What you’ll do
You will input and maintain donor and grant records in Salesforce, while ensuring data accuracy, monitoring incoming donations, and issuing timely acknowledgements. You will oversee due‑diligence checks, support reporting deadlines and reconcile records with Finance. You will also coordinate meetings with funders, maintain prospect lists, support research, and help identify new funding opportunities, while providing general administrative support across the Fundraising team.

Essential requirements:
- Experience working effectively in deadline‑driven environments.

- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written communication skills.

Key details
Hours: full-time or part-time (from 28 to 35 hours per week): usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is possible and we would consider a four-day week.
Salary: £34,536 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.
Location: hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London office (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

What you'll be doing
As the National Fundraising Policy and Compliance Lead you will be the strategic lead for ensuring a strong culture of fundraising compliance and best practice within the Church of England. You will work within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team, which co-ordinates the biggest national fundraising programme within the Church of England, to support them to raise significant funds for the Net Zero Carbon Programme in an ethical and compliant way. You will also work with the Giving Directorate to ensure compliance across all their activities. You will create guidance, tools and resources that dioceses and local parishes can use to ensure they are compliant with key fundraising regulations, and create and deliver the training and case studies to support them. You will proactively advise the Head of Net Zero Fundraising on emerging topics of fundraising policy, such as the use of AI in fundraising and changes to key regulations.

About you
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a busy supporter care environment, working to tight deadlines
- Experience of writing donor correspondence and creating data capture guidance
- Proven experience of supporter care campaign management including creating clear processes and flow charts and managing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines

About the role
We are looking to appoint a full-time Trust and Foundations Fundraising Lead (35 hours per week) to lead and develop Rainbow Trust’s trusts and foundations fundraising programme. You will manage relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds we need to deliver and grow our support services.
Our Philanthropy team is an ambitious team with a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising £5.7m a year to fund our support services and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. We have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and you will have the opportunity to work on large applications.
You will cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundations, including five- and six-figure grants, increasing their engagement and support of the charity, through reports, meetings and phone calls. I Choose Freedom provides safe refuge, advocacy and specialist support to adult and child survivors of domestic abuse across East and West Surrey. Each year, we support around 250 survivors to rebuild their lives and find lasting safety.
The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Community Fundraiser to help grow our sustainable income and ensure survivors can access lifesaving refuge.
As part of a small, close-knit fundraising team, you’ll develop and deliver a vibrant programme of community and events fundraising. From challenge events and matched-funding campaigns to seasonal appeals, you’ll play a central role in engaging supporters, generating income and shaping future fundraising activity.
Key Responsibilities
Income Generation & Strategy
- Develop and deliver an annual community fundraising plan
- Generate income from individuals, community groups, schools, faith groups and local businesses
- Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities
- Manage and report on income targets
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to align with wider fundraising strategy
Campaigns and Events
- Lead community campaigns and appeals (e.g. challenge events, seasonal campaigns)
- Develop new fundraising initiatives to diversify income

Supporter Engagement
- Build and manage strong relationships with supporters

About You
You’ll have at least 1–2 years’ experience in fundraising, community engagement or a similar role and be ready to take the next step in your career.

The Role
As our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will lead efforts to secure and diversify funding, building a sustainable resource base to support our global mission.
Leading the Fundraising and Business Development Team, you will drive the implementation of our resource mobilisation strategy, focusing on increasing non-ODA income and expanding flexible and programmatic funding.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, finance, research and impact teams, you will help close funding gaps by developing strong donor relationships, negotiating funding agreements and shaping compelling funding propositions.
Alongside collaborating with the Director of Fundraising and Communications and supporting engagement with the Board of Trustees, you will manage systems, data and internal processes that strengthen fundraising performance and ensure effective delivery.

About You

Workload & Peak Periods
Our challenge calendar has natural peaks, and moderators must be prepared for increased activity during September-November and January-March. These months see higher participant numbers and more concurrent events, meaning more posts, questions and supporter interactions. In addition to these seasonal surges, the first and last day of every month are consistently the busiest, as participants start and complete their challenge.
We maintain a flexible, supportive team culture, and to keep this fairness and flexibility in place, moderators must be willing to work occasional bank holidays and be available on the first or last day of each month, when group activity is at its highest.
