About the Youth Endowment Fund 

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice. 

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. 

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change - scaling and spreading the practices that make a difference. 

One of the most important things we do is turn evidence into action through our change programmes, working directly with schools, local leaders and services to change practice and prevent violence. To deliver these programmes well, we need clear plans, smooth commissioning and procurement processes, accurate data and strong coordination across teams and partners.

The Programme Delivery Manager role is critical to making that happen, and it has two distinct elements: 

Programme management for two Change programmes: You’ll be the hands-on programme lead for two of our main change programmes. You’ll work closely with the Change delivery team to put clear, aligned plans in place and then brilliantly manage those plans day to day, making sure everyone knows what’s expected of them and by when. 

Commissioning and procurement support for the whole Change team: You’ll also be the go-to source of guidance and advice for Change colleagues who are procuring or commissioning other activity. You’ll help the team navigate processes correctly, ensuring commissioning is captured and maintained accurately in Salesforce and keep our ways of working consistent across the team. By keeping us organised and on track, you’ll help us maximise the impact of every pound we invest. 

Key responsibilities 

Your role has these two distinct but complementary elements. The first is hands-on programme management for two of our main Change programmes. The second is acting as a source of guidance, advice and practical support on commissioning and procurement for the wider Change team. Together, these responsibilities are essential to keeping our programmes on track and our commissioning processes running smoothly and consistently. A detailed list of your key responsibilities is given below: 

1: Hands-on programme management for two Change programmes 

• Lead programme planning and coordination: 

• Work with the delivery team to make sure we have clear, aligned programme plans in place, with timelines, milestones and owners for every workstream. 

• Brilliantly manage those plans day to day, making sure everyone knows what’s expected of them and by when, and that the team stays on track across multiple demanding workstreams. 

• Track dependencies and progress, flag risks to delivery early and coordinate solutions before issues become blockers. 

2: Guidance, advice and practical support on commissioning and procurement for the Change team  

• Manage contracts and commissioning for delivery partners 

• Draft, prepare and execute agreements and subsequent variations with delivery partners and commissioned providers, using Adobe e-Sign where required. 

• Accurately input and maintain all programme data in Salesforce, including deliverables, financial commitments, payment schedules and supporting documents. 

• Ensure timely reporting and compliance with contractual requirements. 

• Resolve payment queries and discrepancies quickly, chasing outstanding invoices and reports where needed, and conduct regular data accuracy spot checks in Salesforce. 

• Support process improvements and ways of working 

• Work with the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager to keep the team’s commissioning and procurement processes consistent with YEF-wide ways of working. 

• Develop and maintain simple, effective tools for planning, tracking and reporting, building on the systems we already use (including Salesforce). 

• Identify and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency across our programme and commissioning operations. 

• Enable effective communication and reporting 

• Serve as the central point of contact for programme delivery, commissioning and procurement requests across the team, ensuring streamlined processes and avoiding duplication. 

• Provide timely responses and clear communication to internal teams and external partners to keep everything moving. 

• Keep senior leadership informed with forward plans, dashboards and progress updates to support better strategic decisions.

Hybrid Working Details     

The office is based in Central London. Those living in and around London are expected to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week. If you live outside of London and work remotely, you’ll be expected to work from the London office 2 days per month.

About the role 

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of services,  projects, events and member communications across the organisation. Working closely with the  Head of Services and colleagues across teams, the postholder will provide high-quality  administrative, project and operational support, helping to ensure services run efficiently and  members receive excellent support and communication. 

This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, strong  communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Services Administration 

• Provide administrative support for the planning, delivery and evaluation of webinars and  online events.

• Support the production and distribution of Fragile Links, including content coordination,  proofreading, scheduling and publication processes. 

• Assist the Head of Services with the administration and project management of  conferences, events and service-related projects. 

• Maintain accurate project records, databases and documentation.

Project Administration 

• Provide administrative support for partnership projects

• Coordinate member communications relating to projects and programmes.

Membership and Member Support

Volunteering and support groups

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Van Driver & stock Collector to join the Retail team. Your role is to ensure the careful movement, collection and delivery in liaison with Shop Managers, of all merchandise within a dedicated boundary as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.

Role Requirements

Minimum age 21 or Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) holder for Insurance purposes.

