Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of Ygam’s Programmes Team, with a primary focus on gaming, esports and new and emerging digital harms affecting children and young people.
They will lead on the delivery and development of gaming‑focused and wider digital harms education, including alumni activity, stakeholder engagement and programme growth. The role will support professionals, parents, carers and young people to understand and prevent harm related to gaming, online environments and related digital behaviours.
The post holder will be responsible for recruiting, engaging and supporting stakeholders into Ygam’s gaming and digital harms programmes, promoting Ygam training, and maintaining strong long‑term relationships. This includes recruiting suitable delegates from education, youth services and other frontline sectors.
They will deliver high‑quality training and assured workshops (online and face‑to‑face) focused on gaming, esports and digital harms, and represent Ygam at conferences, events and sector forums.
The role involves ongoing support to organisations, schools and youth settings to embed Ygam’s resources in their practice. Regular visits to schools and organisations are a core requirement. The post holder will also gather and record data to help Ygam evidence the impact of our gaming and digital harms prevention work.

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll lead the technical delivery of a portfolio of capital sports infrastructure projects, supporting applicants from the earliest design stages through procurement, construction and project completion.
Managing an annual portfolio of projects, you'll work closely with local authorities, football clubs, schools, consultants and contractors to ensure facilities are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards. This is a contracted role from August 2026 to April 2027. The role offers flexible and home-working options, with travel to London required.
Role specifics
We’re looking for an experienced campaign leader who can confidently matrix manage a complex, cross-organisational project team and keep delivery progressing against agreed timelines, budgets and objectives.
You will oversee campaign governance, coordinate activity across multiple workstreams and ensure that marketing plans, media activity and creative content are fully aligned with the campaign’s audiences and objectives.
You will identify opportunities, anticipate challenges and ensure risks or barriers are understood, escalated and resolved at the earliest opportunity. You will also own key project documentation, including campaign plans, governance arrangements, risk registers and stakeholder reports.
As part of the role, you will line manage a Senior Project Management Executive, supporting their work across content development, creative delivery and performance reporting. Following the campaign, you will lead a full evaluation and establish clear, timebound improvement actions to strengthen future Winter Appeals.
You may also support other organisational campaigns, acting as a fundraising representative and ensuring income generation is embedded within their development and delivery.

About you
You will have experience project managing complex, cross-organisational income-generating projects and understand the opportunities and challenges involved in bringing multiple teams and priorities together.

About the team
This role sits within Fundraising Enablement in Shelter’s Income Generation Directorate and reports to the Head of Planning and Project Management.
Fundraising Enablement provides direction, structure and specialist support to colleagues across the organisation, helping to deliver Shelter’s Income Generation strategic plan. Through expertise in planning, project management, innovation and fundraising compliance, the function enables teams to achieve their income-generating goals and supports an organisation-wide culture in which fundraising can thrive.
You will work closely with colleagues across Individual Giving, High Value Partnerships, Community and Events, Retail, and Product Development and Innovation, as well as teams including Media, Creative, Digital, Campaigns, Services and Shelter Scotland.

The Barking and Dagenham Programme has been running for three years working across multiple locations in Barking and Dagenham to design solutions to financial insecurity with residents and convene local stakeholders to drive systems change. This role will continue to work in partnership with local organisations and residents to develop and manage an innovative, high impact programme of support that includes lived experience, grants, and information so that people living in financial insecurity have the opportunity to build financial security and thrive in the places where they live.

We are looking for someone experienced in managing programmes with complex projects, partnerships, and power dynamics and key stakeholders across the social, public, and charitable sector.
