This is an exciting time to join London’s Air Ambulance Charity. We are in the midst of the largest appeal in our history aiming to raise £15 million by Autumn 2024 to replace our two helicopters, and at the end of the year we will be launching our new 15-year strategy which will set the direction for the service until our 50th anniversary.

Who are we looking for?

You will be a determined and passionate individual who wants to make a real difference to critically injured patients in London. You will have experience in developing and delivering robust supporter engagement, acquisition and retention campaigns.

The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.

Working closely with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager, you will manage campaign activity, from briefing through to execution, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement within the programme, particularly with regards to retention and delivery of the supporter journey.

You will be responsible for multi-channel donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and cross-sell campaigns across digital channels, print, telephone and provide occasional support to our successful Face to Face programme. You will take ownership of the delivery of our supporter journey for our regular donors, cash, lottery and raffle players – with huge scope to make a big impact in this area.

The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. Although the post is based at Mansell Street, LAA offers a hybrid working arrangement.

The Meridian One Community Garden serves as a space where we focus on cultivating fruit, salad, and vegetable produce. We involve the local community by hosting weekly volunteer gardening sessions, welcoming school visits, and organising various community events.

TCV is seeking a Senior Project Officer with expertise in community engagement, event coordination, and managing community facilities. The garden, which was established one year ago, encompasses facilities such as an office, a community meeting/education room, toilets, and a spacious polytunnel.

The Senior Project Officer will oversee a range of tasks including planning and executing community events, maintaining site Health & Safety, leading volunteers in practical projects like building wooden planters, tending to garden plants, and ensuring timely completion of administrative duties such as procurement, risk assessments, social media updates, and task reporting. They will also lead activities for the under 5’s Nature Explorers group, school visits, themed evening events, and family weekends. Additionally, they'll organise corporate volunteering sessions and cover holiday shifts for the Green Gym gardening program. Previous events have included 'Pampering and Enrichment,' 'Repurpose, Recycle, Reinvent' workshops, and a Black Women in Conservation and Horticulture photo exhibition, as well as our weekend family events featuring free food, music, and arts and crafts activities.

This role involves being friendly and open to various people who visit, from the toddlers attending the Nature Explorers club, to our volunteer gardeners, to senior staff from the local authority. There are two other people working part-time at the garden, and TCV provides thorough training and support from a helpful local team.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with experience of gardening and/or nature conservation. However, what’s equally important is that the Senior Project Officer has initiative, is welcoming, and comfortable working with a wide range people. We’d therefore welcome applications from candidates who can display those personable qualities, with perhaps experience of working in a community centre setting.

In Spring 2024, TCV will be taking on the management of an additional nearby meanwhile space. The new Senior Project Officer will join us at an exciting time when we begin to turn that space into a new community tree nursery. Working with local people to gather seeds from significant trees in the surrounding area, we aim to grow saplings which will go on to be distributed for planting around London.

Working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Given the nature of the role the Senior Project Officer will need to work from the garden during these times. Occasionally, to avoid lone working in the absence of another colleague, there will be the opportunity to work from home. Weekend family events take place on Saturdays, four times a year and there are approximately six evening events which take place between April to September. This post holder would be expected to attend those evening and weekend events.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

In this position, you will play an important role in helping us to further understand the links between money, mental health problems and gambling harms and work with firms and stakeholders to develop practical solutions that lead to real change.

The full-time equivalent salary is either £41,283 at the Senior Officer level or £32,915 at the Officer level.

This role can be offered as London-based or remote (with twice-monthly travel to the London office) and either full-time (37.5 hours over 5 days) or part-time (minimum 30 hours over 4 days a week).

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and driven Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive to join our team in this integral and newly created role. The role will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, and developing and managing a pipeline of strategic corporate partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with corporate partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and nurture relationships with prospective corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR.
• Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective corporate partners.
• Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of corporate partners.
• Lead negotiations and secure funding support from corporate partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work.
• Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with corporate partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.
• Stay informed of industry trends, corporate philanthropy initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities.
• Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network within the corporate sector.
• Database management to record pipeline and enable strategic planning against established KPIs and income targets.
• Support Director of Partnerships to monitor and report income performance to PCR’s Board of Trustees.

Skills and experience:

• Experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income from prospective corporate partners, supported by detailed partnership plans.
• Experience of developing and managing at least five-figure partnerships with pharmaceutical and healthcare related companies is desirable.
• Experience of creating and organising supporter engagement events is desirable.
• Excellent and persuasive communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with corporate partners.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop creative solutions, and deliver upon corporate partnership objectives.
• Experience of preparing compelling and persuasive funding proposals, presentations and reports.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexibly according to the demands of the role, including the potential for UK and international travel and attendance at events and conferences.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing and Projects Officer to become an integral part of the Meningitis Now Communications team.

This role will play an important part in planning, executing, and managing marketing and awareness campaigns. You will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality marketing materials that ensure maximum publicity for the charity’s activities and services. Along with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing messaging and ensuring our communications are on brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead on the delivery of communications, campaigns, and marketing projects effectively and on time, working with teams across the organisation.
• Collaborate with digital and press colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns.
• To monitor and evaluate campaign performance and complete campaign evaluations.
• Monitor marketing and charity trends and stay up to date on industry best practices.
• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to manage resource within the Communications team and keep track of key milestones for a range of campaigns.
• Work closely with Senior Digital & Social Officer when considering how marketing campaigns will be presented visually through our online platforms.
• Work with the Marketing Manager and Director of Fundraising & Communications to contribute to Meningitis Now’s communication strategy.
• To line manage the Senior Designer and Content Creator.
• Increase Meningitis Now’s profile and support the delivery of the charity’s strategic aims.
• Ensure that all Data Protection requirements are upheld.
