We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who has strong experience of raising money in Northern Ireland. This is a relationship-led role that would be ideal for someone who loves working with people and understands network mapping to maximise connection to cause to accelerate income growth. You will have experience of creating strategy, winning new business, and be happiest spending significant time out and about meeting people. While you will be based in Northern Ireland with strong connection to other colleagues based in and out of the Belfast office, this role is part of the Public Fundraising team who are based across England and you'll have regular contact with colleagues in the corporate fundraising and trusts teams.

About the role

In this role you will build strong relationships with volunteers, community groups, clubs, local businesses and others to inspire and motivate them to invest in a future free from arthritis. This is a new role for the charity, and it gives someone the opportunity to shape this area of work and lead on the income opportunities in Northern Ireland. But you won’t be starting from nothing; our Northern Ireland based staff and volunteer group have strong networks and brilliant ideas for supporting your success. You’ll also have support from the wider Public Fundraising team as well as the Philanthropy and Partnerships team. There is so much potential in this area and we’re looking for someone who is excited and has the skills to turn that potential into a strategy for success. And this work has never been more crucial; Arthritis UK Northern Ireland have recently published a landmark report calling for immediate action to tackle the growing musculoskeletal (MSK) health crisis in Northern Ireland, where people are waiting in pain for years to access a diagnosis and life changing surgery.

The Role

The Senior Programme Coordinator will support the development and delivery of SEO London’s apprenticeship programmes.

The post holder will develop a strong understanding of SEO London’s programmes, the industries we support and the needs of our students and partner organisations.They will use this knowledge to deliver projects, respond to stakeholder needs and provide a professional and supportive participant experience.

The role has three core areas of focus:

· Delivering high-quality apprenticeships programmes, projects and events

· Building trusted relationships with students, schools, partner firms and other stakeholders.

· Using data, feedback and evaluation to improve programme delivery and demonstrate impact.

This is a hands-on delivery role with responsibility for independently managing defined programme workstreams and projects from planning through to evaluation.

The successful candidate will be expected to create structure, manage competing priorities, anticipate delivery challenges, and resolve routine issues without requiring detailed day-to-day direction. They will understand when to make decisions independently and when a significant risk or issue should be escalated.

The rolewillsit within SEO London’s Apprenticeships Team, and support thedevelopment, preparation anddelivery of two new keyinitiatives:

· Plan A (Year 12-13): An 18-month apprenticeship support programme for Schools Leavers pursuing Higher-Level Apprenticeships across SEO London industries.

· Schools Alumni: A dedicated post-Schools community that keeps participants connected to SEO London, supports diverse progression pathways, and enables long-term tracking and engagement.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

PROGRAMME  AND PROJECT DELIVERY

· Take ownership of defined apprenticeship programme workstreams, projects and events from planning through to delivery and evaluation, ensuring agreed outcomes, deadlines and quality standards are met.

· Develop and maintain clear delivery plans, coordinate resources and stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve delivery risks or issues.

· Facilitate engaging programme sessions and provide appropriate one-to-one coaching and support to students.

Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced programme professional who can combine strong project coordination with excellent stakeholder management and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for complex activities. They will be able to create structure in a developing environment, manage competing priorities and make sound day-to-day decisions.

Direct experience within the apprenticeships sector is desirable but not essential.

Essential Skills and experience

· Experience of coordinating programmes, projects or events from planning through to delivery and evaluation.

· Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities, deadlines and defined workstreams.

· Experience building effective relationships with students, schools, employers, partners or other internal and external stakeholders.

· Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the confidence to facilitate sessions, present information and handle stakeholder queries professionally and empathetically.

· Experience using CRM systems, databases and Microsoft 365 to maintain accurate records, analyse information and produce reports or programme materials.

Desirable Experience and Knowledge

· Experience or knowledge of the UK apprenticeships, employability, careers, education or youth sector.

· Experience providing one-to-one coaching or student support.

Required qualifications

· University degree in any discipline; or

· 2 years of relevant and transferable work experience in a similar capacity

Here are some examples of how we help our clients:

In Person Enquiry.

