Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.
In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.
To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Sponsorship and Individual Giving Officer. This role will play a key part in increasing and diversifying our income, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs during this pivotal moment in our charity’s history.
Role
Greyhound Rescue Wales is seeking a motivated and compassionate Sponsorship and Individual Giving Officer to grow and steward this important income stream. This role will nurture, develop and manage our corporate and individual giving programme, including legacies, ensuring our supporters feel valued and informed.
As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Trusts & Foundations Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to help deliver an annual income target of £400K+.
You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate relationships, membership and donors, whilst developing new partnerships and individual giving, including development of our legacies programme.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Public Fundraising Executive (Community & Challenge Events) to join our ambitious Fundraising team and help support, develop and grow our Challenge Events programme, alongside delivering Community Fundraising activity.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves working with people, enjoys making things happen and wants to see the direct impact of their work.
With an initial focus on our expanded London Marathon programme, you’ll help recruit, onboard and support runners and challenge event participants, ensuring they feel motivated, informed and part of Team Sunshine throughout their fundraising journey.
You’ll also support the development and delivery of our wider Challenge Events portfolio, helping us strengthen existing events, explore new opportunities and grow participation and income across a varied programme of third-party and supporter-led events. - delivering outstanding supporter care and stewardship
- recruiting and supporting challenge event participants
- helping plan and deliver the London Marathon and other events
- building strong relationships with community fundraisers
- coordinating communications, materials, volunteers and event activity
- monitoring fundraising progress and helping supporters achieve their goals
- keeping supporter, event and income records accurate and up to date
- identifying opportunities for supporters to stay involved with Rays of Sunshine
We’re looking for someone with experience in fundraising, events, supporter care, community engagement, customer service or another people-focused role.
You’ll be highly organised, confident communicating with a wide range of people and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Most importantly, you’ll genuinely care about giving supporters a fantastic experience and helping them feel connected to the difference their fundraising makes.
Experience in Community or Challenge Events fundraising, particularly the London Marathon or another large-scale event, would be an advantage.

The Service Desk Analyst is a key role within the Technology function, acting as the first and second line of support for end users across the organisation. The role is focused on delivering a high quality, customer centric support service aligned to ITIL best practice, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently, within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and with minimal disruption to business services.
The post holder will play an active part in incident, request, problem and change enablement processes, working collaboratively with internal teams and third party suppliers to restore service quickly, prevent recurrence of issues, and continually improve the end user experience.
This is a 12 months FTC
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for staff needing IT help, responding via phone, email, self-service portal and occasional desk-side support.
- Record and manage support requests using the IT system, making sure they are logged correctly and handled in a timely way.
- Resolve common IT issues at first and second level, passing more complex problems to senior teams when needed.
- Take responsibility for seeing issues through to completion and keeping users updated on progress.
- Set up accounts, equipment and system access for new starters, role changes and leavers, making sure access is added or removed when required.
- Help staff with their laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and everyday software.
- Support users with Microsoft 365 tools such as email, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user devices and applications.
- Spot repeat issues and flag them to senior team members so longer-term fixes can be considered.
- Add helpful notes and simple guides to the team knowledge base to make it easier to resolve issues in future.
- Suggest practical improvements to the service based on day-to-day experience and user feedback.
- Work with other IT teams and external support providers when extra help is needed to resolve issues.
- Help follow up on supplier support calls and keep track of progress.
- Aim to resolve requests within agreed timeframes and provide a good level of customer service.
- Keep support records clear and up to date, including notes on what was done to fix issues.
- Assist with basic reporting by keeping tickets accurate and properly updated.
- Follow company policies on security, data protection and acceptable use.
- Support common Microsoft technologies, printers, mobile phones etc.
- Prepare equipment and accounts for new starters and ensure everything is ready for their first day.

Essential

Education:

- High level of technical troubleshooting capability, able to diagnose and resolve complex or non-standard incidents and act as an escalation point for 1st line analysts.
- Experience working to SLAs and priorities, managing competing workloads and deadlines effectively.
- Experience supporting user lifecycle activities (Joiners, Movers, Leavers), including account setup, access changes and deprovisioning in line with security policies.
- Experience liaising confidently with both technical and non-technical users, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS / Android), Teams telephony and peripherals.
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID), including group management, permissions and basic identity troubleshooting.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our Support Services Directorate. You will play a key role in maintaining NEA’s financial systems, supporting accurate reporting and ensuring the organisation has the strong financial foundations needed to deliver its mission.

What you’ll be doing
· Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date accounting records

This is a hybrid role based at NEA’s Newcastle office, with a minimum of one day per week on site.

This role is a combination of training and support. Our IT Operations and Data, Digital, and Technology Transformation teams help staff and volunteers across AIUK get the most out of the tools they use every day, from Microsoft Copilot to our Knowledge Hub and Salesforce CRM. As our Technology Training and Support Analyst, you'll be at the heart of that: running engaging training sessions, building clear guides and resources, and helping people feel confident with the technology behind our work.
You'll also provide day to day 1st and 2nd line technical support, keeping things running smoothly when issues come up and getting involved with IT projects. You'll play a key role in our Salesforce project between September 2026 and September 2027, working with our implementation partner to shape training for the new CRM and helping test it as it's built.

