What we're looking for
- Campaigning & Journalism: Experience as a strategic advocate or campaigner, with a track record of identifying cases that highlight consumer detriment
- Thematic Expertise: Experience navigating the political and legal sensitivities of campaigns related to Reform action, protest rights, Palestine and challenging the rise of the far right
- Project Management: Experience managing multi-faceted projects, ideally coordinating between different specialisms (e.g., legal, tech, and comms)
- Digital Mobilisation: Experience helping to develop and implement digital campaign strategies that have raised income, grown lists, or secured change
- Political & Economic Awareness: A keen understanding of the political landscape, particularly focused on party politics, protest and civil rights

About the role: We have been appointed as the secretariat of an Expert Reference Group (ERG) comprising a network of organisations in the London-wide violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. Key Responsibilities

To lead the delivery of Muslim Hands’s free hot meal provision and structured cooking Facilities , ensuring that local communities can access nutritious hot meals in a safe, welcoming environment while also learning essential cooking skills to make everyday meals from food parcel ingredients. This role will directly contribute to reducing food insecurity, building confidence, and promoting independence among beneficiaries.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day activities within Open Kitchen Manchester, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals.
- Plan, prepare, and cook hot meals for O.K’s free weekday lunch meals.

About the Charity
From Me to You is an inspiring charity dedicated to alleviating loneliness and isolation for people living with cancer. We make connections for people living with cancer through the simple, powerful act of letter writing easing loneliness and bringing comfort, hope and human connection, one letter at a time. Each year thousands of anonymous letters are collated by our team of volunteers and then given to patients at home, in hospitals or cancer centres by nurses and our charity partners. Recent feedback showed that 93% of our letter recipients reported that the letters lifted their mood and a quarter said that they made them feel less alone, with 80% saying that our letters made them feel cared for. Our work is powered by a passionate community of volunteers, in 2025 with their help we processed over 17,000 letters from all over the world, delivering them to cancer patients throughout the UK.
Our Donate a Letter programme supports our 2,500+ Volunteer Letter Writers to contribute anonymous letters, some people write a couple of letters a year, others one a week. These letters are all delivered to our PO Box in Ascot. They are then sorted, read and processed by our wonderful team of local Donate a Letter Volunteers. These volunteers also then repackaged and redistributed the suitable letters to cancer patients through our partnership with hospitals, cancer centres and other charities that act as distribution partners.
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and people-focused Volunteer Coordinator to manage and support our volunteer network. The role involves overseeing our Community Ambassadors based across the UK who support the charity through fundraising, awareness and community activities, as well as a core team of volunteers (based in Ascot) who process our donated letters by reading, filtering, packaging, and posting them to recipients. Advice Giving
• Deliver a multi-channel advice service, including home visits, to clients regarding their energy needs and income maximisation support, ensuring advice provided meets the requirements of Citizens Advice quality standards.

Facilities Supervisor Salary £32,000
On site at Southwark, there are five listed multi-function buildings: offices, residential accommodation, function space, storage/archive and the Cathedral. The RC Diocese of Southwark has its administrative services in Bowen House, the site offices and accommodation are housed across Archbishop’s House and Cathedral House with Amigo Hall being a conference/ events space. It is a complex site both in terms of the nature of the buildings and their uses.
As well as the Clergy and the Diocese staff, we also have other organisations and groups who use our premises and services, both in support of our aims and to raise funds for building maintenance.
This is an exciting time to join the organisation in this role. We have embarked on a new strategy, making changes in how we work, particularly to improve our events service. This role will focus on collaborating across these areas:
- Deliver a great service and spaces to clergy, clients, staff, and all building users
- Support the relationships with our parishioners and other groups

Job Purpose:

This role will also be responsible for the management of events, primarily in the Cathedral and Amigo Hall. This job will be responsible for (this list is not exhaustive):
- Site/Facilities
- Creating daily worksheets for 4 staff and checking daily on progress, reporting back to the Head of Facilities weekly on Mondays
