Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Director who will bring energy, vision, and ambition to lead St Martin-in-the-Fields Trust into its next chapter. This is a role for an exceptional fundraiser: someone who can inspire generosity, build deep and lasting relationships, and turn passion for St Martin’s mission into transformative support.

You will be an accomplished high-value fundraiser with experience in engaging high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations at the highest level. Strategic yet hands-on, you’ll thrive on being out in front: opening doors, forging connections, and stewarding donors with imagination and care.

Collaboration will be central to your approach. You will work closely with colleagues at St Martin-in-the-Fields, aligning the Trust’s priorities with the church’s vision and ensuring that fundraising supports the full breadth of its mission, from heritage and music to education, ministry and social action.

You will also be a natural leader, eager to mentor and nurture talent within a small, dedicated team. Experience of capital or transformational fundraising projects will be an advantage, as the Trust prepares for an ambitious period of growth and opportunity.

The Senior Grants Manager will take a leading role in delivering The Childhood Trust’s new grant-making strategy. They will manage and evolve our existing grants programmes, while also testing new ideas, trialling different approaches and building strategic partnerships that increase the reach and impact of our work. 

This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will shape new programmes, manage the full grant cycle and oversee a small team, while working closely with charity partners, funders and colleagues across the organisation to lay the foundations for the future of TCT’s grant-making. This is a role for someone who can work independently, take ownership and make things happen.

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Directly assist the Chief Executive and the Board on all strategic and tactical financial matters

· Discharge strategic financial management and financial control to ensure the long-term financial viability of the Hospice Ltd and Hospice Trading Ltd

· As a member of Executive Team to work in partnership with the Board to execute the charity strategy

· Clear empowering leadership to ensure effective management, organisation, and delivery of objectives

· Close and effective partnership working with the Charity Treasurer

· Accountable for the effective working of the Finance and Resources committee and Capital planning group with high calibre support to committee chairs, our Treasurer and Deputy Chair of the Board respectively

Departmental & Role Specifics

 · Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk, cyber security breach and fraud

· Support the Board of Trustees in the discharge of their responsibilities for reserves

· Accountability for the three year rolling financial plan of the Charity

· Manage the cash flow of the Charity, ensuring the Charity meets its liabilities as they fall due and implement the Trust’s Savings and Investment Policy and Financial Free Reserves policy.

· Co-ordinate the Charity’s insurance requirements, liaising with insurance brokers to ensure adequate insurance cover is maintained and ensure claims are dealt with

· Accountability for performance to contract and contract review with our external ICT providers

· Overall accountability for the hard and soft facilities annual plan and health and safety compliance supported by the Head of Operations

· Support the implementation of EPOS and accurate and timely financial information on trading

· Undertake benchmarking exercises from time to time to assess value for money.

· Disaster prevention planning, review and implement the Charity Business Continuity Plan

· Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with accuracy and consistency

· Skilled in evaluating performance to contract, constructing tender processes and executing them effectively

· Ensure rapid counting, receipt and banking of donations to minimise the differences in reporting between two different systems (access dimensions and donorflex) ensuring the Joint Directors of Fundraising and Income Generation Committee have timely and accurate information

· Co-ordinate the Board’s Finance & Resources committee; agenda, meeting dates, and review of relevant financial policies and the annual audit of accounts

· Lead budget and forecasting processes, develop, maintain and update effective procedures and standards on budget, financial control and productivity.

· Advise and assist Department Heads and budget holders

LUX is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director to help lead its next chapter. This new senior role, created to strengthen internal capacity, operational resilience, and strategic delivery, will work closely with the recently appointed Director, Ali Roche, to shape and implement a vision for the organisation’s future. About the Role

The Director of Grants and Operations is a senior role within the Jack Petchey Foundation with responsibility for leading our operations, partnerships and grant-making. You will ensure that our operations are agile, efficient, effective, forward-looking and robust. In addition, you will have strategic responsibility for ensuring our grants and partnerships teams deploy over £10m pa to benefit young people and strengthen the youth sector across London and Essex.

As a member of the Executive Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our ambitious strategy, expanding our impact and investing more through JPF’s proven grants and partnerships. You will work to ensure that JPF programmes benefit more young people, particularly in areas and groups with the greatest need.

Senior Programme Manager (Part-time Contract)

The Role:

This is an exciting 15-month contract opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager with experience in participatory/community arts who is passionate about driving impactful change and fostering intergenerational connections within an evolving, inclusive organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless continuity and high-quality delivery of our respected intergenerational and care home arts programme during a period of organisational evolution.

