The Fundraising and Digital Communications Officer will lead on delivering engaging digital fundraising and communications activity. You’ll manage email marketing and social media channels, grow our online audiences, and create compelling campaigns that increase awareness, engagement and donations. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll ensure a consistent and effective digital presence across fundraising, services and campaigns.

You’ll also play a key role in improving supporter journeys, using data and insight to optimise campaigns, segment audiences and maximise impact. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to the ongoing development of our CRM and digital platforms, helping to strengthen how we connect with supporters.

We’re looking for someone with experience in digital marketing and fundraising, strong copywriting skills, and confidence using tools such as email marketing platforms and social media scheduling and analytics tools. You’ll be organised, creative and comfortable managing multiple campaigns, with a strong commitment to equality and feminist values.

About the Role

As a Sexual Violence Outreach Worker you will provide compassionate, flexible, and connected support to clients who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and/or adult sexual assault, in order to help them engage with the support provided by the new Integrated Plymouth Sexual Violence Service.

Many individuals accessing the service will have experienced multiple adverse experiences and may present with complex, intersecting needs such as insecure housing, substance misuse, domestic abuse, and significant mental health challenges. You will provide support that aims to meet people where they are in order to build rapport and trust as the foundation for longer-term support and interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• To build secure, consistent, and trusting relationships through a highly person centred approach as previous experiences and trauma can lead to mistrust of services, and inconsistent engagement.
• Support individuals to explore their holistic needs to increase their physical and psychological safety, sense of control and while working collaboratively with multi agency partners to ensure coordinated, wrap around support.
• Identify barriers to individuals accessing the service and determine solutions
• Actively promote and maintain a visible service presence within relevant community and partner settings to build trust and encourage referrals
• Utilise a case management system to maintain accurate and professional recording of case records and contribute to monitoring information for the service including the collection of outcomes

About You

You will need:

• An understanding of the impact of sexual violence and complex trauma
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s)
• An ability to balance competing needs and priorities
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience of building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Personal resilience to manage exposure to highly emotional or sensitive demands of the role
• An ability to manage a caseload including complex case management
• An ability to use generic IT applications competently

We have a new and exciting opportunity within Victim Support to provide Domestic Abuse case management interventions across Cumbria, as part of the Drive Project.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

Victim Support are recruiting an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate's (IDVA) to cover Westmorland & Furness.

Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children, by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.

About the role:

The role is based in Westmorland & Furness.

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will be:

• Providing a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the DRIVE model, MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
• Promoting the service and raising awareness of issues arising, minimising barriers and improving access to support

You will need:

• Experience of providing support those affected by domestic abuse
• Experience of undertaking need and risk assessments and creating safety plans
• Experience of the MARAC and other partnership processes
• Experience of multi agency working

About the role

As a Victim Care Coordinator, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Victim Care Coordinator you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

You will need:

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