Immediate Support Coordinator – Northwest Wales - Part-time 22.5 hours per week - Welsh speaker preferred
Context of Role
2wish support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person
aged 25 and under. We are an All-Wales and part England charity providing immediate
casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative
therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.
The post holder will provide immediate and ongoing emotional and practical support to families
affected by the sudden and unexpected death of their child or young adult.
Main Duties
1.0. Service:
1.1: To initiate immediate support for a caseload of families whose children and young people aged 0-25
have died suddenly and unexpectedly across the region
1.2: To contact all families within 24-48 hours of the referrals by telephone
1.3: Complete an initial assessment of families' needs to identify and plan the support as required in line
with safeguarding and risk reduction
1.4: Offer emotional support and advice to a case load of families through home visits and ongoing
weekly telephone calls
1.5: To liaise with the Counselling Support and Outreach Coordinator, who is responsible for organising
formal support such as counselling, complementary therapy or play therapy, subject to consent from the
bereaved individual
1.6: To work with hospital staff, GP’s, police officers, coroner offices, mental health teams and other
healthcare professionals to raise awareness of and promote referrals into the charity
1.7: To liaise with other professionals working alongside the family to provide a holistic and multi-agency
approach to support
1.8: Attend relevant forums within the area
1.9: To deliver awareness training in hospitals and other healthcare settings, schools and workplaces on
the use of the bereavement boxes, referring into the charity and bereavement awareness
1.10: To monitor the use of the memory boxes and ensure families have been offered a memory box
1.11: To work with hospital trusts to establish and maintain the upkeep of suitable bereavement suites for
bereaved individuals to use as required
1.12: Facilitate debriefs within professional settings following a traumatic or sudden death of a child or
young person
1.13: To submit monthly/quarterly/annual reports to Bereavement Services Manager as required
1.14: To signpost and/or refer to other agencies as required that can provide support as needed
1.15: Cover members of the support team for annual leave and/or sickness
General
2.1: To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration

Our Mental Health coaches work 1:1 with young people to build resilience and develop coping strategies for improving mental health and wellbeing, offering a trauma-informed combination of practical and emotional support.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will:
- Provide excellent strategic management of capital fundraising campaigns across the organisation, with an immediate focus on The Art Works as well as responsibility for supporting the planning and delivery of future campaigns, including the Mound Level Galleries redevelopment and other major capital priorities.
- Contribute to the development of long-term capital fundraising strategies, campaign plans and prospect pipelines to support future organisational priorities beyond The Art Works, ensuring continuity of donor engagement and campaign readiness.
- Translate campaign strategy, timelines and gift table requirements into clear delivery plans and actions across teams.
- Monitor progress toward income and activity targets, identify variances early and recommend tactical adjustments based on internal insight and external conditions.
- Lead the development and maintenance of campaign reporting, including dashboards, risk logs, income phasing and governance papers.
- Engage directly with major donors, trusts and foundations to cultivate, solicit and steward high-value gifts, working with senior colleagues, Trustees and Campaign Board members as appropriate to maximise outcomes.
- Oversee and direct cultivation and stewardship activity across the capital campaigns team, ensuring delivery of agreed fundraising strategies and a structured and strategic approach to progressing prospects and delivering income targets, while working closely with the wider Development team to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to donor engagement.
- Expand the philanthropic prospect base by identifying new opportunities and supporting approaches to high‑value or discreet funders.
- Oversee the preparation of high‑quality briefings, materials and follow‑up for senior‑level donor meetings and solicitations.
- Coordinate all donor hospitality activity for the campaign, liaising with colleagues across the Development team and other teams as required, including events, briefings, site visits and other cultivation opportunities.
- Lead the implementation of donor recognition and stewardship frameworks, ensuring consistent, high‑quality supporter experiences.
- Ensure operational readiness for the public phase of the campaign, coordinating colleagues across Development, Communications and Visitor Experience to create effective giving pathways and engagement opportunities.
- Provide day‑to‑day direction to the Development Manager – Capital Campaigns; the Campaigns Coordinator and other team members (to be brought in on a temporary basis as required at key campaign stages) to support high standards of documentation, planning and internal communication.
- Promote collaborative, inclusive working practices across the team and wider organisation.
Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following range of knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Significant leadership experience in capital or multi‑year fundraising campaigns with £multi-million targets.
- Experience of developing and sustaining a portfolio of high net worth prospects at 5, 6 and 7-figure levels including discreet and invite-only funders.
- Experience modelling and managing fundraising cash flow, campaign pacing and income phasing across multiple fundraising priorities, ensuring alignment with organisational and project delivery requirements.
- Ability to expand donor networks at local, national, and international level.
- Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to influence, articulate complex ideas and inspire support.

What will you bring?
- You'll have significant experience leading participation, engagement, student support, or community-focused services at a strategic level.
- You'll be able to design and improve systems that make it easy for people to engage, access support and achieve their goals.
- You’ll have a strong understanding of inclusion, belonging and the barriers that can prevent people from participating fully.
- You’ll be confident leading complex services involving safeguarding, risk management and stakeholder partnerships.
- You’ll know how to build strong relationships, influence a range of stakeholders and work collaboratively to achieve shared outcomes.
