We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our award-winning Content and Creative team at Friends of the Earth.

You’ll be an experienced designer bursting with creative ideas and passionate about using your skills to tell compelling stories that inspire people to take action. You’ll have the ability to develop our visual brand, to lead on the production of bold, audience-centric concepts, and to work closely with videographers and copywriters to support the organisation’s ambitious campaigning, activism and fundraising goals.  

You will also line manage the Midweight Graphic Designer and oversee all graphic design output to ensure it is high quality, rooted in insight and delivered on time.

Key Skills and Attributes: 

You’ll have a strong portfolio that demonstrates high-quality, impactful design tailored to different audiences and objectives. You will be confident in developing innovative concepts that work across multiple digital and print channels, and in managing a variety of design projects.

You will also be experienced in commissioning freelancers and line-managing or providing mentorship to team members, as well as possessing top-notch stakeholder communication skills and the ability to interrogate a brief.

Operating within the Finance and Performance Directorate, as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will lead the Finance Business Partner and Senior Management Accounts team. The Head of Face-to-Face Fundraising provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the RSPB’s face-to-face fundraising programme across the UK.

This role is responsible for delivering significant annual supporter acquisition volumes, ensuring an exceptional supporter experience, maintaining sector-leading compliance and safeguarding standards, and building high-performing in-house fundraising teams.

Key Duties:

Purpose of the job

Reporting to the Grants Manager, you will create a positive impact on young people across the UK by supporting the distribution of unrestricted multi-year grant funding delivered as part of our evolving offer to unlock youth work for all young people. Key Responsibilities

• Partnership Development & New Business (40%): Lead the Partnerships team to achieve ambitious income targets by identifying and securing innovative, long-term partnerships. This includes broadcast-led sponsorships, celebrity charity challenges, community campaigns, “Charity of the Year” partnerships, retail and cause-related fundraising collaborations, and special events sponsorship. Oversee the full partnership cycle from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation and contract completion.

Recruitment and retention

Your profile 

Essential Criteria

• Significant experience in talent management, artist relations, or high-level PR/communications

• Proven track record of building and maintaining high-level relationships with celebrities, influencers, and their management teams (agents, publicists, and assistants)

• Extensive experience in talent-led PR, end-to-end media campaign management, and protecting brand integrity through strategic reputation oversight 

• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities

• Ability to develop and realise long-term talent and recruitment strategies that align with wider organisational goals 

• Highly professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and influencing ability
