As the Head of Supporter Growth at UNICEF UK, you will lead on delivering a best-in-class programme to recruit new supporters – across multiple channels and products including one-off and regular donations, eCommerce customers, subscription products, campaigning actions or supporters leaving gifts to UNICEF in their Will.
You will develop strategies to grow our income through delivery of multi-channel acquisition campaigns that engage supporters through positive experiences.

We are seeking a passionate and committed Chief Executive Officer who will help us unite the global Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) community to collectively find solutions to the challenges of the syndrome. Our vision is to create a world where people with PWS receive the services and supports they need to fulfil their potential and achieve their goals. PWS is a complex genetic disorder characterised by low muscle tone and failure to thrive at birth, and later evidence of short stature, intellectual disabilities, behavioural and psychiatric challenges and impaired satiety.
IPWSO is the international umbrella body for PWS associations around the world with 47 full paying country members and contacts in over 120 countries. We are committed to supporting people with PWS and their families whatever their needs and wherever they live.
What we do
We build communities between people with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families and the professionals who support them to share knowledge and expertise and improve outcomes for people with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families everywhere.
We want everyone with Prader-Willi syndrome to get equal access to diagnosis and treatment no matter where in the world they live. We want to ensure better, more consistent outcomes for people with the syndrome and their families.
We work to ensure research into the condition works for everyone and reflects the diverse experiences and environments of those living with the syndrome around the world today.
Main purpose and scope of role
Working closely with the President and the Board of Trustees, the CEO will provide strategic vision and leadership and will strive to ensure that IPWSO delivers its charitable purposes and remains successful and sustainable.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
Leadership
· Strive to ensure that the charitable purposes of IPWSO are followed and that it delivers the public benefit set out in its governing document.
· Take overall responsibility for the management and administration of IPWSO.
· Provide support and information to the Board of Trustees to enable trustees to fulfil their roles and legal responsibilities.
· Pursue close cooperation with, and accountability to, IPWSO’s members.
· Act as an ambassador for IPWSO by representing IPWSO at events and networking to build new strategic relationships.
· Keep abreast of relevant new research, treatment recommendations and service developments for people with Prader-Willi syndrome.
Governance
· Strive to ensure that IPWSO has governance systems in place that enable it to consistently fulfil its legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities.
· Maintain awareness of risks and changes in the external environment that could affect IPWSO and advise the Board of Trustees accordingly.
· Together with the President manage complaints (including from whistle-blowers) and recommend actions to the Board of Trustees
Finance and Fundraising
· Work with the Treasurer and the Finance Committee to ensure the overall financial health and sustainability of IPWSO.
· Work with the Treasurer and the Finance Committee to prepare budgets for review by the Board of Trustees and to enable IPWSO to operate within its financial means.
· Seek to ensure that appropriate financial reports are submitted to the Charity Commission and other entities as required.
· Support the work of the Fundraising Committee and strive to ensure a sustainable income from both IPWSO members and individual, corporate, philanthropic and government donors.
· Build relationships with potential donors and prepare funding proposals.
· Seek to provide high quality support to existing donors, by means including the preparation of regular reports and updates.
· Seek out and build new income streams.
Staff, Trustee and Volunteer and Committee Support
· Provide support to staff, trustees and volunteers to enable them to carry out their duties.

Essential
Proficiency in English.

Blue Ventures is a marine conservation organization that puts people first. Across a dozen countries, we’re partnering with traditional fishers and community organizations to design, scale, strengthen and sustain fisheries management and conservation at the community level. Our Technical Knowledge team oversees Blue Ventures’ technical pillars (Secure Rights, Community-Based Fisheries Management, Food Security and Financial Inclusion) and supports the use of data for decision-making, providing tools, training, and guidance to partners and Blue Ventures’ staff around the world. This team integrates expertise and deep practical experience with pragmatism and a desire to enable others to deliver lasting change, by distilling global best practices and knowledge into usable tools, appropriate training, and responsive guidance and support. The team is also responsible for delivering peer learning exchanges and knowledge-sharing events both online and face-to-face across the organisation, in addition to overseeing technical publications.
We are currently recruiting for an exceptional individual to be part of this global team, leading a critical pillar of the strategy on Community-Based Fisheries Management. This individual would oversee the development, refinement, and roll out of tools and training to support partners working with communities around the world as they establish community-based fisheries management and locally managed marine areas. These types of tools and materials include:
- Accessible tools and appropriate technologies:
Intuitive to use and readily available, including software and mobile apps for data collection and interpretation, simple decision support tools for assessment, planning, and problem resolution, and community-level materials for common activities, such as meeting facilitation guides or choice architecture to help communities decide which fish and fisheries to focus management attention on.

