Responsibilities
As the Digital Communications and Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in raising the charity's profile and awareness of primary and secondary immunodeficiency, growing supporter engagement, and generating income to support our work.

We’re looking for a collaborative, highly organised Youth Engagement Project Officer, who is passionate about building opportunities for children and young people in libraries.
You’ll have great communication skills and enthusiasm for platforming young people’s voices. Every successful bid helps GamCare secure the public-sector contracts and funding needed to keep vital gambling harms support services running and to reach more people who need help. We are now seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead and strengthen our bid function at a pivotal moment, as gambling support in Great Britain moves to a new statutory commissioning model.
GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for people affected by gambling harms. We deliver the 24/7 National Gambling Helpline, treatment services, prevention programmes and targeted community support across Great Britain. With new opportunities commissioned through bodies including NHS England, OHID, Integrated Care Boards and Local Authorities, this role will help us demonstrate our impact, grow our reach and keep essential support available.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will manage the full tender process, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to submission, review and mobilisation support. Working with senior leaders, service teams, Finance, Data, Marketing and external partners, you will write and coordinate persuasive, compliant bids, develop clear win themes, and turn complex service models and evidence into compelling funder-focused narratives.
We are looking for an experienced bid or tender professional who can help GamCare compete confidently in a statutory commissioning environment, with a strong track record of writing and managing successful public-sector submissions. You will bring excellent writing and editing skills, strong project management, confidence working with internal experts and external partners, and a good understanding of public procurement. Experience of statutory tenders, NHS or Local Authority commissioning, health or social care, public-sector frameworks, social value, financial modelling or gambling harms would be helpful.

The role can be Great Britain home-based or London hybrid. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trusts and grants fundraiser to lead the Charity's trusts, grants and foundations strategy. The role aims to secure multi-year four, five and six-figure grants and build a reliable, sustainable income stream. Reporting to the Fundraising Lead, you'll develop and manage a robust pipeline end-to-end (research, cultivation, application, reporting and renewal), write compelling cases for support and tailored proposals, and work closely with service delivery and finance colleagues to shape fundable projects with clear, measurable outcomes. You'll also steward existing funders through high-quality communications and reporting, keep accurate records and insight on income trends, and act as the internal specialist point of reference on the UK grant funding landscape.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience of securing and managing substantial trust/foundation and/or statutory income, with a demonstrable track record of delivering against annual targets and building a healthy pipeline. You'll be confident working independently and proactively, able to develop strong cross-organisational relationships, and comfortable picking up the phone to develop new funder relationships. You'll also have experience working with budgets and financial targets, strong organisational skills, and a highly professional approach aligned with the Charity's values and commitment to inclusive practice.
