Job description

Healthier. Happier. Safer. Together.

Syncora is a leading social business within The Calico Group, delivering specialist services across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. With a turnover of over £30m and more than 500 colleagues, Syncora helps people overcome challenges and build brighter futures by providing specialist services spanning recovery, domestic abuse, care, homelessness, prevention, skills and employability.

Working alongside local authorities, NHS organisations, commissioners and community partners, our purpose is simple: to create opportunities, improve lives and help build healthier, happier and safer communities.

A key member of The Calico Group’s Executive Team, and reporting to the Chief Executive, this is an outstanding opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of health, care, support and employability services. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring services remain safe, high quality, financially sustainable and responsive to changing needs. As Executive Director, you will shape future growth, strengthen partnerships, champion safeguarding and quality, and play a pivotal role in delivering positive outcomes for customers and communities across the region.

We are seeking an inspiring, values-led executive with significant senior leadership experience gained within health, care, support or another relevant service environment. You will combine commercial acumen with a strong social purpose, bringing a track record of leading transformation, developing partnerships and delivering sustainable growth. An engaging and visible leader, you will empower colleagues, champion customer voice, promote innovation and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion and continuous improvement. Experience of governance, safeguarding, and working with regulators, Boards and senior stakeholders will be essential.

Do you have the judgement, experience and strategic thinking required to help shape the future of support, care, recovery and opportunity across our communities? If so, please click Apply for full details of the role and application details