We are looking for a new member of our Bereavement Services team, to grow our capacity and help us reach even more people bereaved by epilepsy. The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Research and Policy Officer to work on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week; alternatively, we will consider part-time hours on a Job Share basis. The successful candidate will work and collaborate on the design, development and delivery of social research and evaluation projects that support the charity’s strategic aims and policy advocacy priorities. What you will need to succeed
You will have demonstrable and applied experience in a social research role and hold a degree in a social science or related subject that included social research methods. A compelling communicator you will be able to produce well-structured reports, and have excellent interpersonal skills, including experience of leading one-to-one and group interviews.

Purpose of post
In 2022, IMO decided to develop deep and focused youth employment programming
to address the significant need in our community. To deliver this, we are partnering
with Impetus. The new programme supports young people from South Asian
backgrounds to bolster their opportunities for sustained education, employment and
training (EET) by providing 1:1 mentoring, family engagement and practical experience.

Essential information
- Responsible to: Project Manager (in conjunction with Head of Client Services)
- Hours: 35 hours per week (full time) with flexibility for hours and working pattern
- Salary: £26,751 – £29,536 (depending on experience) per annum plus 6% pension contribution
- Holiday entitlement: 28 days + English Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
- Contract: Full time contract (subject to passing a 2-month probation period)

This role will be to support the perpetrator intervention across Wiltshire.
You will be primarily based in Wiltshire supporting the Domestic Abuse Serial Perpetrator (DASP) project, providing bespoke specialist support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The post holder will work as part of the IOM team within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure that clients who show abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change. Evening appointments are necessary for this post in Salisbury and Chippenham.
In addition, you will support the delivery of the CPR (Choosing Positive Relationships) Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP), which is an intensive behaviour change programme, designed to increase knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse, the impact on children and healthy relationships. The course teaches tools and strategies to help someone change their behaviour. The CPR group will require weekly evening work in Wiltshire.
The post-holder will be expected to work to Respect standards.
Full training will be available for this role.
Client Based Duties
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Develop personalised risk assessments and safety plans for each service user.
- Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour and show motivation for change with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse by:
- Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
- Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to individuals, including in relation to drug and alcohol, housing, health and finance.
- Working directly with all key agency partners to address the impact of the abusive behaviour on the safety of high risk victims and ensuring that their safety plans are coordinated.
- Support the client to recognise the abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
- Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MAPPA/MARAC. You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and any children, while maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the victim and any children’s safety as central to any response.
- Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times.
- Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
- Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
- Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
- Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
- Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services works in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
- Remain up-to-date and compliant with all organisational procedures policies and professional codes of conduct and uphold standards of best practice.
- Utilizs evaluation and monitoring systems to ensure high standards of service are consistently achieved e.g. Orchards Database.
- Deliver high-quality group work, working in co-operation with your co-facilitator and following a clear manual.
- Have an appropriate attention to data, providing feedback to CPR , your line manager, FearFree and commissioners.
- Work at all times to Respect standards.
- Work closely with other FearFree staff to ensure appropriate support and attention is given to the victim’s needs and those of any children involved.
- Respond proactively to safeguarding concerns, working in partnership with Children’s and Adult’s Social Care.
Working with other agencies
- Work alongside other project partners to ensure that all elements of the project are incorporated into working practices.
- Work in a multi-agency framework to support perpetrators to change their behaviour and help victims and families access relevant support.
- Participate and prepare reports
- Prepare reports for FearFree management as requested.
- Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures and all legislation connected to your work.
- Support colleagues and partner agencies, through awareness raising and institutional advocacy, in order to provide the best possible service for those who are abusive within a family setting.
General
- Work at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Lone Working Policy and Procedure.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
- Update written and computerised records with accurate and clear information.
- Contribute to effective team working with a flexible and pro-active approach, including cover for other team members’ holidays and sickness.

Responsibilities
- The post holder will deal with highly confidential information relating to vulnerable people.
