Summary of Role:

Join Muslim Aid as the Director of Operations to steer our strategic alignment and operational excellence across global initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with senior directors, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our International Programmes, Income Generation and Marketing departments. Role Overview: 

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. Role Purpose

To provide highly efficient administrative support and be proactive within the Standards Department with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and a strong teamwork ethic.
The purpose of this role is to provide high-level general administration for the Quality and Standards team who is responsible for raising standards through the learning lab educator platform, using benchmarking resource products, to empower young people and champion future skills.

Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Administrative support to raise standards - Learning Lab:
• Support the engagement plan activities for educators to use the online learning platform and to access educational benchmarked resources.
• To aid the Digital Skills Development Manager to support the creation of editorial and marketing scripts.

2. Administrative support to empower young people - Benchmarking Resources and National Standards:
• To assist the Quality and Standards Manager to develop teaching tools for educators in colleges and training providers.

3. Support to champion future skills – Competition portfolio reviews and audit:

• Administration and co-ordination of activities in line with the project operational plan

This role is office based (as above) but with flexible hybrid working. It is expected the postholder will attend the office at least once or twice a week.

As Crisis’ Media and Artist Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health. You’ll also identify, build and nurture relationships with artists and influencers to secure their support for Crisis and our work, whether that be political campaigning, fundraising or our commercial and retail offering. 

Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. You’ll help create hard-hitting news stories and media hooks that engages our audiences and raises awareness of Crisis’ work. You’ll also work with our Artist Liaison Manager to utilise our high-profile supporters and ambassadors to inspire and raise awareness of our cause with key audiences and develop creative and engaging ways to amplify our media campaigns on social media. You will also help make the most of reactive opportunities that come through to our press office and help build strong relationships with key journalists.   

Location: Based in London office (Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy with a minimum of two days a week working in the office)

• Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist.    

• Experience of generating engaging and impactful media and talent plans that secure stand out coverage across news, consumer, online and regional media.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Development, this role is essential to driving forward the implementation of Creative United’s business development plans across multiple programme and project strands. We’re looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of database systems and who understands their importance to organisations like Al-Khair Foundation. We seek someone who is naturally process-driven and has a great eye for detail. You will be responsible for specific monthly processes, such as organisation income reconciliation and ongoing data uploads and cleansing for the Fundraising teams. You will also become a champion for Salesforce and understand the importance of CRM to help Al-Khair Foundation achieve our goals and provide a better service to our donors, supporters, and participants.

Your Role

Al-Khair Foundation uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters, and stakeholders, including recording all donations made to the organisation. Al-Khair Foundation’s Database Officer will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income and data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, update and create new supporter records on the database, process cheques and payment requests, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly.

You will also work closely with colleagues in the Database team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing, and other database-related functions that happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce.

Aside from these core duties, from time to time, you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. This may include supporting the Supporter Care Assistant during busy periods with customer care via email and telephone and recording updates, processing invoices, and maintaining and updating team rotas and trackers.

Your Responsibilities

• Delivering the monthly data reconciliation and income reconciliation processes, which include downloading and uploading data files.
• Supporting the Fundraising teams with their monthly income recording and reconciliation.
• Liaising with external agencies and the Finance team.
• Checking for and correcting inaccuracies and updating supporter records.
• Running reports for the Fundraising and Finance teams.
• Maintaining and carrying out regular database processes, including data cleansing.
• Supporting the Database Coordinator and the Senior Data Manager to encourage best-practice use of the database across the organisation, including assisting with onboarding and new user training and being on hand for day-to-day technical support when the Database Coordinator is unavailable.
• Working with external partners (i.e., telemarketing agencies) to ensure the successful and smooth transition of data onto the database.
• Spotting and reporting database glitches and problems.
• Supporting with the ticketing system as a second point of contact in the Database team.
• Contributing to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant with Al-Khair Foundation’s Child Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

Who You Are

To be successful, you will be:

• Someone who has experience using a Salesforce database to carry out day-to-day tasks and who understands their importance for organisations such as Al-Khair Foundation. Charity/NGO experience would be an advantage.

About the organisation

The Environment Investigation Agency investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime, with a focus on elephants and tigers, and forest crimes such as illegal logging and deforestation for cash crops like palm oil. The EIA work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing the threats posed by plastic pollution, bycatch and commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises. Finally, EIA reduce the impact of climate change by campaigning to eliminate powerful refrigerant greenhouse gases, exposing related illicit trade and improving energy efficiency in the cooling sector.

The Role

The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from public fundraising has increased in recent years and they are investing in this area to further increase unrestricted income so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our natural world.

It is an exciting time to join EIA, as we embark on a new organisational strategy and a new fundraising strategy. This role is crucial to our ambitious plans to step change our public fundraising and ensure the best possible experience for all of our supporters. Your work will help to ensure that our activities inspire the public to give generously to enable us to combat environmental crime and abuse around the world.

