Location: Based in Crisis Skylight Edinburgh, Cranston House, 271 Canongate, EH8 8BQ, with regular travel to partners and supporters across Scotland, and to London for wider team meetings.

About the role

2025 was a huge year for Scotland, Crisis’ campaign to introduce new laws to prevent homelessness was a success. Scotland now has one of the most progressive homelessness systems in the world. But rising living costs, shortages of affordable homes and a lack of support are pushing more people towards poverty and homelessness. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We are now looking for a Fundraising Manager to focus on building and shaping Crisis’s high value income in Scotland in both corporate partnerships and philanthropy. With a strategic focus, you will connect high value partners and supporters our mission in ways that are ethical, person-centred and rooted in dignity and respect for people experiencing homelessness.

You will be responsible for proactively identifying, cultivating and converting a pipeline of high value prospects across corporate and philanthropy, as well as managing a portfolio of high value individuals and providing a brilliant stewardship experience. We have ambitions to significantly increase the high value income we generate in Scotland and will lead on the development of a growth strategy to help us realise these ambitions.

Working collaboratively across Crisis, you’ll champion inclusive, values-led ways of working and use insight, influence and partnership to help drive lasting impact in our work to end homelessness.

About you

We are looking for:

• A highly motivated, proactive relationship builder with a strong track record of growing regional high-value income and spotting the most promising opportunities
• An ambitious, confident, values-led fundraiser has experience leading direct (high value) income generation within Scotland
• Strong experience in identifying, cultivating and winning regional and devolved nations corporate partnerships and delivering brilliant stewardship to a portfolio of philanthropists.
• Proven ability to develop compelling regional or devolved-nations cases for support and high-value propositions
• Strategic and outcome-focused, with the credibility and drive to demonstrate the income potential of high value income in Scotland and build a plan to realise it.

We are looking for a Legacy & In Memory Fundraising Assistant to provide care and cultivation of In Memory donors, Legacy pledgers and enquirers by acting as first point of contact for these supporters and delivering ongoing one-to-one stewardship across various touchpoints including face to face, over the phone and via written correspondence.

The RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch is seeking to increase its fundraising activity in order to secure the funding neccessary to completely rebuild the York Animal Home. We are looking to bring on an experienced individual to design, launch and lead our capital campaign and raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project.

The Capital Campaign Lead will take overall responsibility for planning, leading and delivering the £5m capital appeal over the next few years. This includes developing the case for support, managing campaign phases, cultivating major donors and funders, and ensuring strong governance, reporting and stewardship throughout the campaign.

The York Animal Home was built in 1980 and no longer meets modern welfare, licensing or operational requirements. Demand for our services is rising sharply, while the complexity and scale of cases continues to grow. We are at the point where our current animal facilities do meet our needs and have been working to redevelop the site and build new modern facilities.

We have received planning permission and are in the process of finalising the designs prior to construction beginning this year.

We expect Major donors, high-net worth individuals and corporate partnerships to make up the main elements of the fundraising campaign, so are looking for individuals with a proven track record of raising large sums in these areas.

About the role

As Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead, shape and deliver an exciting portfolio of fundraising events, including virtual challenges, our annual Golf Day, and Headway’s prestigious Annual Awards. You will also steward supporters through major third‑party events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon.

BIAS is a leading local Irish charity which has supported England’s largest community in Brent for over 45 years. We deliver our support across London through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. This is an exciting new role in which you will proactively generate and grow fundraising income across all fundraising streams to enable us to continue supporting the most vulnerable members of the Irish community. You will support our fundraising strategy by contributing to digital communications and creative content across all channels, in cooperation with project delivery teams. The role will play a central part in raising awareness and growing supporter engagement through digital  campaigns, donor events, individual giving initiatives and the development of relationships with local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver BIAS’s community fundraising strategy.

• Plan, budget, coordinate and attend an annual community fundraising and events calendar with set objectives, budgets and KPIs for each activity.
• Regularly review the performance of fundraising activities/events, making  recommendations for improvement.
• Build and maintain a variety of community relationships across varying stakeholders.
• Explore and coordinate fundraising opportunities such as online donation platforms, auction platforms and text-to- donate services.
• Work with colleagues to ensure that all events are adequately supported with staff, volunteers and post-event debriefs.
• Ensure that all events and activities are compliant with the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR and internal policies.

This job description reflects the basic duties required of the Fundraising Manager. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. What we’re looking for…

• Experience of designing and delivering successful community fundraising events, campaigns and activities, preferably with a track record of at least two years.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including budget and project management.

BookTrust is the UK’s largest children’s reading charity, reaching over 1.3 million children and families across England, Wales and Northern Ireland each year and delivering evidence-informed programmes that make a measurable difference to children’s reading behaviours. Their work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to enjoy reading and all the lifelong benefits it brings. This role will lead and manage the Individual Giving team to design and deliver an innovative, supporter-centric programme with a strong focus on loyalty, and plans to expand fundraising channels including digital, community fundraising and legacies, and to develop new fundraising products and increase engagement with new and existing supporters.

The ideal candidate will be a creative and confident individual giving specialist with a track record across traditional and digital channels and covering all parts of the supporter journey from acquisition to long-term retention. Proven success growing individual giving income and a passion for public engagement will be a must, alongside the ability to work in a complex, multi-channel environment. Job Purpose:

The Marketing & Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing St Hilda’s East’s marketing strategy and will take the lead in organising fundraising events and securing funds from individual donations, and rental and room hire income.

They will lead on communications with external stakeholders through the development and implementation of SHE’s marketing plans and social media strategy. There will be a particular focus on strengthening our unique link with the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, as well as with parents and pupils of the school – to raise awareness of the impact of St. Hilda’s East and to organise joint events. The postholder will work alongside freelance fundraisers who focus on maximising grant income.

It is not essential to have experience in the non-profit sector; we would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment and are looking to bring your talents to the charity sector.

About the Role

The Senior Community and Events Fundraising Officer is responsible for managing fundraising partnerships with small and medium-sized enterprises, including developing new business opportunities and creating stewardship journeys for employee fundraising. The role also manages WaterAid’s corporate events such as WaterAid’s Dragon Boat Race, working with choir groups to fundraise as part of the Sing for Water event, and stewards the 4Water volunteer network. 

In addition, the role supports the delivery of WaterAid’s virtual fundraising products, including Walk for Water, Just Water and Swim Marathon. This includes delivering excellent supporter journeys and developing fundraising resources to effectively steward and engage these audiences.

To be successful, you’ll need:

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive fundraiser with experience in community, events and corporate fundraising. You will have:

• At least 4 years’ experience working within a community and events fundraising team, with responsibility for corporate or SME fundraising and employee engagement, events management and delivery, and fundraising product development. 
• Experience of managing budgets, analysing data, and reporting on performance.  
• Experience of working on virtual fundraising products.  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to inspire supporters and communicate the impact of their support.
