About the opportunity
At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in North Lancashire (Lancaster area) working 21 hours per week.
You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.
Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.
You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.
About you
You will have:
- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
- · Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
- You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- The ability to manage your workload effectively, with appropriate support and tools, and to balance competing priorities.
- Confidence using IT systems to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- A compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach, with respect for diversity and individual lived experiences.
- The ability to travel independently.
- The confidence and ability to communicate with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding. You will be required to speak publicly at events about dementia, delivering information and signposting people to further resources and networks.

We are looking for a Mission Enabler to offer direction and energy to the ministry of Scripture Union with a focus on initiating and maintaining missional opportunities in South Wales. You will be an enthusiastic candidate who will be able to recruit, train, coach and support many Volunteers and Faith Guides working together with them. You will also lead by example, through the modelling of excellent mission delivery to children and young people consistent with Scripture Union’s mission in supporting the pioneering of new mission.
The successful candidate will:
· Be a strategic thinker and will have solid judgment of ministry impact.
· Have considerable insight into ministry with children and young people, be a passionate advocate, an excellent practitioner, and a capable communicator.
· Influence networks, shape opinion, challenge inertia and inspire creativity.
· Be self-disciplined, able to organise and prioritise their own workload, and manage multiple projects.
· Be able to visualise and work towards long-term goals.
· Be open to and comfortable with different traditions, styles and expression of spirituality, prayer, and worship, and has a growing familiarity with and understanding of the Bible.
· Have a total commitment to God and is a Christian disciple.
· Be able to communicate effectively and speak the Welsh language (would be desirable).

As part of our Omnichannel Team, you’ll help shape how we connect with people through email and SMS. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, not just delivering great campaigns, but helping others feel confident and supported in doing the same.
What you’ll do
You’ll create and deliver email and SMS campaigns that are clear, thoughtful and genuinely helpful to the people receiving them. You’ll think about how messages feel as well as how they perform, making sure they reach people at the right time and in the right way.
You’ll work alongside colleagues from different teams to plan and improve their campaigns, offering feedback in a way that builds confidence and supports learning. You’ll also develop and manage content calendars, helping to make sure our communications are joined up, relevant and aligned with what matters most to our supporters.
Part of your role will involve building and improving automated journeys and integrations, helping to create smoother, more personalised experiences. You’ll spend time looking at performance data, running tests and using what you learn to keep improving how we communicate.
You’ll also be a go-to person for our email and SMS platforms, sharing your knowledge, answering questions and helping others develop their skills.

As part of our Omnichannel Team, you’ll help shape how we connect with people through email and SMS. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, not just delivering great campaigns, but helping others feel confident and supported in doing the same.
What you’ll do
You’ll create and deliver email and SMS campaigns that are clear, thoughtful and genuinely helpful to the people receiving them. You’ll think about how messages feel as well as how they perform, making sure they reach people at the right time and in the right way.
You’ll work alongside colleagues from different teams to plan and improve their campaigns, offering feedback in a way that builds confidence and supports learning. You’ll also develop and manage content calendars, helping to make sure our communications are joined up, relevant and aligned with what matters most to our supporters.
Part of your role will involve building and improving automated journeys and integrations, helping to create smoother, more personalised experiences. You’ll spend time looking at performance data, running tests and using what you learn to keep improving how we communicate.
You’ll also be a go-to person for our email and SMS platforms, sharing your knowledge, answering questions and helping others develop their skills.

The Partnership and Infrastructure Manager will focus on driving participation growth within communities by working in partnership with key stakeholders, including Leisure providers, Active Partnerships, and National charities, to create inclusive and sustainable opportunities.
Purpose of the Job
· To develop and expand the boccia community infrastructure, increasing access and participation.
· To build and strengthen strategic partnerships that create more opportunities for people to play boccia.
· To coordinate and deliver the implementation of Boccia England’s action plans within key place-based locations.
As Partnerships and Infrastructure Manager you will play a central part supporting the organisation and ensuring we offer great service and care to the boccia community.

Accountability and Objectives of the role
Strategic Focus
- Support the co-ordination and delivery of agreed operational plans and programme by providing quarterly reports on performance against the targets in the annual delivery plan, for the board and key stakeholders.
- Drive the development of boccia delivery in key regions, aligned with Sport England place-based investment priorities.
- Collect, collate and report data, insight and learning related to the delivery of the Boccia
England operational plan
- Support the implementation of the People Plan for our external workforce at a local level where identified
- Work with colleagues to secure new funding to resource the development and growth of boccia in regions.
Relationship Building – Lead the initiation and development of a nationwide regional community boccia infrastructure model.
- Develop and manage a network of key partners to create opportunities that connect, engage, and empower physically disabled people and wider communities through a range of Boccia initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key identified partners to ensure Boccia England maximizes the opportunities to grow the sport of boccia
- Plan, promote, and deliver engagement events such as the Big Boccia Conversation, creating opportunities for partners and stakeholders to network, share ideas, and explore ways to increase participation in Boccia and disability sport.
- Collaborate with colleagues to establish new clubs, strengthen school engagement, and ensure the sustainability of participation growth.
Programme Development
- Promote and support the delivery of Try Boccia, providing partners with the tools, resources, and guidance required to deliver inclusive Boccia sessions across a range of community settings
- Support the development of local and regional Boccia communities, building their capacity to deliver sustainable participation opportunities across clubs and Try Boccia sites.
- Deliver a roadmap of initiatives across key locations to drive participation through a range of Boccia programmes.
Finance and Budget Management - Ensure effective processes are in place to manage and report on budgets.
- Coordinate annual budget planning and monitoring of performance against budgets.
- Effectively manage and monitor the specific budgets for participation and development programmes, with clear means of measuring progress.
- With the senior leadership team, ensure the preparation of relevant and appropriate quarterly financial reports to the Board.