• Responsible for the collection and delivery of donated goods to the required location within agreed timescales and to agreed targets.
• To provide delivery and collection service to external stock generation sites through Donation Stations.
• To undertake bag drops and collections as required.
• To maintain strict control of security of all goods collected, transported and delivered.
• To ensure minimum losses are incurred on goods and furniture by the careful and respectful handling of all such items.
• Role will involve a large amount of heavy lifting in picking up and moving stock including furniture.
• To support maintenance of multi-site storage of stock belonging to The Children’s Trust
• Transportation of rubbish and unwanted items to recycling centre or refuse site as appropriate.
• To ensure customer care and quality of service.
• To act as the representative of The Children’s Trust in the collection from and delivery to customers of donated goods and furniture.

The Manager, Physics Workforce is a key role in the team with a core purpose of supporting and shaping activities that develop a strong and robust evidence base through research to:

• Identify the skills needs of physics powered sectors and champion new ways to meet them. 
• Highlight the often-hidden contribution of physics skills to our economy.

Projects you may work on include:

• A multi‑year, Physics Workforce programme that delivers evidence and insight on physics skills across the UK and Ireland.
• Development of sector deep dive projects to identify impactful policy, industry and IOP/partner-led solutions to identified shortages and challenges(with associated reports and stakeholder engagement).
• Supporting the workforce and skills elements of policy submissions and other initiatives across IOP’s strategic pillars of Skills, Science and Society.

About the role:

At the Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. We award grants to other charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. We also carry out ongoing research, in partnership with disabled people and key stakeholders in the industry, to inspire innovations that continue to champion accessible transport for all.

This role will support the Senior Insight Manager in delivering policy research and insight as part of the new insight function. This role sits at the intersection of research and policy, ensuring that evidence is not only generated, but interpreted and mobilised effectively to inform forward-looking organisational positioning.

What you will be doing:

As Policy Research Manager, you’ll play a central role in building and mobilising the evidence needed to influence policy and public debate on mobility, disability and welfare reform. Working closely with colleagues across Insight, Policy and Public Affairs, you’ll help to ensure that the Foundation has a robust, timely and compelling evidence base to support advocacy, engagement with decision-makers, and external partnerships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing clear and persuasive evidence narratives that demonstrate the social value and impact of the Foundation’s work, drawing on research, evaluation findings and wider policy evidence
• Scoping, developing and oversight of rapid evidence reviews and insight summaries to inform policy positions, responses to consultations and support external engagement
• Delivering forward-looking policy analyses using futures and foresight approaches (including horizon scanning and trend synthesis), assessing potential implications for disabled people and organisational positioning.
• Acting as the lead for policy-relevant research on welfare reform and related priority areas, synthesising internal and external evidence to inform organisational responses
• Supporting coordination with Motability Operations on shared policy and research priorities
• Supporting relationships with external partners including Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs), think tanks and public research bodies, including representing the Foundation to contribute an evidence-informed perspective
• Supporting dissemination and engagement activity, including roundtables, briefings, thought pieces and events that help shape debate and explore innovative policy solutions
• Working collaboratively across the organisation to move our evidence and insight from reactive to proactive, strengthening our influence over time

The postholder will be ready to get stuck in, helping us to identify and address operational challenges before they become problems and reduce unnecessary demands on managers and senior leaders. We are looking for an effective communicator to ensure that people, systems, and resources support the Foundation's mission and enable staff to do their best work. Pay and Conditions of Service

This post is permanent and full-time.

The annual full-time salary for this role is between £47,911 and £53,890, inclusive of London Weighting. 

There is a probationary period of six months for this post. 

Full-time staff are entitled to 25 days holiday leave per annum with additional days for long service. The timing of holidays must fit in with the needs of the Foundation and must be agreed in advance. In addition to annual holidays there is paid time off for national holidays. 

The post will be based in the London office at Unit 17 Deane House Studios, 27 Greenwood Place, London NW5 1LB. Staff currently work two to three days a week in the office. 

The normal working week is 35 hours for full-time posts, seven hours per day, Monday to Friday. Standard office hours are 9.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m.

The role

You will have a small team of support workers and volunteers to manage.

Your role as a team manager will be to directly support a team of support workers and volunteers in all areas of the service. You will aid in de-escalating those in a state of crisis which is exacerbated or influenced by gambling related behaviours. You will be expected to manage crises and your team, within a drop-in model. You will be expected to hold your own caseload of clients, providing 1:1 bespoke advice surrounding gambling and mental health support. In addition, you will aid in overseeing peer-led psychoeducation groups addressing root causes of gambling and a safe environment for loved ones to build meaningful peer connections. We are seeking autonomous, creative individuals with experiences of working with behaviours around addiction and direct management responsibilities.