Responsibilities:

* Lead on the production of key supporter engagement pieces, the Year in Review and Supporter newsletters, including: curating the content, copywriting, data, as well as liaising with the mailing house and graphic designer.
* Plan, implement and evaluate digital and offline supporter-driven supporter journeys from all individual giving audiences, including appeals, digital, regular giving and the weekly lottery
* Work with the Senior Individual Giving Officer on the 40th anniversary supporter engagement activities
* Work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Officer, Supporter Services Officer and teams across the organisation (including the Communications and Campaign teams) to develop inspiring and targeted content and communications that increase engagement and lifetime value of supporters
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of supporter journeys
* Along with the Supporter Services Officer, be a key point of contact for supporters, ensuring that all supporters have a positive experience

New Supporter Acquisition

* Lead on all aspects of supporter acquisition through digital and telephone channels, ensuring that all campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the campaign KPIs:
* Weekly Lottery acquisition campaigns - promoting to both new and existing supporters, to acquire new lottery players and raise regular income.
* Digital lead generation and acquisition campaigns - to recruit new cash and regular givers
* Telephone fundraising campaigns - to recruit new, and reactivate lapsed, regular giving supporters using leads from a variety of online and offline sources.
* Responsible for the end-to-end management of acquisition campaigns, from briefing internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, to developing creative and monitoring results and evaluating performance

Requirements:

* Demonstrable experience in an individual giving role in the charity sector
* End-to-end experience of creating successful direct marketing campaigns
* Excellent campaign management and planning skills
* Strong written communication skills and experience of writing compelling and engaging copy
* Good understanding of digital marketing and social media

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of our Strategic Communications team. 

As the Internal Communications Officer you will work collaboratively with diverse teams across the organisation, to schedule and produce a range of inspiring, informative and engaging internal communications. 

Working with the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager, you will conceive and create compelling content for a range of channels including Sustrans intranet and a weekly newsletter. You will also help manage and run Sustrans monthly all-colleague webinars. 

This role will actively enable further development of employee engagement and will support several strategic change-related projects across the charity.

The role

As the motion design producer at Breast Cancer Now, you’ll play a key role in helping bring our work to life.

You’ll be creating high quality, engaging content about our life-changing research, campaigning, fundraising, services and health information. And you’ll be part of the multimedia team, where we produce video, photography, motion design and audio that help strengthen our brand and tell our story.

Reporting to the senior multimedia manager, you’ll be producing motion design projects that cover all aspects of the organisation. This includes producing multiple small and large-scale motion projects throughout the year to support major campaigns and projects. Experience of producing long and short-form content with an eye towards social trends is also desirable.

The role may require some work on larger video and photography projects throughout the year to support the wider team, so any skills in video production, video editing or photography would be an advantage.

About you

You’ll have a keen interest in all things motion design and have a good portfolio of work to show this. You’ll be hard-working and highly motivated, with a flexible approach to your work. And you’ll be used to working in a busy team environment and able to work on your own initiative.

Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be working with teams across the charity, supporters and people affected by breast cancer. 

You must have considerable experience using adobe creative suite, particularly after effects, illustrator, photoshop and premiere. Any knowledge of blender or other 3D software would also be welcome.

Job Summary

To take the lead in ensuring that appropriate arrangements for keeping children, young people and adults at risk of harm safe are actioned at MHI as part of a Designated Safeguarding team covering the Shout platform 24/7. The role is responsible for promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people on our platform, being a consistent and reliable presence on the Shout platform, and advising Shout Supervisors on safeguarding actions and practise while raising and recording safeguarding issues as they arise. 

Key Responsibilities

• To act as an MHI Designated Safeguarding Officer.
• Contribute to developing and reviewing MHI’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
• Alongside the DSO, contribute to ensuring that everyone working or volunteering with or for children and young people at MHI, including the board of trustees, understands the safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures and knows what to do if they have concerns about a child’s welfare
• Take a lead role in implementing MHI’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures: ensuring all safeguarding and child protection issues concerning children and young people who take part in MHI’s activities are responded to appropriately
• Take the lead on responding to information that may constitute a child protection concern, including a concern that an adult involved with MHI may present a risk to children or young people. This includes:
  • assessing and clarifying the information
  • calling in and recording all safeguarding issues as they arise.
  • supporting and responding to staff who raise internal concerns as well as supporting those who make external safeguarding referrals to police or Adult / Children's Services
  • making referrals to statutory organisations as appropriate
  • consulting with and informing the relevant members of the organisation’s management

• following the organisation’s safeguarding policy and procedures
• Immediately referring cases to the Safeguarding Panel where there is a radicalisation concern

• Liaise with, pass on information to and receive information from statutory child protection agencies such as:
  • the local authority child protection services
  • the police
  • this includes making formal referrals to agencies when necessary.
• Record and retain child protection records according to legal requirements and the organisation’s safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures.
• Work closely with the management committee/board of trustees and Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure they are kept up to date with safeguarding issues and are fully informed of any concerns about organisational safeguarding and child protection practice.
• Contribute to regular reports to MHI’s board of trustees on issues relating to safeguarding and child protection, to ensure that child protection is seen as an ongoing priority issue and that safeguarding and child protection requirements are being followed at all levels of the organisation.
• Be familiar with and work within inter-agency child protection procedures developed by child protection agencies working in partnership with MHI.
• Be familiar with issues relating to child protection and abuse, and keep up to date with new developments in this area.

• Attend team meetings, supervision sessions and management meetings as arranged.

You’ll refine our proposition and pricing of existing services, seeking opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing audiences, as well as broadening our reach, engaging with completely new audiences and developing and shaping new commercial services aligned to new customer needs. You will have strong experience at senior level in driving commercial impact for good, and everything this involves in terms of income, growth, commercial strategy and delivery, and risk management. You’ll be working closely with our Board, and reporting to the CEO and the Board on finance and risk.

• Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
• Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends. 
• Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.
