No two days will be the same. One day you might be helping a family through the referral process, the next coordinating logistics for an upcoming residential break, preparing essential documentation, analysing service data, or supporting colleagues to ensure every child receives the best possible experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating the planning and delivery of respite breaks, wellbeing programmes and outreach services
• Managing referrals, bookings and placements to ensure children receive the right support at the right time
• Building positive relationships with families, referral partners and external stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records and producing reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement
• Supporting safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance processes
• Coordinating communications, transport arrangements and programme logistics
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service and Honeypot Scotland sit

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and confident working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. You'll be a natural coordinator who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and keeping multiple projects moving forward.

You will have:

• Previous experience in an administration or coordination role, ideally within children's services, health, education, charity or community settings
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally database systems
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection principles
• A full driving licence and access to your own transport

At London Wildlife Trust, we’re working to restore wild places and reconnect people with nature. We need more people to join us, support our work and take action for nature recovery across the capital. This role sits at the heart of that ambition, with a particular focus on growing our membership. You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of our acquisition programme, working with external agencies and colleagues across the Trust to deliver effective campaigns and hit ambitious targets.

You’ll be someone who enjoys looking at the numbers as much as the creative. You’ll use data, audience insight and campaign performance to understand what’s working, spot opportunities and continually improve our approach. You’ll also have the chance to test new channels, develop propositions and explore new ways to recruit members.

Alongside acquisition, you’ll contribute to wider membership and individual giving activity, including supporter engagement, fundraising appeals and legacy marketing.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the day-to-day delivery and development of LWT’s membership acquisition programme.
• Develop our face-to-face recruitment programme, working with external agencies to monitor performance, identify opportunities, improve quality and maximise return on investment.
• Develop digital acquisition activity, working with the Digital Marketing Lead to plan campaigns, test audiences and creative, monitor performance and identify opportunities to scale.
• Explore and test new acquisition channels and approaches.
• Support the planning and delivery of cash fundraising opportunities throughout the year, and legacy marketing activity.
• Work with colleagues across the team to ensure new supporters have a strong experience from the point of acquisition to welcome, retention and development journeys.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering successful fundraising, marketing or acquisition campaigns, ideally within a charity, membership or similar organisation.
• Confidence using data, audience insight and campaign performance to evaluate activity, make recommendations and improve results.
• Experience working with external agencies or suppliers and building effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• A genuine interest in connecting people with nature and growing support for London Wildlife Trust’s work.

Working within the aims, policies, and principles of the Citizens Advice Service, the MaPS-funded Community Debt Caseworker will provide specialist debt advice and casework support to clients experiencing financial difficulty and problem debt.

The postholder will deliver holistic, person-centred advice across a range of channels including face-to-face, telephone, video conferencing, email, outreach settings, and community locations across Hertfordshire, ensuring services remain accessible, inclusive, and responsive to client needs, vulnerability, and complexity.

The role requires the delivery of high-quality debt advice in accordance with Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) quality standards, Citizens Advice membership requirements, and the Debt Advice Quality Framework.

Debt Advice and Casework

• Provide specialist casework covering the full range of debt advice and debt solutions, ensuring all advice meets MaPS and Citizens Advice quality standards.
• Manage a caseload of clients with complex debt issues, including priority and non-priority debts, insolvency options, enforcement action, and financial hardship.
• Conduct detailed client assessments, including identifying emergencies, vulnerability, safeguarding concerns, and barriers to accessing services.
• Deliver debt advice through a range of channels including face-to-face appointments, telephone, video call, email, outreach sessions, and home visits where appropriate.
• Carry out Standard Financial Statement (SFS) budgeting, debt prioritisation, affordability assessments, and referral to appropriate debt remedies.
• Prepare financial statements, debt assessments, income and expenditure calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Act on behalf of clients through negotiation with creditors, enforcement agencies, utility providers, landlords, and statutory bodies.

• Deliver holistic debt and financial capability advice, including budgeting, money management, financial resilience, and maximising income.

• Assist clients with related issues integral to their debt case, including welfare benefits, housing, energy debt, employment, and financial exclusion, making referrals where appropriate.
• Provide tailored support to clients experiencing vulnerability, mental health issues, digital exclusion, language barriers, or crisis situations.

• Undertake mandatory MaPS and Citizens Advice training, including DRO, Breathing Space, safeguarding, vulnerability, and data protection training.

The Communications and Narratives Lead will work closely with, and be line managed by, the Executive Director, who sets the strategic direction, editorial oversight and quality standards for WSC's communications.

The postholder will lead the day-to-day delivery of WSC's communications and narrative change activity, creating compelling content across digital, print and social channels, supporting media and press work, and playing a central role in delivering WSC's Communications Strategy. This includes helping to build and mobilise a worker-led movement, supporting coalition and ally relationships, and delivering campaign moments that build public and political support for decent work for all.

This is a lead role for someone who combines significant, demonstrable experience in communications with a genuine interest in organising, campaigning and movement-building. We are looking for someone with relevant professional training or development, for example in media relations, campaigning or organising, or framing and narrative approaches, who can bring self-starting, leadership to this role.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Channel Management

• Develop and deliver WSC's Communications Strategy, supporting the development of strong narrative framing for engaging with our base, allies and potential/moveble audiences at the local, regional and national levels.

• Lead the development of high-quality, values-led content across digital, print and offline channels, including the website, social media, email, newsletters, reports and campaign materials.

