The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.
The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. We are a dynamic team, working remotely from our homes around the country. We gather regularly online, and also have in-person team days through the year.

As Marketing Officer, you will join the Business Development, Marketing and Communications Manager and Communications Coordinator to form a small yet dynamic and effective marketing team. Together you will support the marketing activities for the National Society for Education and the sub teams within it. These include the Professional Learning Group, Growing Faith, Partnerships & Engagement, Education Policy and SIAMS teams.

The Food Justice Alliance
The Cambridge Food Justice Alliance is a network of local organisations working together to address food insecurity in Cambridge and take strategic, collective action for lasting food justice. The Alliance strengthens connections across the city, supports partners to share knowledge and experience, identifies shared priorities, and coordinates activity to help residents access fair, dignified and sustainable food support. Its work is guided by a steering group with representatives from Cambridge Sustainable Food, Cambridge City Foodbank, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge United Charitable Trust, Abbey People CIO, Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum and Church of the Good Shepherd. The Steering Group shapes key themes, agrees collective actions and identifies the partners best placed to lead specific areas of work.
This is a coordination and systems leadership role, not a frontline delivery post. The Coordinator will strengthen partnership working, improve communication and shared learning, support resident involvement, and increase the Alliance's influence on policy, funding and system change. The role will help build a stronger, more connected and influential Alliance, enabling collective action to address both the causes and impacts of food insecurity.

About the Role
This role leads all aspects of Foodrise’s communications, ensuring our campaigns reach key audiences, drive systemic change in the food system and achieve our new strategic goals:
You will develop and implement a media and communications strategy, build our media profile, oversee digital channels, and act as guardian of our brand. This includes centring communities at the heart of campaigns, building our public profile with key audiences including journalists, developing our range of allies, reflecting our understanding of historical injustice in the food system, and fostering an experimentation and learning culture. The Role:
Lead, develop and provide hands on delivery of existing and new income generating events
Be an active and positive member of the Fundraising Leadership Team (FLT)
Work with the FLT and Marcomms team to continually deliver and develop events, effective communications income through engagement with existing and new stakeholders.
Deliver an ambitious annual fundraising events six figure income target
Deliver hands on end-to-end activity in the delivery of events, working with colleagues and delegating where appropriate
Manage and report on all activity, risk, income and expenditure, as required and to meet all stakeholder expectations
The Candidate:
Experience of effectively leading and delivering end to end project management
Experience of working in a charity fundraising environment
Demonstrable experience of being responsible for personally delivering six figure annual income from successful event fundraising.
Demonstrable experience of collaboration to secure significant income
Demonstrable experience of setting, managing and delivering income targets, expenditure budgets and reforecasts.
Have a valid UK Drivers License.

About the role
As our Corporate Fundraiser, you'll support the delivery of Zoe's Place overall income generation strategy, by developing a portfolio of corporate supporters at Zoe's Place Middlesbrough to deliver long term sustainable income growth.
You'll do this through providing excellent stewardship to newly established corporate relationships and identifying opportunities to grow current partnerships. This role is all about opening doors and generating new opportunities for support. You'll support the delivery of events on behalf of the hospice for both existing and potential relationships, and you'll also represent the hospice in external networking events, delivering presentations, and clearly communicating the hospice's case for support.
