Key Responsibilities
National Growth
- Develop strategy for national growth and ensure effective delivery of strategy, with a focus on growing our work in unserved and developing regions of the UK and building a diverse range of church partners
- Engage with thinking around the intersection between social impact, employability and the church to ensure we are at the cutting edge within the sector, developing an understanding of local needs and challenges and how Resurgo can best inspire and equip partners to catalyse sustainable and impactful social change.
- Work with wider leadership team to understand and fine tune barriers to growth, including considering recruitment and operations support needed by partner churches, and funding avenues and the operation of the seed fund, which provides start-up funding to churches in the early years of launching a Spear centre.
Pipeline Development
- Identify, build, and develop relationships with potential partners through networking at Christian conferences and running our own events, identifying and introducing our work to key networks, and offering relevant coaching sessions as a means for churches to understand Resurgo’s coaching, employability and impact management.
- Introduce potential and existing partner churches to the Spear programme as a means of creating sustainable social impact in their community, particularly with young people, and provide opportunities for them to engage with the programme with a view to considering launching a centre in their own community where this is a good fit.
- Build a pipeline of potential Spear partners, and steward these relationships from the point of introduction, through to confirmation of programme launch, reporting to the Senior Leadership team against monthly KPIs and annual growth targets.
- Work closely with the Impact team and Director of External Relations to consider the ‘client’ journey of a church from point of initial interest to uptake of one of our programmes
New Centre Set-up and Implementation
- Oversee a team who project manage the launch of new Spear centres in partnership with local churches, including overseeing all
practical and operational aspects of the centre setup, recruiting new coaches, and ensuring required policies and systems
are in place.
Active Participation in the Philanthropy and wider Resurgo Mission

As our Senior Community Fundraising Operations Executive, you’ll make sure our Fundraising Managers across our Community Fundraising Team have the tools and resources to carry out fundraising and relationship management efficiently and effectively.
Working across internal BHF teams, you’ll oversee, and support projects associated with community fundraising activities and audiences. This will involve managing internal processes and relationships to deliver excellent and frictionless customer experience to community audiences.
In this role, you will contribute to achieving a national income target of £8.2M by supporting first class operational effectiveness and ensuring our mass of community relationships are managed cost effectively.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
In addition to the above, this role will involve regular travel across the UK to meet with and support our Fundraising Teams, as well as travel to our Birmingham Office approximately twice per month.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you have experience of project management experience, fundraising through community campaigns, and analysing data sets to support and drive continuous improvement.
With proven experience of relationship management systems, you bring knowledge of the community fundraising landscape, fundraising legislation, policy, and finance processes.
A skilled communicator and collaborator, you can communicate complex concepts and ideas in a compelling and succinct way and bring experience of developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
With strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, you have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing processes, guidance, and tools.

The role will manage the Donor Acquisition Fundraiser and In-Memory Fundraiser and be responsible for the overall delivery of our individual giving strategy.
As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.
Your primary focus will be on recruiting new donors, retention through a gold standard supporter journey and income growth for these vital areas of fundraising, all while leading a dedicated team. We’re looking for a Challenge Events Manager to join our Sports and Challenge Events Team managing an innovative and evolving portfolio of mass participation events, including the mighty London Marathon.
You’ll join a driven team committed to growing our challenge events portfolio and delivering standout supporter experiences, whether they’re jumping out of a plane or crossing that iconic London Marathon finish line. We are also looking for someone with website redevelopment (or project management) experience to ensure that our website is given a much-needed refresh and then maintained to support a strong, positive resident experience.

You need to be flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic, and have excellent communication and influencing skills. A great sense of humour will serve you in good stead working in our busy, fast paced office.

The role
The communications manager will play a central role in enhancing B Lab UK’s credibility by leveraging our corporate milestones, data, insights, partnerships and public affairs work to reach priority audiences. What we’re looking for:
- Someone to develop and manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations and grant makers with the capacity to give 5 and 6 figure grants to fund our work across the UK.
- Someone who can research and write compelling and creative applications for a range of projects, such as our support services in units/wards based in hospitals across the UK.
- Someone who has experience in developing and implementing effective stewardship plans to build strong and long-term high value relationships.

Fundraising Development Manager
The Bike Project (TBP) is looking for a Fundraising Development Manager. This role will focus on gaining support from both corporate partners and major donors alongside line managing the Fundraising Executive.
This is a key growth area for TBP, the post holder will have the opportunity to make the role their own leading their own income stream whilst being supported by the Head of Fundraising and CEO. The Bike Project has an entrepreneurial culture born out of our online and physical bike shop which raises considerable income on an annual basis. We are now keen to grow our trading further through developing a new bike servicing model. This role will lead the development and roll out of this service alongside developing traditional corporate partnerships and relationships with major donors.

As the Account Manager you will contribute to and effectively support our global programme partnerships work, to achieve Save the Children's strategic objectives.

About you

About the role