• Manage and maintain WSC's social media channels, including planning content calendars, growing engagement, and monitoring performance.

• Manage and update WSC's website and digital platforms, ensuring content is current, accessible and on-brand.

• Maintain brand consistency, tone of voice and worker-centred storytelling across all communications.

• Ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all communications platforms.

Media & External Relations

• Draft press releases, briefings, statements and reactive lines, acting as a media spokesperson as well as supporting others in the organisation to do so.

• Build and maintain working relationships with journalists, media outlets and sector partners to secure opportunities that foreground the experiences and analysis of workers.

• Monitor media and online coverage (e.g. maintaining a media diary and social listening on key hashtags and terms) to spot shifts in language, sentiment and identify new communications opportunities.

Narrative change and movement building

• Oversee message framings that activate our strategic narrative grounded in workers’ rights and values such as solidarity, equality, safety, collaboration and creativity.

• Work with WSC colleagues, partners, artists, and researchers to develop and disseminate compelling storytelling content, including videos, articles, social media assets and artistic displays.

• Lead on testing and refining messaging with workers, allies and the wider public, including by leading and running workshops.

• Lead delivery of campaign moments and key dates ensuring worker voices are central and framing is consistent.

• Help identify, brief and support workers and messengers to share their experiences through media, events and public forums.

• Mobilise our base, allies and potential/moveable audiences around key policy opportunities, consultations and campaign moments, including public-facing activity aimed at growing WSC's movement of active supporters.

Stakeholder Engagement & Participation

• Help organise and deliver worker and ally events (e.g. seasonal in-person events, message-testing sessions and framing workshops) that help refine WSC's messaging.

• Build and maintain relationships with allies and coalition partners, including trade unions, human rights and housing organisations, food and farming networks, professional bodies and community organisations, supporting joint statements, shared briefings and coordinated campaign activity.

• Work collaboratively with policy, casework and operations colleagues to ensure communications and movement-building activity supports organisational priorities.

• Co-produce communications and campaign outputs with workers, including by attending worker power sessions, prioritising their voices, interests, concerns and ensuring safeguarding is central.

Administration, Monitoring & Oversight

• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of WSC’s communications strategies, media coverage, and narrative change activities.

• Maintain up-to-date communications databases, including segmenting contacts on Mailchimp and other contact/CRM systems.

• Monitor, evaluate and report on communications and campaign performance, contributing to the evaluation of key moments against WSC's influencing aims.

• Ensure all communications and campaign activity complies with legal, regulatory, safeguarding, data protection (GDPR) and charity requirements.

• Manage freelancers, agencies or consultants (for example design or digital support) as directed by the Executive Director.

Fundraising and Communications Officer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive fundraiser who can build relationships, grow community support and create engaging communications that make a difference.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, committed fundraising team within a charity working to prevent homelessness and support people at risk.

Working closely with the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager, you will help deliver an ambitious fundraising and communications strategy, increasing voluntary income, raising the charity’s profile and developing lasting relationships with supporters, businesses and local communities.

It is a varied role combining community fundraising, supporter engagement, events, digital fundraising and communications.

You will ideally have at least two years’ experience within charity fundraising, with experience across one or more areas such as community fundraising, corporate partnerships, major donors, digital fundraising or social media.

You will be comfortable making the ask for support, developing fundraising ideas and creating engaging communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, alongside the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively as part of a small team.

You will need to be able to travel across the local area, and some occasional evening and weekend working will be required. A DBS check is also required.

The postholder will be responsible for identifying, writing, and submitting compelling, well-researched and tailored funding applications to relevant grant-giving bodies.

The post holder will work closely with the LDHAS management team to gather information, write bids, and track progress of submissions, ensuring LDHAS meets income targets as agreed by the Trustees.

Volunteer It Yourself (VIY), a UK-wide not-for-profit organisation linked to youth skills/employment, volunteering and construction, is looking for a passionate Fundraising Coordinator to support our income generation work and help us grow our funding.

VIY combines volunteering and DIY by challenging young people aged 14-24 to learn trade and building skills, on the job, by helping to renovate and retrofit community buildings (e.g. youth clubs, community centres, sports clubs, and arts, music and cultural venues).

Importantly, the majority of young people we work with are outside of, or at risk of being outside of employment, education or training. Young people participating in VIY are mentored by professional tradespeople and gain vocational skills accreditations as well as access to further training, work placement and apprenticeship opportunities with local providers and employers beyond the project.

VIY launched in 2011 and now operates UK‑wide with £2.6 million annual income and 25 full time employees. To date, over 1,000 youth and community buildings across the UK have been renovated, involving 18,000 young people and 1,200 trade skills mentors. As the Fundraising Coordinator you will support VIY’s new business function by keeping information organised, managing key systems, and helping with early‑stage bid writing. You’ll make sure the ream has what they need to move funding opportunities forward and help keep our processes running smoothly.

We’re seeking someone who is organised, curious and confident in their writing, with the ability to juggle different tasks and build positive relationships across the team. You don’t need previous fundraising experience — transferable skills from other roles or sectors are just as valuable.

You will play an important role in supporting VIY’s income growth and helping the team work efficiently as we expand nationally. This is a great entry point into fundraising, giving you hands‑on experience in research, bid coordination, stewardship support and Customer Relationship Manager CRM (we use Salesforce) within a fast‑moving, mission‑driven organisation.
