We are recruiting a Fundraising and Engagement Assistant apprentice to provide outstanding data management, supporter care and assist the Challenge Events Fundraising Officer and wider fundraising team to support our income generation.
What you will do:
Support the Fundraising team to uphold a high level of supporter care with a view to retention and increased engagement.
Efficiently and accurately process and reconcile all incoming donation information, received daily, weekly and monthly from multiple digital sources, onto our database and acknowledge these within agreed timescales.
Analyse all online income including but not exclusively from Just Giving, Enthuse, PayPal Giving Fund and Facebook along with all other income.
Ensure that all third party received income is recorded on Raisers Edge and produce accurate reports for internal stakeholders.
Be the first point of contact for challenge event supporters and manage and respond to queries.
Record and update non-financial supporter information such as, communication preferences, research information and other personal information in line with our Data Protection policy.
Distribute all parcels in a timely manner, making sure everything is recorded accurately.
To be successful in this role you will have:
English and Maths GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
Previous experience providing dedicated administration support.
Experience of handling sensitive information appropriately
Experience of working effectively within a team environment and assisting colleagues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports.

The apprenticeship programme is due to start in September 2024, provided by the Juice Academy - an industry-led apprenticeship provider. They are partnered with Jane Montague Consultancy to deliver the 13-15 month Fundraiser Level 3 programme. Apprentices work on the job within a charity whilst receiving 20% off the job training from current industry experts. The training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning (two optional in-person days) in Manchester, and virtual half-day classrooms via Zoom. Apprentices also receive the on-the-job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices go through an End Point Assessment and are graded a pass, merit or distinction. Apprentices currently have a 94% distinction rate. The Juice Academy are part of the Apprentify Group, and development coaches support apprentices throughout the programme.

Key Tasks

- Developing our use of Sharepoint as an internal communications channel, and maintaining the Charity’s presence on the King’s staff intranet.
- Helping the Communications Officer keep our website fresh and engaging, identifying key user journeys and supporting colleagues across the charity to use the website to achieve business goals.
- Acting as a champion for the Charity’s work by attending regular events and assist in delivering internal engagement opportunities, such as fundraising events, celebrations, and so on.

About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Patrons Manager, the Patrons Manager is responsible for cultivating a pipeline of potential Patrons, from prospecting through to making the ask. You will work to achieve significant growth of Patrons membership whilst ensuring the highest standards are met.

Key areas of responsibility:

The Development team is responsible for securing significant revenue income from a variety of public, private and commercial funding sources to support the ambitions of Southbank Centre, in close collaboration with all internal departments and external partners. Duties and key responsibilities:
Office Maintenance
- Oversee the general maintenance of the office.
- Manage office supplies by tracking office inventory and replenishing supplies including kitchen and stationery.
- Ensure the office and meeting rooms are well-maintained.
- Manage Sarcoma UK storage, ensuring it is fit for purpose.

- Organise travel and accommodation bookings across the whole charity including fundraising events.
- Organise travel, meetings and staff attendance at events including the British Sarcoma Group conference.
- Make any bookings and arrangements for the team that involve financial transactions, for example booking travel, conferences, training courses, flowers for supporters and event purchases.
- Provide meeting room management, including bookings and catering.
- Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks for other departments when requested e.g. fundraising and information send outs during busy periods or absence.
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment in the office. This
- Regular health and safety inspections of the office and workstations.
- Carry out regular DSE tests
- Arranging regular PAT tests
- Cary out fire risk assessments (training will be provided)
- First aid assistance and maintain the first aid supplies (training will be provided)

The Service Delivery Assistant will be the first point of contact a client will have with Smart Works. Therefore, we are looking for a friendly, organised and hard-working individual. Smart Works Reading is part of Smart Works Charity, with Smart Works centres across the UK. There will therefore be some travel and frequent liaison with local centres across the UK and HQ in London, to support induction and training, as well as the day-to-day role.
Duties and responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for all clients, volunteers and visitors of the centre, in person, via email and on the phone.
- Managing the central inbox, responding to clients, referral partners, volunteers, donors and potential supporters.
- Day to day coordination of the Smart Works service, including booking all client appointments, answering the phone and all related service administration.
- Maintaining an up to date and accurate client data base.
- Generating volunteer rotas and day to day volunteer communications relating to service delivery.
- Ensuring the dressing room and stockroom is organised and tidy to a high standard.
- Ensuring all operational policies and procedures including Safeguarding are maintained, communicated, and adhered to on service days.
- Supporting the team with ad hoc administration tasks.

This is a newly created administrative role to increase capacity in Londonwide LMCs, the membership organisation representing approximately 7,000 NHS General Practitioners in over 1,100 practice teams in London, providing pan-London leadership and shared committee services for its members. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Workforce-Training and Innovation team, which provides project management across the organisation and training for constituents across the 27 Londonwide Boroughs that make up Londonwide LMCs. The team
Business Energy Scotland is funded by the Scottish Government to provide free, impartial support and access to funding to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) save energy, carbon and money. The role
• You will be the first point of contact for SMEs contacting Business Energy Scotland so your work will be vital in helping them start their energy saving process. Cover Support

· During cover period, you may be required to open and close the patient spaces, as part of a wider team rota.