Mr Jones attended our drop-in service regarding multiple debts which had accumulated when, due to severe and sudden illness, he was forced to finish work. Mr Jones was unable to communicate by telephone due to his illness so needed in person support. He was anxious as his creditors had been contacting him asking him for payments and some were threatening court action.

The Caseworker helped Mr Jones obtain details of all his debts. They arranged a formal Breathing Space to stop further action from his creditors for 60 days. The Caseworker helped Mr Jones complete a budget, checked his benefit income was correct, and helped him claim charitable support to maximise his income. They also looked at practical ways of helping him reduce his bills and expenditure. Unfortunately, Mr Jones still had very limited income to make affordable payment arrangements to his creditors.

The Caseworker then advised him of all the options and solutions available. Mr Jones chose a Debt Relief Order insolvency solution, which the Caseworker completed, to give him a fresh start by effectively clearing his debts.

Telephone Enquiry.

Miss Smith contacted our advice line for help with her energy arrears. She struggled with a language barrier due to a limited level of English and was vulnerable due to a mental health condition. With a combination of several telephone calls, together with interpreting services, the Caseworker was able to successfully help her.

The Caseworker contacted the fuel provider concerned and advised of her vulnerabilities. They requested that Miss Smith’s details were placed on the Priority Services Register. Even though it was Wintertime, Miss Smith had not been topping up her prepayment meter as she could not afford to do so, so arrears via unpaid standing charges, were also accruing. The meter was also in an awkward position, so she found it difficult to access to top up. The Caseworker assisted her in contacting the fuel provider to install a new smart meter which she could access easier. Miss Smith was then able to use an app to top up her meter which she found more convenient.

The Caseworker assisted Miss Smith in completing a budget, benefit claims, charitable support and fuel vouchers. The Caseworker looked at ways of reducing her expenditure and easy energy efficiency measures Miss Smith could undertake herself in her home.

As a result of these actions, Miss Smith then had some disposable income and was able to start to top up her prepayment meter regularly and keep warm. The Caseworker also assisted her with the completion of a successful trust fund application to her fuel provider, to repay the arrears in full.

Requirements

Person Specification:

1. To be appointed as an Energy Debt Specialist, you will need to have knowledge and experience of complex debt casework, covering priority and  non-priority debt advice, options, and insolvency solutions.

You will also need to have the Institute of Money Advisers Certificate in Money Advice Practice or MaPS Caseworker accreditation equivalent. NEA Level 3 City and Guilds Level Energy Awareness would be desirable too.

• OR for a trainee - at least 6 months’ experience of delivering excellent customer service in a regulated environment such as banking, insurance, or a contact centre.

2. Experience of achieving performance and quality targets/KPIs.

3. Ability and willingness to undertake training and development to comply with Money and Pensions Service and Citizens Advice quality standards.

4. Effective oral and written communication skills.

5. Numerate to the level required by the tasks.

6. IT literate with the ability to use software packages including Microsoft Office products in the provision of advice and preparation of formal written materials.

7. Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.

Are you passionate about seeing young people come to know Jesus and grow in relationship with him? We’re looking for a Youth Pastor to support the work we’re doing and innovate in new spaces, including taking a lead on outreach and pioneering the youth ministry at a new HT congregation in northeast Cambridge

This role has been created as part of a restructure of our youth team and will sit under the current youth pastor. Under their leadership, the postholder will take point on developing a youth ministry at a new HT congregation in northeast Cambridge, which is due to be launched in 2027. Sounds great, what will I be doing?

In this role, you will take ownership of a caseload of individuals at risk of homelessness, delivering proactive and outcome-focused interventions that prevent homelessness and support sustainable housing solutions. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for achieving service targets, monitoring performance against key outcomes, and ensuring statutory duties are met within required timescales.

Using your specialist knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, you will carry out detailed housing assessments, identify barriers to housing stability, and develop practical, co-produced Personal Housing Plans that drive measurable results. You will actively negotiate with landlords, housing providers, local authorities and partner agencies to secure accommodation and prevent tenancy breakdown wherever possible.

The role requires strong case management and excellent organisational skills, as you will manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure all actions are progressed promptly. You will be expected to monitor outcomes, track performance, and contribute towards contractual and service KPI delivery, ensuring that intervention targets are consistently achieved.

