We’re looking for a Community Fundraiser to join Sense on an 8-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to help grow our community fundraising income while building meaningful relationships with supporters across the UK.

About the role

As Community Fundraiser, you will play a key role in developing and growing our community fundraising activity, helping to build a strong, engaged supporter base and generate vital income to support disabled people with complex needs.

You will lead on key income streams such as “Do Your Own Fundraising” and In Memory giving, while supporting campaigns, events and regional opportunities to maximise engagement and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, steward and grow community fundraising supporters.
• Drive participation in key events and challenges.
• Deliver excellent supporter care and build lasting relationships.
• Develop engaging supporter journeys to increase retention and income.

We are looking for a resilient and dedicated person to join our team in Avon & Somerset team as an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) dealing with Adolescent and Child to Parent Violence (APV/CPV). The service provides support across the whole geography of Avon & Somerset.

This role involves making initial contact with victims of adolescent and child to parent violence and providing initial support in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The role is part-time and is hybrid working both from home and our office in Bristol (a suitable and confidential workspace at home is required).

About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.

Please note that due to the nature of the contract, an IDVA qualification is considered an essential requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess the risks and needs of APV/CPV victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
• Focus on and prioritise high risk cases and provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service. Deliver individually appropriate tailored support and information, advocacy, and practical support.
• Work with victims of APV/CPV to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe. Develop individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the risks and needs assessment.
• Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Work within the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, including the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Adult and Children's Boards.
• Providing advocacy and information to victims including exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance and support clients through the criminal justice system.
• Support the empowerment of the client.
• Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work.

About you:

You will need:

• A good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
• A good understanding of APV/CPV and/or domestic abuse including the impact of these on victims and their children.
• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children.
• Understand Safeguarding issues and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues
• Direct service delivery experience to victims of domestic abuse or APV/CPV
• Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
• Experience of managing a complex caseload, to prioritise work and deal with competing demands
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations
• Good communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals
• To hold an IDVA qualification

About The Role
We are currently recruiting a passionate and hard-working individual to help make a positive difference and provide first-class support to our Alzheimer's Society staff. Our Employee Support Assistant is part of our People Operations team and the first point of contact for Alzheimer’s Society employees requiring support with systems and processes that are part of working for the society, from joining to leaving.

We provide advice and guidance on policies and processes, making things easier and clearer for everyone as we deliver our work for people affected by dementia. 
This role ensures that we are safeguarding our employees, volunteers, those who engage with our services and the organisation through a strong emphasis on compliance. 

Duties and responsibilities:

- Process and monitor Criminal Record Checks for our employees and contractors. 
- Process employee changes, following relevant procedures. 
- Update and enter information on various systems, ensuring a high level of data quality is maintained.
- Monitor data reports and ensure compliance with key processes.
- Work collaboratively with our wider teams, including our Talent Acquisition, People Partnering, IT, and Payroll.
- Signposting employees and managers to relevant policies and information.
- Comply with data protection regulations.
- Undertake other duties or projects commensurate with the nature and grade of this post as required.

About you:

- Be able to always deliver first-class customer service, understanding that Alzheimer’s Society employees are the customers of our team. 
- Have a keen eye for detail with previous experience in an administration role.
- Be comfortable working in a collaborative team, looking to share ideas and ways to improve our processes.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office software such as Word and Excel, as well as other bespoke IT packages.

About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also you will contribute to cover for the Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for service users referred in to the service, completing comprehensive impact and risks assessments using agreed processes and a tailoring the response to each individual's needs.
• Manage a caseload of service users who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally.
• Develop support plans where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service and provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns including both child protection and vulnerable adult issues.
• Ensure that everyone is aware of their rights under the Victim's Code of Practice and the Witness Charter..
• Comply and keep up to date with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including data protection legislation, confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all outcomes and Key Performance Measures are met relevant to the local contract.

Ideally you will have:

• Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
• Experience of working in an outcomes focused service
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime
• Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Abuse processes and services
• Experience of engaging with vulnerable victims of crime who may have complex needs

About The Role
Every story matters here. Some are quiet, some joyful, some hard to tell. As a Video Production Executive at Alzheimer’s Society, you will help bring these stories to life with care, honesty and craft.
You will join a creative team that believes in storytelling as a force for understanding, challenge and change. Working with the Video Production Manager, you will help produce content across social clips, interviews and longer form films.
People come to this role from many paths, whether film or media training, freelance work, community storytelling or self-taught practice. What matters is your ability to tell stories with care, curiosity and skill, and your commitment to inclusive, respectful storytelling.
What you’ll do
You will work across the full production process, from early ideas through to final delivery, supporting both fast turnaround content and longer, story led pieces.
Much of your time will be spent working on location and handling post-production tasks. You will film interviews and documentary style shoots, set up lighting and sound, and help create a calm, respectful space where people feel able to share their stories.
In post production, you will use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to shape engaging, accessible content. You will add subtitles and apply accessibility best practice so our work can reach as many people as possible.
You will also support planning and logistics, including call sheets, scheduling and risk assessments, and contribute ideas that help shape how stories are told and delivered.
Collaboration is central. You will work closely with colleagues across teams, support sensitive interviews with care, and help share finished content across platforms such as YouTube and internal channels.
In this role, you will:

- Film high quality interviews and documentary style content in varied settings
- Record sound and set up lighting to capture professional footage
- Edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Add subtitles and support accessible content delivery
- Support planning, scheduling and risk assessments
- Work sensitively with people sharing personal stories
- Contribute creative ideas from concept to delivery
- Upload and organise content across digital platforms

About you
