This person will be responsible for developing exceptional services to help people seeking sanctuary navigate the systems they are forced to exist in and delivering these in solidarity with those seeking sanctuary.These System Navigation Services - The Sanctuary, The Drop-In, The Sheffield Project for Refugee Integration and Growth (SPRING), and our Volunteering Team - are exciting, joyful, and powerful city-wide services that are developed alongside the community of people seeking sanctuary. They are both impressive in their current form and have so much potential for the right candidate to build and develop them further.

We’re hiring: A fixed term Gift Aid Officer. Location: Hybrid London Are you detail-focused, analytically minded, and have experience of working with Gift Aid?
MSF UK is looking for a Gift Aid Officer to be part of our Gift Aid team, helping unlock vital additional funding for our lifesaving medical work around the world. In this role, you’ll: Oversee the administration of Gift Aid, and other forms of tax-efficient giving, to maximise MSF UK’s income. Claim Gift Aid income across multiple income streams ensuring that MSF UK remains compliant with HMRC regulations. Support on delivering regular Gift Aid communications to supporters following HRMC best practice. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, ambitious team with a big impact. Salary:£ 36,437.07 to £ 44,534.19 per annum
Salary is offered in line with our pay framework and typically starts at the entry point of the band. Salary increases are considered annually and are subject to our appraisal and performance review process.
Job Purpose:
The primary role of the Gift Aid Officer is to oversee the management of Gift Aid Claims, and other forms of tax-efficient giving, within the Fundraising team. This includes reviewing the production and submission of MSF’s Gift Aid claims to HMRC each month via a 3rd party, preparing data and submissions for other types of tax efficient giving, such as Discretionary Trusts and identifying and implementing opportunities to maximise this income channel for MSF.
They are also the main point of contact for the Fundraising team, providing training and advice on Gift Aid, and maintaining relevant user guides and documentation. The Gift Aid Officer will also liaise directly with supporters on Gift Aid queries.

The post holder will oversee the day-to-day supporter relations Income operations, contributing towards developing and managing related processes for staff, supporters and the public in order to ensure all fundraising administration opportunities and supporter contribution to IR are maximised.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring income is processed accurately, ensuring that supporters receive the highest standards of customer service. The post holder will also ensure that information held on supporters is accurate, appropriate and up to date to support IR objectives.

Help launch a new initiative housing the homeless through the local church
Hope into Action is a national Christian charity enabling local churches to provide homes and support for people experiencing homelessness.
We are launching a new Hope into Action franchise in Milton Keynes, and are looking for a Location Lead to help establish and grow the project from the ground up.
Working with churches, volunteers, and the Hope into Action national team, you will help create homes where people can rebuild their lives within a supportive Christian community.
About the role
As Location Lead, you will provide local leadership and coordination for the Milton Keynes project.
At launch the project will involve one house supporting up to three tenants, working in partnership with our first partner church, New Life Church Milton Keynes.
You will help:
You will work closely with Hope into Action UK advisors, who provide established policies, safeguarding frameworks, systems, and ongoing support.
This means you are not building a housing project from scratch - you are helping implement and grow an established national model locally.

We are looking for someone who:
Experience in leadership, community work, housing, or charity management would be helpful, but we are equally interested in people with the right values, attitude, and relational skills.
A pioneering opportunity

As the project grows and additional houses are opened, hours and responsibilities are expected to increase accordingly.
