisers across the team nd strengthening the prospect pipelines that drive income at the highest levels. You will use a range of sources to obtain relevant information that can contribute to proposals, communications and donation strategies.
We are looking for someone who has great communication and research skills, and a collaborative approach. You will be a self-motivated, proactive and analytical individual with the ability to build, manage and develop relationships across teams.

Manage our ‘Friends of Charlie Waller’ regular giving scheme, building the supporter numbers and engagement with the charity.

Deliver exceptional supporter care to our regular supporters, recognising opportunities for deeper engagement and potential for further support.

Implement the supporter journeys for regular and one-off donors, creating communications to engage them with the cause and understand the impact.
