Who we are looking for:

A Permanent Customer Relations and Sales Officer to work as part of a centralised sales team, which leads all Autism Know How sales, logistic and customer support enquiries.

Managing all aspects of the customer sales journey, this role will lead and deliver an effective, timely and professional customer journey and experience, maximising income potential and repeat business to ensure performance against team sales targets and to enable the society to continue to improve its offering for autistic people.

This role will work closely with colleagues across Autism Know How, Marketing, CRM and Business Development departments, and other relevant NAS teams where required. 

This role will also deliver general administration and data processing as required.

Job title - Events Fundraiser

Office Location – Wendover, Bucks.

Salary - Up to £30,000 (FTE)

Benefits – 25 days annual leave (FTE) + 8 statutory days. Workplace pension 5% employer contributions. Must be able to attend events and meetings across the UK, some of which will be outside of normal office hours. (Clean driving licence and own vehicle essential, mileage will be reimbursed).

Working Hours: 3 days a week (Hybrid, working with two days in the office each week) 

About the Role 

The Events Fundraiser will support the charity’s aim to provide all life-limited children, their families, and carers, within their hospice, emotional support through the power and pleasure of nature. The post holder will be responsible for generating income through the management of a range of fundraising events, as well as supporting individuals organising their own fundraising activities within their community and/or corporate environment. 

You will ensure efficient event management and administration as well as provide excellent supporter care. 

The Event Fundraiser will:

• Project manage a range of events, including planning, marketing, and supporter stewardship, through to event delivery and evaluation. 
• Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver and schedule events, on time, within budget, meeting fundraising goals. 
• Deliver exceptional supporter care to those who support the work of the charity. 
• Plan and deliver events, including logistics, briefing of stakeholders and volunteers, compiling risk assessments and any other tasks relevant to ensuring an excellent supporter experience. 
• Ensure the supporter database is accurate and up to date, as well as follow all relevant financial processes to ensure event income and expenditure are accurately recorded. 
• Report fortnightly to the Director of Fundraising & Communications on agreed fundraising targets and activity. 
• Be responsible for ensuring relevant community and events pages, news, and forms on the Greenfingers website are accurate and up to date. 
• Work collaboratively with the team.
• Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.
• Work in line with the Fundraising Regulator and Charity Commission guidelines, and other relevant codes of conduct.

Working as an integral part of the Fundraising & Communications Team, you will be:

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• A great people person with good public speaking and presentation skills as well as strong networking skills.

Essential:

• Experience of excellent high-quality event planning and delivery. 
• Knowledge of the principles and methods of Community and Event Fundraising. 
• Demonstrable experience of growing events, in terms of both income and participant numbers.
• Experience in providing excellent levels of supporter care and building strong relationships. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Experience in managing third-party suppliers.
• Experience working to agreed budgets and deadlines. 
• An excellent networker, excited about working for the gardening industry’s favourite national charity.
• Experience of, or willingness to learn to use the Donorfy database. 
• Willingness to travel and attend events across the UK (some overnight stays may be required). 

Desirable:

• An understanding of the principles of relationship marketing and supporter care.
• Experience in volunteer management. 

Must possess a full driving license.

Who we are

London Higher is the membership organisation for 50+ universities and higher education colleges across the capital. About the role

We seek a Head of Operations who will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of our London Higher’s operations, including human resources, governance and compliance, IT, finance, and administrative functions. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team (SMT), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our day-to-day operations and external events, while contributing to the strategic planning and growth of the organisation.

As our CEO's external focus increases, you will lead the day-to-day internal operations and business activities to ensure the smooth running of London Higher. You will act as a strong team leader, who motivates and inspires a small team, fostering and supporting the CEO to champion a positive organisational culture.

We operate a hybrid working culture. Our offices are based in London, Tavistock Square (WC1H 9HQ), and there is an expectation that you be based at least two days per week from our office.

Who are we looking for?

We seek someone experienced in a broad operational role, ideally from a similar-sized small organisation. Whilst you don’t have to be an HR professional/expert or be HR qualified, we require a proven track record in managing HR functions. Equally, you don’t have to be a qualified finance professional, but we do need someone with strong financial acumen. We need someone who can demonstrate the ability to oversee IT needs in conjunction with IT support consultants, and someone who can do board meetings and other administrative tasks, such as preparing agendas and minutes.

You will be experienced in coordinating small-scale events and managing operational logistics, such as venue booking, catering arrangements, and attendee management. You will come with flexibility and adaptability to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities faced by a small organisation, being able to roll up your sleeves, whilst also being able to think strategically and contribute to the organisation's short-term and long-term planning processes.