You will build and maintain effective partnerships across the housing sector, welfare services and community organisations, identifying opportunities that improve housing outcomes for clients. Success in this role will require persistence, resilience and a solution-focused mindset, with a strong emphasis on achieving positive move-on outcomes and reducing homelessness across the service.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge, experience or relevant qualifications relating to housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act, private rented sector housing, eviction processes, welfare benefits and tenants' rights. They will understand the causes of homelessness and have experience delivering effective interventions that achieve tangible outcomes for individuals facing housing challenges.

You will be comfortable working within a highly target-driven environment, managing a busy and demanding caseload while balancing multiple priorities and competing deadlines. You will be motivated by achieving results, able to monitor your own performance against service targets, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes within required timescales.

We are looking for someone with strong influencing and negotiation skills who can build productive relationships with landlords, housing providers, local authorities and other key stakeholders. You will be commercially aware in your approach, confident presenting housing solutions, and able to overcome barriers to secure positive housing outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated and confident working independently with a high level of autonomy. They will have excellent IT skills, experience maintaining accurate case records and databases, and the ability to analyse information and make informed decisions quickly.

Most importantly, you will be resilient, proactive and outcome-focused, with a genuine passion for preventing homelessness and helping individuals access and sustain suitable accommodation.

The Role
Position: Dog Trainer
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Location: Homebased covering Northampton region (see map for area)
Travel: This role will involve regular travel within the geographical area which you will cover (Northampton). Travel is usually by car however there may be some use of public transport. Occasional regional travel and overnight stays.

You'll play a vital role in training assistance dogs to a high standard whilst supporting volunteers, partners and the wider team to ensure the health, wellbeing and successful placement of the dogs throughout their working career.

What You'll Be Doing

• Train Canine Partners dogs at all stages of their training, using positive and reward-based training.
• Tailor training programmes to suit individual partner needs during the matching process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all dogs in training.
• Deliver partnership placement courses, supporting both the partner and dog through the transition.
• Participate in volunteer recruitment activities, including events, social media campaigns and community outreach.

About You

• Strong practical and theoretical experience in dog training and behaviour.
• Ability to handle and train dogs at all ages, using positive and reward-based training methods.
• Good self-motivation, discipline and initiative.
• ICT skills, Microsoft Office, Salesforce (desirable but can offer training), email, internet etc.
• Full UK clean driving license and use of a vehicle for work that is suitable to safely transport a dog if required.
• ABTC-ATI or similar qualification or the willingness to complete it.
• Good communication and coaching / teaching skills.

Our Young People and Families (YPF) hub provides early intervention, targeted and specialist support services to those in crisis, leaving care, missing from home or with substance misuse or mental health problems. Our services support people no matter what their situation – and have demonstrated a high success rate.

Job Description

Provide assertive outreach and engagement activities and undertake assessment for targeted and specialist treatment interventions for young people referred to the service under the supervision of senior staff.

Provide targeted and structured substance use interventions, both 1:1 and group work, for those young people aged 11-25 and their families when required. This will take place within a range of settings including, schools, community settings and home visits.

Provide satellite services away from our central office bases where required, to offer clients a wider choice of accessing substance use services and recovery support, to enable those with specialist requirements to have their needs met in appropriate settings.

Facilitate and support targeted groups, focus groups and service user participation.

Qualifications

· A relevant qualification such as youth work, counselling, health and social care, and/or relevant experience of therapeutic delivery, and alternative suitable qualifications.

· Good communication, organisational, and ICT skills.

What does good look like for this role?

· You will demonstrate knowledge and competency in delivering young people’s substance misuse interventions, to a wide arrange of individuals, according to their needs.

· You will have knowledge/understanding and or direct experience of supporting C&YP who are experiencing difficulties with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.

· You will evidence that you are able to work to a high standard of record keeping in a timely manner, in accordance with Catch22 delivery outcomes, targets and recording procedures.

· You will be able to deliver and evidence high quality engagement and support to the young people and families we work with.

· You will communicate and work collaboratively, constructively and effectively with colleagues and partner agencies, ensuring effective partnership working, representing Catch22 professionally at all times, and contributing positively to the team and Catch22.