Every day at Alzheimer’s Society, people affected by dementia come to us for support, information and hope. A carer looking for advice late at night. A family trying to understand a diagnosis. A supporter wanting to fund change. Digital plays a huge part in helping people find what they need, when they need it most.
We’re looking for a Digital Campaigns and Optimisation Manager to help shape those experiences.
This role is about making our digital channels feel clear, accessible and human. You’ll help create better online journeys across campaigns, content and platforms, making it easier for people to access support, connect with our work and take action.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and digital, bringing together creativity, insight and empathy to improve how we engage with people online. Whether you’re designing a website journey, improving campaign performance or using data to spot opportunities, your work will help create digital experiences that genuinely make a difference.

What you’ll do
You’ll help bring our digital activity to life, making sure the experiences we create are useful, engaging and easy to access for everyone.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver and improve digital campaigns, content and user journeys across our platforms, including the Society’s main website and fundraising platforms.
- Use insight, feedback and testing to understand what people need and improve their online experience.
- Work with teams across the organisation to support campaigns and digital projects from idea through to delivery.
- Use tools like Google Analytics 4 to track performance, spot opportunities and guide decisions.
- Help make sure our digital content is accessible, inclusive and user focused.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and learning within the team.
No two days will look the same. One day you might be improving a donation journey to help raise vital funds. The next, you could be helping make support content easier for someone with dementia or their family to find and understand.
About you
You’re someone who cares about creating digital experiences that work well for real people. You enjoy solving problems, improving journeys and working with others to make things better.
- Improving digital content, websites or user journeys to help people find what they need and take action.
- Supporting or managing people as part of a positive and collaborative team.
- Using CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, Umbraco or similar systems to manage website content.
- Working in agile or flexible ways, with the ability to adapt and keep improving things over time.
- Using data and tools like Google Analytics 4 to understand what’s working well and where digital experiences can be improved.
You’ll also bring strong communication and organisational skills, an understanding of accessible and inclusive digital content, and a genuine passion for creating great online experiences.

Are you passionate about ensuring people with lived experience are at the heart of creating change? Join Shelter as a Senior Lived Experience Coordinator and help shape and influence our campaigns, policy and communications work through meaningful involvement and co-production.
About the role
This is an exciting role within the Lived Experience Insight team, focusing on development and co-ordination of an engaging and impactful involvement and coproduction programme that delivers meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience of the housing emergency to shape and influence Shelter’s work. You will lead on planning and delivery of Lived Experience Insight across your directorate through front line delivery in the CPC Directorate and supportive line management.
Role specifics
We’re looking for someone who can lead and develop meaningful lived experience insight work that helps shape services, influence change and strengthen co-production across Shelter. You’ll work closely with teams across your directorate and nationally to coordinate insight projects, share learning and embed lived experience into decision-making and ways of working. The role requires you to support wellbeing, safeguarding and personal development for people involved in our work and helping create pathways into volunteering and employment. You’ll also design and deliver training and resources for colleagues, while ensuring activity is well monitored, evaluated and continuously improved.

The Lived Experience Insight team deliver involvement and co-production activities across the organisation, which shape the ongoing design, delivery and governance of Shelter’s work. People with lived experience are involved in a range of ways, including lived experience groups, codesigning Shelter's services and campaigns, sharing decision making on staff recruitment and supporting external influencing and systemic change via consultation and coproduction with key stakeholders.

Our Digital Products Team plays a critical role in delivering seamless, impactful, and user-centred digital experiences that support our mission.
As a Digital Product Lead, you’ll collaborate across departments; particularly with Retail and Fundraising, to shape, deliver, and optimise digital products that drive engagement and income. You’ll work within a supportive, agile team and champion an evidence-based, user-led approach to product development.
We are particularly looking for someone with experience working on retail and/or fundraising products, ideally within a charity or similarly complex, stakeholder-led environment.
Your Impact:
- Drive Digital vision: Support the development and delivery of product strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment to Marie Curie’s mission and strong stakeholder engagement.
- End-to-End product ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of digital products, from discovery and roadmap planning through to delivery, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
- User-centred design: Conduct user research and use data to design accessible, high-quality digital experiences for diverse audiences including patients, carers, donors, and volunteers.
- Performance optimisation: Use analytics and user feedback to monitor KPIs (e.g. engagement, conversion, donation growth), optimise journeys, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Lead through collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Fundraising, Retail, Marketing, and Technology, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
Key Criteria:
- Proven experience managing digital products end-to-end within a product-led environment.
- Experience delivering digital outcomes within retail and/or fundraising products; charity sector experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of UX, accessibility, and digital product design, with hands-on experience across the product lifecycle.
- Experience using analytics and insights to inform decisions and optimise performance.
- Experience working in Agile environments, managing backlogs and delivering through cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across complex environments.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Awareness of digital trends and opportunities to continuously improve products and services.