Community Support Manager

Role Purpose 

As Community Support Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of support to HOST’s global community of Hosted Partners (HPs), ensuring a consistent, responsive and values-led service. You’ll oversee Community Support activity, enabling partners to focus on their work by providing clear guidance, reliable processes and effective operational support. 

This role sits at the centre of the Community Support team and will involve working alongside the Partnerships Manager: Changemakers to ensure high-quality delivery of our project and fiscal hosting services. You’ll co-manage a small, high-performing team, ensuring strong performance, clear priorities and a supportive team culture. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the systems, processes and ways of working that underpin Project Hosting, ensuring they are efficient, scalable and responsive to the needs of our Hosted Partners. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Leadership and Management 

Line manage two Community Support Leads, providing coaching, direction and performance feedback. 

Oversee delivery of Community Support activities, including internal team operations, management of SOPs, service delivery consistency, payment operations and risk process administration. 

Manage team meeting cadence, objectives and performance tracking. 

Manage team workload, priorities and handovers to ensure coordinated day-to-day delivery across Community Support. 

Produce weekly highlights reports outlining ongoing tasks, completed objectives and customer service statistics.

Develop and maintain all Community Support standard operating procedures (SOPs).

4. Risk and Compliance 

Lead the preparation and facilitation of weekly risk meetings, ensuring risks are identified, recorded and escalated in a timely and appropriate manner. 

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all risk assessments, decisions and resolutions. 

Monitor agreed risk mitigation actions, ensuring they are tracked and implemented effectively within agreed timeframes. 

Work closely with the Community Support Team to proactively identify emerging risks and regularly review the effectiveness of ongoing mitigation measures. 

5. Payment Management 

Coordinate internal payment processes, working closely with the Finance team to support efficiency, consistency and automation improvements.

5+ years' experience in operations, partnerships, or programme delivery within a not-for-profit, social enterprise, or international NGO. 

3+ years' experience managing partner or client relationships, ideally across multiple regions or cultures. 

2+ years' experience leading and developing a small team, including setting goals, coaching, and performance management. 

Confident managing systems, workflows, and digital tools (such as ClickUp, Zendesk, Jotform, or CRM platforms). 

Proven ability to coordinate across departments and disciplines to resolve complex partner or client issues. 

Experience designing, documenting, and improving organisational processes or SOPs to drive efficiency. 

Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into service or system improvements. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent HOST’s tone and values in partner-facing communications. 

Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines in fast-moving, distributed teams.

We are looking for an experienced, thoughtful Operations Lead to join our small,

purpose-led CIC. The Operations Lead is central to how Power & Integrity functions day-

to-day, supporting both the running of operations and the development of the systems

and processes that help us work more effectively as we grow. The postholder holds the

operational backbone of the organisation, providing trusted executive and

administrative support, coordinating our consultancy portfolio, supporting financial

processes, and strengthening the systems that allow our work to land reliably and on

time.

Working closely with the Co-Chairs, the Operations, Governance and Risk Committee,

our consultancy, impact and the finance function, the postholder combines hands-on

operational delivery with coordination across our consulting and wider engagements.

This is a varied, practical role suited to someone who enjoys constructing workflows,

anticipating needs, spotting risks early, and creating processes that allow others to do

their best work.

This is not a polished corporate operations role. We are a small organisation, still

evolving how we work, so this role would suit someone who enjoys building, shaping, and

improving systems over time, rather than stepping into something already fully formed.

The role carries responsibility for coordination, administration and reliable delivery. The

postholder enables and supports decision-making, governance and delivery, working

within agreed processes and escalating appropriately, and grows their scope over time.

We are seeking an Operations and Resource Manager to provide effective day-to-day operational leadership across the life of Wesley’s Chapel and Leysian Mission, ensuring that people, property, systems and resources are managed well in support of the organisation’s worship, mission, heritage, community activity and public engagement. The role will combine practical operational management with strong oversight of HR, finance, property contracts, compliance and safeguarding, helping the organisation remain well run, responsive and able to grow and change over time.

Wesley’s Chapel and Leysian Mission is a thriving, inclusive, diverse and active Methodist Church and Circuit and a significant historic site in Central London. As the first Methodist Church built in London, and the headquarters of John Wesley, the site includes: the Chapel, the Museum of Methodism, John Wesley’s House, John Wesley’s tomb, as well as meeting rooms, offices and a resident community.