Driven by a strong passion for co-creation, you bring significant expertise from senior project management or producer roles within the participatory/community arts sector. You excel at cultivating strong, authentic relationships with community and non-arts organisations, artists, and participants. With a proven track record in socially engaged practice and direct line management, you are adept at navigating changing environments and possess excellent communication skills that build and maintain vital connections. Your dedication to Magic Me’s mission and the transformative power of intergenerational arts is clearly evident.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

• Programme oversight & leadership: Provide oversight of the full year creative programme, ensuring high quality delivery and the effective integration of individual projects. Collaborate on the design and management of the overall programme budget and manage staff and artist capacity.

• Team leadership & mentorship: Line-manage two Project Managers, fostering a supportive environment and prioritizing their development. Provide direct mentorship to a designated Project Manager as part of Magic Me's internal succession plan for the SPM role.

• Project practice & frameworks: Take responsibility for implementing effective ways of working for the Programme Team. Oversee project evaluation and ensure evaluation practice adheres to the ACE Impact & Insight framework.

• Partnership & artist relationships: Nurture key partner and artist relationships and oversee the Project Managers' portfolios of key relationships. Identify, engage, and establish potential arts and non-arts partners and participants for the 26/27 programme.

The Director of Public Affairs will work with the CEO and Senior Management Team to raise our profile and influence policy, unlock and steward resource and build new partnerships, in order to facilitate growth in impact. They will do this by getting the most out of our high performing Public Affairs team, which covers policy, research, advocacy and communications - as well as working across teams and with the Board to ensure Impetus is well positioned externally.

Key responsibilities

Fundraising and income generation

• Work with Impetus CEO and SMT to support the delivery of the Impetus strategy and business plan and deliver the public affairs milestones to time and within budget.
• Champion and contribute to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all areas of Impetus' work, ensuring that EDI principles related to Impetus’ mission are reflected in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, communications and public positioning.
• Vision setting and strong line management of the Public Affairs team, developing their capabilities, representing the team at SMT and to the Board and ensuring it continues to make a valuable - and valued - contribution to the achievement of Impetus’s objectives, through building and implementing high quality work plans for the team and ensuring the wider Impetus team is aligned on these.
• Increase awareness, understanding and trust in Impetus among key stakeholders, through regular, thoughtful engagement with the sector and securing high profile media coverage.
• Raise awareness of the education and employment gaps faced by young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and what we can do to break down the barriers they face - through research, policy positioning and effective communications.

• Support the delivery of our fundraising strategy and the successful delivery of our events programme, in particular, our flagship Transforming Lives Dinner.
• Where appropriate, collaborate with our portfolio partners to support their public affairs work and to leverage relevant partnerships, drawing on their insights to inform Impetus’ work.
• Contribute to the successful performance of the Senior Management Team, and provide expert advice to them, as well as to Trustees, on all public affairs-related activities and in the implementation of the broader strategy, engaging with decisions and challenges across the organisation.
• Oversee the running of our Public Affairs Committee (PAC), leveraging their skills, expertise and influence for the good of Impetus.

The evaluation team works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t.

The Opportunity

The Partnerships Director role is a new opportunity working across ImpactEd Evaluation. As Partnerships Director, you will be a senior leader of the evaluation practice and a statutory director on our Practice Board. Reflecting this, you will have a key role in the success of the practice, both commercially and in terms of social impact, and help to shape and deliver the strategy for ImpactEd Evaluation as a practice within ImpactEd Group, reporting to the Managing Director.

The role will focus on partnerships and business development, ensuring that ImpactEd Evaluation is positioned well as first port of call for schools and social purpose organisations. You will lead a number of sales and marketing campaigns, develop key propositions for our partners, scan and respond to relevant tenders and work closely with a team of evaluation experts to ensure we are able to continue to bring accessible expertise to our work and partners. Stonyhurst College, the UK’s leading Catholic co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 3-18, is seeking a high value fundraising expert to design and deliver a high-performing philanthropic programme to ensure long-term sustainability.

Stonyhurst is the oldest continuously existing Jesuit school in the world – founded in 1593 in France, the College moved to its present site in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley near the market town of Clitheroe in 1794. As well as encouraging pupils to achieve their academic potential, the school works to develop well-rounded, competent future adults who can help change the world for others.

Working across the site and the wider community, the Director of Fundraising will lead on the development and delivery of a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with the College’s long-term vision and priorities, to help secure transformational giving for Stonyhurst. The role will be responsible for increasing income growth across capital, bursary, endowment and unrestricted giving, with a strong focus on major gifts and sustainable donor relationships, as well as personally managing a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects, and cultivating and stewarding six, seven and eight-figure gifts.

The role will involve some travel nationally and internationally to engage supporters and prospects, and the post-holder will be expected to act as ambassador for Stonyhurst, championing their mission and values.
