To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Officer to join our small yet dynamic Fundraising team to help grow our income through Charitable Trusts and Foundations and from Statutory bodies. You will play an integral role in delivering on generating income to pursue our strategic priorities, managing high-value Trusts and Statutory relationships, joining a dynamic and ambitious organisation with exciting opportunities for fundraisers to contribute to growth and development.

In this role you will:

· Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of £50k+ prospects, working with fundraising and operational colleagues to develop high-value, strategic and multi-year opportunities.

• Prepare and submit compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations and other grant making bodies to grow income.

· Account manages key Trusts & Statutory funders, leading on the development of impact reports, and ensuring a bespoke and memorable stewardship experience by developing plans for key funders.

In this role you will:

• Support the development of Plan International UK’s disasters and emergencies portfolio, including programming that addresses disaster risk, and strengthens community resilience
• Develop and manage a significant part of Plan International UK’s humanitarian portfolio; predominantly in Francophone West & Central Africa

French fluency is a requirement for this role, due to the geographic coverage. You will also have experience of working in consortium to raise and manage major donor grants and the proven ability to develop and oversee grant funded programmes across all phases of the programme cycle. Situated in the Programmes, Policy & Impact Directorate, and reporting into the Head of UK Programmes, the Programme Lead, Carer Poverty Alleviation is a new role linked to the development of a new major programme operating in England, Scotland, and Wales. The Carer Poverty Alleviation Programme is a new Carers Trust programme under our strategic goal that no carer is pushed into poverty or is financially disadvantaged by their caring role.

The Programme Lead role is the fulcrum for this new partnership programme, will be comfortable to lead within and outside of the organisation and in developing a new team to drive the programme to success. This role will excite you if you are an established programmes specialist who is energised by achieving social impact via meaningful delivery partnerships, which in this case are local carer organisations (Carers Trust Network Partners).

The Head of Programmes, forming part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and reporting directly to the CEO, is a critical role holding overall responsibility and management of Youth Realities’ programme delivery and development. 

Youth Realities currently runs four core programmes, underpinning our three outlined priority pillars: prevention, intervention and healing.

• Deepin Relationships - healthy relationships education in communities and schools 
• Young Women's IDVA Support - specialist, long term support for young survivors of abuse and violence in their close relationships 
• Deepin Dance - a weekly dance space for young women aged 16-25 who have survived relationship violence 
• Wellbeing Activities - regular community-based wellbeing workshops, trips and creative days for young people aged 11-25

The charity currently engages over 100 young people each year in intervention and healing activities, with an additional target of 1500 young people per year to be engaged in the Deepin Relationships programme through funding awarded from May 2024 - May 2026. 

The primary role of the Head of Programmes is to oversee the delivery, development and evaluation of all programmes, which will include direct line management of all delivery staff (currently seven).

About the Role

This role supports strategy and implementation of behavioural change best practice in our country programmes with a focus on gender-transformative approaches and reaching key populations and vulnerable groups such as adolescents, people in extreme poverty, people living with disability, and those with low-literacy.

This role will provide focused technical assistance to MSI country programmes, supporting formative analysis, strategy development, coordination, capacity strengthening, mentorship, and implementation of gender-transformative and inclusive programme activities for behaviour change. It will also support donor and fundraising teams within MSI to include appropriate GESI language and best practice approaches into new proposal design.

The GESI Programming Specialist will also work with the Evidence and Impact team to document and share successes and challenges in gender and inclusion programming and support the dissemination of best practice approaches. The learnings and outcomes generated from key projects will be used to strengthen gender equality and social inclusion programming across MSI’s global partnership, significantly contributing to delivery of MSI’s 2030 strategy.

This role reports to the Head of SBC and Inclusion in the Technical Services Department, which supports gender, inclusion, and SBC programming across MSI.

Contract: Permanent, 4 days a week

Following 5 successful years (2018-2023) of running Positive Pathways in Yorkshire and Middlesbrough, Church Urban Fund have partnered with Doncaster City Complex Lives Team – an alliance of  agencies working to deliver a highly integrated approach to support people who have become locked in a cycle of homelessness, rough sleeping, addiction, offending behaviour, poor physical and mental health - to continue our work to support people that have experienced Homelessness in the local area.

In this role, you'll provide vital housing support for those exiting homelessness, ensuring they maintain their tenancies. Collaborating closely with colleagues and services, you'll offer tailored assistance to help clients secure and sustain their tenancies. Responsibilities include facilitating engagement with services, maintaining support plans, and addressing barriers to progress. You will also contribute to exit plans and engage with clients on personal growth and community integration.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can:

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, gig buddy, travel buddy scheme, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

The role holder will help to coordinate projects to increase skills, improve health, and build confidence and independence for our members with a learning disability. The role will involve project coordination of our exciting new Pioneering Good Health project and our award-winning Digital Inclusion project.  Please note that this role does not require an IT technician/specialist; a basic, every day, standard, all round understanding of using a laptop/device will suffice.
