They are looking for a new Assistant Coach, to work alongside the Centre Manager, as part of the team at Citizen Church to deliver the Spear Programme, equipping and empowering unemployed 16–24 year olds to overcome barriers to employment and turn their lives around by moving into sustainable work or further education.

Salary: £21,500 p.a. pro rata for part-time role (£10,750) 

Hours: Part time, 2.5 days per week, between 9.30am – 5.30pm, Tuesday – Thursday (with some flexibility and occasional evening or weekend work for events such as Spear Celebrations)

Key Responsibilities

Spear Programme

• Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.

Relationship management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre

Church Community

• The Spear Coach is directly employed by Citizen Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
• Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within Citizen Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation
• Other ad hoc church responsibilities from time to time.

We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing the appeal, working collaboratively with the team to reach their significant fundraising targets across HNWIs, trusts, institutional funders and corporate partners.

About the role

As Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal, you will:

• coordinate internal working groups as well as external senior volunteers to ensure a consistent and aligned approach to fundraising and new donor engagement;
• produce effective prospect research and robust donor pipelines to secure major donations at the 6 and 7-figure level from HNWIs, corporates, trusts, foundations and institutional funders;
• ensure all donors and partners receive first-class stewardship and relationship management, working closely with in-country, programmes and communications colleagues to produce compelling proposals, reports and updates;

• develop and deliver strong engagement opportunities and leverage cultivation event and project visit opportunities;
• contribute to financial planning and reporting, and develop processes and systems for effective fundraising and stewardship.

About you

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Responsible for the recording of void premises and issuing of building keys.
• Occasionally provide assistance to the Trust’s reception/office manager for general office duties and reception cover if required.

Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of one year’s experience in a busy property department.
• A broad understanding of commercial property or demonstrable experience of transferable skills if you are from a different sector.
• Customer focused, with the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service to customers, staff and tenants.
• Good time management, attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure with changing priorities.

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.

Our Lancashire Infant Feeding Support project is commissioned by Lancashire Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.

We are seeking a capable Peer Supporter who will support parents at East Lancashire Hospital Trust and at various community settings in Lancashire and offer support in service user homes. This role will mainly be based at out in the community, with some homeworking (expenses will be reimbursed).

About the Role

You will be responsible for offering breastfeeding support for parents within East Lancashire Hospital Trust and the community.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
 

· Providing breastfeeding support to families on the wards at East Lancashire Hospital Trust, in service user homes and community settings within Lancashire.

· Support in delivering inductions for volunteer peer supporters. 

· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.  

· To attend regular supervision/support sessions. 

· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Lancashire area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.

· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.

The role is 17.5 hours per week which will be worked Monday to Wednesday 09:00 – 15:00. This will be split across East Lancashire Hospital Trust, in service user homes and at community settings across Lancashire, however there is also some home-based working required.

Key responsibilities:

To be responsible for the effective delivery of services in the communities we serve.

• Manage all aspects of operational performance of the services in line with KPI expectations.
• Accountable for the leadership, line management responsibility and operational direction of the service delivery teams.
• Take financial responsibility for the service delivery budgets through annual budget setting, monthly reviewing, and quarterly reforecasting. 
• Continually develop and review operational KPIs to ensure they drive performance and align with our strategic ambitions. ­­­
• Ensure the customer experience is measured, monitored and delivered with the expected values and behaviors across all teams.

To effectively lead, collaborate and influence to contribute to the success of Robin Cancer Trust and its people.

The Philanthropy & Trusts Lead will steer the capital campaign fundraising strategy for the Fashion Museum, Bath, and its ambitious transformation project to create a major new cultural institution with international significance in the City of Bath.

They will focus on high-net-worth individual donors, trusts and foundations, and public sector sources alongside devising a strategy to convert capital contributors to long-term revenue support post-campaign.  They will also work closely with the fundraising team to devise capital and revenue campaigns to deliver income growth for Bath and North East Somerset’s wider heritage portfolio including the internationally renowned Roman Baths and Victoria Art Gallery.

The role will manage and motivate a small fundraising team to deliver ambitious income growth targets and work collaboratively with Bath Heritage Service’s senior leadership team, trustees of the charities that support the Services, and other key stakeholders.
