About this role
This part-time role provides a unique opportunity to join the Bevan Foundation’s communications and marketing team. You will play a central role in supporting the charity’s relationship with its supporters and subscribers, enabling us to grow our income. You will do this by ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes and by managing relationships with subscribers and supporters.
About you
You will have an excellent understanding of administrative systems and be confident in undertaking tasks such as invoicing. You will be a good communicator and happy to act as the Foundation’s point of contact with its subscribers. You will be well-organised and able to operate independently, with a track record of delivery against tight deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with a wider team contributing to developing its strategic direction. You’ll report to the Head of Communications and Marketing.
Key terms
It is envisaged that the post holder will work 3 days a week, with the exact working pattern to be discussed with the successful candidate
The salary for this post is £28,393 - £31,273 (Grade 5), a pro rata salary of £17,038 to £18,763. We would normally expect to appoint at the lower end of the range, subject to experience.
We work in a hybrid way, the post holder would be expected to be office-based for one to two days a week and to attend monthly in-person team meetings. The Foundation’s offices are in Merthyr Tydfil.

Role purpose:

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Planning: Develop and deliver comprehensive social media plans across platforms. Assist with social media strategy and execution to support organisational objectives. Support with the integration of plans into wider communication planning and needs. Integrate key business intelligence and context provided by colleagues and teams into plans.
- Content creation: Develop and schedule engaging content applying broad platform experience (including LinkedIn, X, and Facebook, with the potential to expand to other platforms)

About the role
The Social Media and Marketing Officer will deliver high-performing digital marketing campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and engagement. The Social Media & Marketing Officer leads Emerging Futures’ social media presence and external-facing marketing activities, bringing our stories, values and mission to life across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Working closely with the Communications team, our regional services, and the company’s Recovery Voice Network, you will create compelling, sensitive, and engaging digital content that reflects the lived experiences of people in recovery and the strengths of our services.
This role is hands-on and creative: capturing video content in services nationwide, producing high-quality Reels and short-form video, coordinating external freelancers, planning content calendars, and ensuring our online communities feel respected, supported and inspired.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own our events and run them like a business. We are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team based at either our London or Midlands site. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a salary circa £38,000 to £42,000 per annum (dependent on location).
The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Midlands. Our purpose is to share the RAF story, past, present and future – using the stories of its people and our collections in order to engage, inform and inspire. We have two public sites (London and Midlands) and a stored collection (Stafford). Our trading company and active fundraising supplement Grant in Aid which comes through the Ministry of Defence.
The Royal Air Force Museum is a Carbon Literate organisation and as such promotes Carbon Literacy.
Purpose of the Digital Marketing Manager role:
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing professional to join our Marketing and Communications team, to lead on all aspects of digital marketing at the Royal Air Force Museum. You will be an important part of a closely-knit team that works collaboratively to deliver our goals.
The Digital Marketing Manager will drive the digital marketing strategy, working closely with the marketing team to deliver visitor and revenue targets, develop digital content and creative initiatives to build the RAF Museum brand, as well as playing a leading role in the development of new digital programmes, such as CRM and eCommerce initiatives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the potential of digital to lead and inspire, at an exciting time for the Museum as we deliver on the vision outlined in our Strategic Plan to 2030.
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will have a variety of roles which will include:
- To support the Director of Visitor and Commerical Development in the development of the RAF Museum digital marketing and eCommerce Strategy. This commercially oriented strategy will build on the principles outlined in our Commercial Strategy and will focus on the development of the Museums digital business and in driving awareness and visits to the 3 RAF Museums.
- Set and deliver on annual and quarterly digital brand engagement and revenue targets across all online acquisition channels responsible for PPC, SEO, Display, Social Paid and Affiliates, ensuring KPI’s are met. You will play a key role in developing our e-commerce and CRM, and data strategy, while working closely with our Retail Team.
- Develop a digital marketing strategy in collaboration with the wider Marketing and Communications team, to bring to life the Museum’s annual brand marketing objectives. • Develop a digital performance report that highlights insights, results and recommendations across all key digital marketing and acquisition KPIs for all digital channels.
- Key responsibility for the development of the new RAF Museum website, in line with overall marketing objectives. This will consider the future integration of the Museum’s website, its ticketing platforms, its CRM system, its social media channels, and its online store.
- Effective management of new website, CRM system, and social media channels; through optimization, updating, and the production of engaging content that aligns with our brand to improve the site’s digital performance and KPIs
Regular travel between the Museum sites will be required.
