We will be launching our new programme from September 2025, initially as a pilot working with families across Wandsworth, with aims to be able to expand and continue beyond this.
As a Family Support Worker, you will deliver flexible, hands-on, and therapeutically minded support to families facing multiple and complex challenges. Key responsibilities
1. Fundraising
- To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, post, and in person.
- Support the team by recording and sending fundraising materials to those raising money for us through events and challenge event.
- Ensure communications such as letters, certificates and emails are processed in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Provide support to the events, community, partnerships, and individual giving teams and their programmes of activity.
- To develop a good understanding of fundraising activity and to maintain the processes behind registration and online giving platforms such as JustGiving, Benevity, CAF, MuchLoved etc.
- Monitoring and replenishment of office supplies.
- Help to actively promote participation in our fundraising events and activities.
- When necessary, support the communications team with marketing, social media, mailing activity.
- Other general fundraising and administration duties, as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the department including assisting in other team projects when they arise.

2. Finance
- To ensure all donations/payments are processed and recorded on the fundraising database accurately and within the appropriate time frame, and supporters are thanked in a timely manner.
- To take donations over the phone or guide donors to make their donation online.
- To process the weekly fundraising income and financial reconciliation (training will be provided).
3. Stewardship
- Provide excellent support and stewardship to our supporters, challenge event participants, individual givers, community supporters and volunteers.
- Build, manage and maintain rewarding relationships with existing and new supporters and colleagues and teams across Cherry Trees with a ‘friendly-face’ approach.
4. Information Management and other
- Using the fundraising database (Donorfy) ensure all activity and correspondence is recorded accurately, as well as supporting our team’s financial processes and data export needs (training will be provided).
- Be responsible for ensuring all records are added/maintained/updated on the fundraising database, and ensuring all contact preferences such as unsubscribes are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- To develop an in-depth knowledge of the database to be the go-to person, and identify opportunities to support your own activity and that of the team.
- Continuously aim to improve the efficiency of administration processes necessary for the smooth running of the fundraising department.
- Create/update how-to guides within your area of responsibility.
- GDPR compliance - ensure supporter data is handled in line with GDPR, maintaining accurate records, respecting communication preferences, and supporting data protection procedures.
- To undertake other reasonable activities as required by your line manager or the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

About the role:

You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and doing admin, but love being “out and about” interacting, influencing and motivating people to sign up to participate in challenge events and fundraise for us. Please note that you will need to carry, load up and set-up event materials from our office to events, often on your own. It is essential you have access to transport and must have a full, clean driving licence. We are a very small team, so you will need to have the confidence and willingness to meet with organisations and attend events on your own.

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the South East of England, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Essex.
Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

Join ClientEarth as our next Grants Manager and play a vital role in securing the resources that power our mission to protect people and planet. In this role you will lead on renewing and managing income from major trusts, foundations, and institutional funders, while building strong relationships with some of our largest and most strategic partners. Meet your Manager
You will be managed by Jamil De Dominicis. Jamil joined ClientEarth in 2019 and is based in London. As Global Head of Grants, he leads the Grants Management team and oversees ClientEarth’s grants income from trusts, foundations and other statutory and institutional funders. Prior to joining ClientEarth, Jamil worked in various policy, research and grant management roles at the international affairs think tank Chatham House and the National Foundation for Youth Music.
Main Duties
- Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements.
- Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management.
- Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation.
- Oversee, review and, as appropriate, sign–off on the work of line managed staff (including reports, proposal, and other written material for internal and external purposes).

As Philanthropy Officer, you will be an organised and proactive fundraiser, adept at multi-tasking and working across a variety of projects to successfully support senior leaders. You will be keen to learn from senior fundraisers and implement exciting new approaches for the Sutton Trust, and bring strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
The philanthropy income team is a team of two, working closely with the Director of Development to secure and steward individual donors. As Philanthropy Officer, you will support both the Head of Philanthropy and Director of Development in their work with individual donors, including undertaking prospect research, writing briefings and compelling reports, coordinating meetings and donor visits, and maintaining accurate donor records.
The role sits in the Philanthropy team of the Development Department and is managed by the Head of Philanthropy. You will work closely with colleagues across both the Development Department and the wider organisation.
Main duties
New Business
- Undertake prospect research across the spectrum of philanthropic income in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy - including identification, due diligence, qualification, and creating briefings and outreach plans
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy to identify and cultivate a prospect pool of potential donors, looking at lapsed supporters, current low-level donors, stakeholder network mapping through the Board and Trustees, as well as philanthropists with an active interest in education/social mobility
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy and other colleagues to implement, promote, and maintain a low-level online giving campaign, including transition of our online giving capabilities to the Trust's website, and automated stewardship activation
- Support the Head of Philanthropy to lead the Sutton Trust's approach to alumni fundraising - working collaboratively with the Alumni team in the Programmes directorate to develop and deliver a compelling alumni fundraising campaign
- Support the Head of Philanthropy to devise and implement a compelling legacy campaign, driving sustainable future philanthropic income

Stewardship and Cultivation
- Manage the Trust's online fundraising platforms, such as JustGiving and CAF, to enable smooth processes and a high-quality experience for donors, ensuring new and existing donors are appropriately thanked and have inclination to support in the future
- Be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid-level donors, providing excellent relationship management from cultivation to stewardship

Person Specification
Skills and experience:

Role Overview
The Athlete Learning and Development Manager will design and coordinate a comprehensive learning and development programme for emerging athletes, their parents and caregivers, and alumni. This will be delivered both in person and online.
