We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on the day-to-day running of the Digital Champions project and network. Digital Champions are volunteers who inspire and motivate others to get online, while encouraging and supporting them to develop their digital skills and confidence. As the project continues to evolve, there will be an increased focus on Digital Champions placed in local health care settings across the borough. Digital Champions will operate at local community venues including Community Pharmacies, Phlebotomy clinics, and at community events, with a strong focus on NHS App promotion to Bexley residents. This is an opportunity to be at the centre of an exciting, innovative partnership project, working closely with the statutory and voluntary sector partners in taking the scheme into a new phase of development. Key Duties:

• To be the first point of contact for the existing network of Digital Champions in the borough, and support organisations to recruit, onboard and manage new Digital Champions.
• To directly manage a pool of Digital Champions under BVSC and lead on recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• To organise regular online and face-to-face meetings for Digital Champions.
• To develop and implement a communications plan that raises awareness of the Digital Champions Network in Bexley and of the challenges and opportunities digital inclusion presents.
• To explore new opportunities with partners and the sector more broadly in a way that aims to expand the digital champions project and create a more digitally inclusive culture for Bexley residents.
• To organise regular events, training and information sessions for Digital Champions based on needs.
• To collect data and write reports on the project for presentation to partnership committees and health and wellbeing boards.
• To represent Bexley Digital Champions at London-wide and national forums and conferences.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to cover parental leave. 

The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. This role will ensure the high quality and consistency of performance through these aspects of operational delivery and development, working closely with businesses, internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, delivering programmes and contractual obligations across their patch. The post holder will lead on driving programme/contractual performance (both KPI’s and financial) motivating and inspiring the team.  They will also have responsibility for ensuring continued funding from key partners and securing new income; monitoring and reporting on this important activity as it contributes to BITC's vision within a set geographical area or programme/project areas.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of:

· Managing the delivery of contract and programmes to meet contractual obligations

· Working with business, schools and/or community organisations to create beneficial relationships

· Providing leadership, motivation and development for a dispersed team to achieve excellent results for businesses and beneficiaries

· Securing funding for impact programmes

This is a fixed term contract for approximately 10 months to cover parental leave. 

The location is flexible - candidates can be based at home or at their nearest BITC office.

The salary level for this role reflects the contractual location and the programme funding.  The salary range is £33,120 to 41,000 per annum (regional) and £36,225 to £44,000 London office based. 

The role is full-time - 35 hours per week.