Ultimately you will be adept at tackling any potential issues head-on, through a solutions-focused and flexible mindset. You will be someone who listens and responds in a meaningful way, and make things happen.

We are looking for a creative, compassionate and enthusiastic leader who can help us not only reach but exceed our goals for this project and be the nurturing force to help Roots to Wellbeing develop and grow. 

Roots to Wellbeing project aims:

• Provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to receive weekly support.
• Help participants to connect with nature and socialise with others to feel happier, less anxious and less isolated.
• Support participants to access other beneficial services, where appropriate, including health, social and financial.
• Support participants to move onto outdoor work or volunteering with friends of groups where appropriate.
• Facilitate a positive journey through the service for participants to ensure as many people as possible can access the service.

The role 

The roles has four main areas of work:

1. Leadership and management:

• Lead the Roots to Wellbeing team to reach its goals. 
• Line manage and support three Mental Health Officers, each delivering Roots to Wellbeing on one site.
• Work with local communities and other team members to explore new opportunities for the project and develop solutions.
• Work with CEO and Head of Fundraising to secure funding for project development.

2. Project management: 

• Oversee the delivery and development of the project to meet key KPIs.
• Collate qualitative and quantitative data and produce impact reports for funders. 
• Support team to ensure administrative records are kept up to date, including but not limited to: maintaining accurate participant records, work programme, incident reporting, risk management, external outreach, website.
• Develop a thorough communications strategy and build on current local referral relationships to further embed the programme within the VCSE & Health sector.
• Ensure service standard and quality is consistent across sites and policies and procedures are followed. 
• Recruit and induct volunteers to support session delivery.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders within and across the organisation to deliver project goals.
• Attend networking meetings and community events to raise awareness of the project and demonstrate its impact. 

3. Session delivery at Hartcliffe Millennium Green: 

• Continually build and maintain relationships with local referral partners to achieve a consistent referral rate into the project. 
• Deliver weekly Roots to Wellbeing sessions by; planning and facilitating delivery of sessions and activities in line with 5 pathways to nature connectedness and that are accessible to all participants, organising logistics of sessions such as travel, food and equipment, acting as safeguarding lead during sessions, liaising with co-facilitator, leading peer-support style check in at the beginning of the sessions and the grounding and meditation at the end.
• Lead on all direct communication with participants at Hartcliffe Millennium Green. Support them to create personalised development plans, signposting and referrals where needed. 

4. Other: 

• Support the work of the wider charity and specifically the South Bristol team as required. 
• Representing the charity externally through media work and presentation where necessary.

Emmaus Bristol is a local charity, working to help people out of homelessness. The work we do here changes lives.

This is a new role for Emmaus Bristol. Through our five-year-planning process we identified a new staffing
structure that will allow our charity to thrive and to grow. The Head of Resources is needed so that the core organisation runs smoothly, and policies, processes and systems allow the team to do their jobs efficiently and effectively. This will be crucial as we develop new streams of work, and help more people out of homelessness or into work.

The Head of Resources therefore, will have a key role to play in making Emmaus Bristol an effective charity.

This is a senior leadership role, but as we are a small charity, all roles are somewhat hands-on. You’ll need to be as confident discussing our reserves policy with trustees, as you would be resolving a cash discrepancy with a retail team member, and just as good at strategy as you are at detail.

About the role  
As Crisis’ Media and Artist Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health. You’ll also identify, build and nurture relationships with artists and influencers to secure their support for Crisis and our work, whether that be political campaigning, fundraising or our commercial and retail offering. 

Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. You’ll help create hard-hitting news stories and media hooks that engages our audiences and raises awareness of Crisis’ work. You’ll also work with our Artist Liaison Manager to utilise our high-profile supporters and ambassadors to inspire and raise awareness of our cause with key audiences and develop creative and engaging ways to amplify our media campaigns on social media. You will also help make the most of reactive opportunities that come through to our press office and help build strong relationships with key journalists.   

Location: Based in London office (Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy with a minimum of two days a week working in the office)

About you  
To be successful in this role you will have:  

• Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist.    

• Experience of generating engaging and impactful media and talent plans that secure stand out coverage across news, consumer, online and regional media.   

• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write for a range of audiences and outlets including news, consumer, and trade.  

• Experience of working with high profile people (including influencers) and management teams.    

• Experience of working with and interviewing case studies, identifying and preparing stories for the media and empowering people to share their experience.  

• Good knowledge of the UK media, celebrity, and influencer landscape

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.
