Join Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity and play a vital role in ensuring our teams can support families facing the unimaginable, helping us make a real difference.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Trust and Foundations Fundraising Lead (35 hours per week) to lead and develop Rainbow Trust’s trusts and foundations fundraising programme. You will manage relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds we need to deliver and grow our support services.

Our Philanthropy team is an ambitious team with a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising £5.7m a year to fund our support services and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. We have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and you will have the opportunity to work on large applications.

• You will cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundations, including five- and six-figure grants.
• Increase Trust’s engagement and support of the charity, through reports, meetings, and phone calls.
• Through the identification and research of new prospective trust funders, you will find creative ways to engage with them to secure funding.
• You will also collaborate with internal teams to develop strong cases for support and impact measurement.

About the role

The Prospect Development Officer plays an integral role in enabling the fundraising ambitions of King’s College London, King’s Health Partners and King’s Maudsley Partnership. Reporting to the Prospect Development Manager, this post will support prospect management across all areas of high value fundraising, to ensure fundraisers are working with the best prospects and enabling them to generate income in the most effective way.

Responsibilities will include: supporting fundraisers and the Prospect Development & Business Intelligence team in maximising the use of Power BI dashboards to gain insight into portfolios and facilitate discussions on moves management; supporting the Prospect Development Managers in the effective and timely allocation and movement of high value prospects; supporting with the creation/handover of portfolios for new/departing fundraisers, and helping to keep prospect pools and portfolios up-to-date on King’s CRM system, while championing the department’s Prospect Management Policies for best practice. 

This is a great opportunity for someone in the prospect research profession who wishes to join a larger team, or someone who has transferable skills and wishes to move into Higher Education fundraising. Please note that this role is not an academic research post.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

We are now looking for a Fundraising & Partnerships Lead to play a vital role in sustaining and growing this work. About the role

Working closely with the CEO and wider team, you will develop and deliver a sustainable fundraising and partnerships approach that supports Evergreen’s long-term vision.

You will:

• Develop and implement a fundraising and partnerships strategy aligned with our mission
• Secure income through trusts and foundations, statutory sources, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising
• Research, write and manage high-quality funding applications and reports
• Build and nurture strong relationships with funders, churches, businesses and supporters
• Act as an ambassador for Evergreen across the community and at events
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to gather impact stories and data
• Track income, manage records and report progress effectively

The role

• Partner with the Principal, Trustees and Senior Leadership Team to develop and deliver a long-term financial strategy, supporting the school’s growth ambitions.  
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting across a complex and evolving organisation, ensuring strong financial control and sustainability.
• Take ownership of a significant transformation agenda, including digital system implementation (Bromcom), contract optimisation, and operational redesign.
• Support with the operational re-design of financial systems providing strategic oversight of major projects such as introduction of Bromcom for financial processes, ensuring robust due diligence, and stakeholder  management.
• Act as a key advisor to Trustees, auditors and external stakeholders including the DfE and Local Authority.
• Drive value for money through effective procurement, contract negotiation and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Lead and develop the finance function, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and forward-thinking team culture.
• Support wider organisational leadership, overseeing linked operational areas including IT and educational visits.
• Identify opportunities for income generation, funding and financial innovation to support future growth.

Essential criteria

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within a complex organisation
• Strong track record of leading financial strategy, planning and reporting
• Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and driving financial sustainability
• Demonstrable experience leading transformation projects (systems, operations or organisational change)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board and executive level
• Commercial mindset, with the ability to identify efficiencies and funding opportunities
• A collaborative and adaptable leadership style, aligned to a values-driven environment

Olly’s Future is a charity born from lived experience, working to prevent young people losing their lives to suicide. Over the past five years, we have trained more than 10,000 people in suicide prevention and built trusted partnerships across healthcare, education and communities. We are part of national conversations on how to better support young people and intervene earlier.

We are now seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase.

This is a significant leadership role, responsible for the overall direction, performance and sustainability of the charity. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Trustees and in partnership with our Founder, ensuring that Olly’s Future remains values-led, well-governed and financially resilient, while continuing to deliver high-quality, compassionate work.
