Database & Insights Officer (Fundraising)
About The Connection at St Martin’s
We believe that no one should have to sleep rough on London’s streets, and that everyone should get the support they need to find a place to call home. We get to know every person we work with, understanding what they need to recover, helping them build on their strengths, and supporting them to find their own way home. Help us make London a city where no one sleeps rough on our streets.
London’s diversity is its biggest asset and we strive to ensure our workforce reflects London’s diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, gender identity, gender expression, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability.
We particularly encourage applications from candidates with lived experience of homelessness who we believe are an essential asset in our sector.
We are committed to being an inclusive employer and welcome the opportunity to consider flexible working arrangements.
About the Role
The Database & Insights Officer will play a vital role in turning our data into insight and helping The Connection at St Martin’s build stronger relationships with its supporters. As a key member of the Fundraising & Communications Team, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management of our fundraising CRM (Raiser's Edge NXT), ensuring our supporter data is accurate, secure and working hard for the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications and Finance, you’ll transform data into useful reports, engaging dashboards and practical insights that help shape fundraising activity, strengthen supporter stewardship and inform our decision making. You’ll oversee data imports, income processing and database administration, while spotting opportunities to improve data quality, streamline processes and make better use of our systems.
This is a hands on, varied role for someone who enjoys getting under the bonnet of a CRM, solving problems and finding smarter ways of working. You’ll be someone who can turn a messy dataset into a clear insight, spot a process that could work better and support colleagues to get the most from our data.
If you’re curious about how data can drive fundraising impact, enjoy making systems work better and want to use your skills to support an organisation making a real difference to people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a 2 year fixed-term contract.
