The English and Media Centre is a small, highly respected, educational charity supporting secondary level teachers of English and Media through their publications and classroom resources, student magazines, online and in-person continuing professional development courses, research and advocacy.
We are looking for a sales administrator with bookkeeping experience to handle the Centre’s sales order processing, invoicing and invoice chasing, update customer records, manage bank reconciliations and respond to sales-related related customer queries.
While you will be working independently much of the time, you will also be part of a small, friendly team, experienced at working closely together whether in the office or on Zoom. You will, for example, have a weekly online meeting with other members of the finance/admin team and will keep in touch throughout the day via email and Slack.
You will also contribute to the organisation and running of our in-person student and teacher conferences (6-8 per year, in London).
This is a position which would suit the following candidates: someone who is studying alongside working; a parent of young children; anyone looking for a remote-working, predominantly term-time role, within the school day and with the opportunity for flexible hours (by negotiation with the director).

Purpose of the role
The Relationship Fundraiser will develop fundraising income through nurturing relationships with individuals, companies and groups.As a staff ambassador for Day One, championing our values and behaviours and being committed to the difference that Day One makes is essential.
The role sits within our Fundraising and Communications Department and will play a big role in delivering our Fundraising Strategy and supporting campaign activities.
This challenging new role requires a positive, proactive and resilient self-starter with the ability to drive innovation, change and growth. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing outstanding stewardship to every supporter, and building long-term, productive relationships focusing on an increase in supporter numbers and income to reach or exceed budget.

Our USP is providing exceptional personalised stewardship to every supporter. Day One Trauma Support is now providing face to face services in Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Manchester. The Finance Officer – Disability Inclusive Development (DID) will deliver the day-to-day financial administration of the DID programme to ensure all financial requirements of the projects are fully met. Key duties will include:
- To develop, review and amend coordinating and implementing consortium partner contracts and budgets to enable project delivery with the guidance of the Head of Inclusive Futures
- Coordinate the process for timely and accurate donor financial submissions including core monthly financial expenditure reports, forecasts and ad hoc requests.
- Work with the Head of Finance to develop tools to improve financial analysis throughout the project, for instance Power-BI dashboards, using data linked from the programme financial database (MyCLAIMS)
- Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts for the donor.
- Deliver the day-to-day finance and administration tasks on the DID project including partner transfers, cost recovery, fund management, procurement, manage the assets register.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- An understanding of and commitment to equality of opportunity for people with disabilities

While much of our team, work, and revenue are currently concentrated in the United States, we are committed to maintaining and expanding our international presence. The next CEO must have a global outlook, be comfortable working across different cultures, and actively support CPI’s vision of remaining a diverse and internationally balanced organization. REMUNERATION
At CPI, we are committed to aligning our compensation framework with the principles of fairness, equity, and transparency. We benchmark salaries using national, country-specific data and aim to offer compensation between the 50th and 75th percentiles for all staff roles. Additionally, we maintain a 5-to-1 ratio between the most senior and junior staff, ensuring that our compensation structure remains equitable across the organization.
For the CEO role, a competitive salary will be offered in line with local benchmarking for the country where the CEO is based. As a reference, in our two largest offices, the salary range for a UK-based CEO is £170,000-200,000, and for a US-based CEO, the range is $275,000-310,000. Beyond base salary, we take a holistic approach to compensation, offering a benefits package designed to support work-life balance. This includes a generous package and leave entitlement, comprehensive health care, and flexible working arrangements. CPI’s CEO would preferably be based in the US (East Coast) or Western Europe, but we are open to discussing other locations in an exceptional circumstance. Travel will be an important part of the role, with consideration given to climate impact and effective use of time and resources. Relief International is seeking a qualified and experienced MHPSS consultant to enhance the integration of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) within the organization's health programming by conducting a rapid assessment of current capacities, developing a tailored intervention framework, and creating actionable plans and training resources. This initiative aims to strengthen the organization's ability to deliver effective, culturally appropriate integrated MHPSS services that are aligned with global standards and responsive to the specific needs of the communities served considering the fragile and conflict affected settings in which Relief International operates.
Deliverables
- Conduct a Rapid Assessment: Evaluate the current capacity for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programming within the organization and its areas of operation. This includes reviewing existing national plans, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, and programmatic approaches, as well as assessing staffing levels and capacities related to MHPSS.
- Develop an MHPSS Intervention Framework: Create a tailored MHPSS intervention framework that aligns with global standards and integrates with Relief International’s (RI) Health and Nutrition strategy, particularly within the context of primary healthcare programming. The intervention framework should consider practical approaches that are evidence based and appropriate to the contexts in which Relief International operates
- Create an Implementation Action Plan: Develop an action plan that outlines steps for effective implementation of the MHPSS intervention framework at all organizational levels.
- Design an MHPSS Capacity building Framework: Establish a training and capacity building framework for MHPSS, utilizing existing publicly available tools, resources, and were possible suggesting trainers. The framework should aim to enhance the skills of RI field teams and partners involved in MHPSS initiatives and include supportive supervision. Note that implementation of the training is not within the scope of the consultancy
- Develop an Operational Tool for MHPSS Program Design: Create an operational tool linked to the MHPSS intervention framework, which will guide RI field teams in designing safe, high-quality, and context-responsive MHPSS programs.
We are looking for someone to start the consultancy in November, the level of effort required is 60 days. This can be completed across 3 – 6 months.
About You
You will bring the following experience and skills.
- Educational Background: A master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, public health, or a related field, with a focus on mental health or psychosocial support.
- Professional Experience: substantial experience in MHPSS programming, including work in humanitarian or development contexts. Experience in integrated health programming would be beneficial.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of global MHPSS frameworks and guidelines, such as those developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) including mhGAP. Familiarity with evidence-based practices for mental health interventions is essential.
- Capacity Building Skills: Proven ability to design and facilitate training sessions for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, community workers, and beneficiaries.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Experience conducting needs assessments and program evaluations, with the ability to develop practical tools and frameworks for implementation and monitoring.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings and adapt interventions to local contexts while respecting cultural beliefs and practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Collaboration and Partnership: Experience working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to strengthen MHPSS services.
