About the Role

As Head of Donor Engagement, you will lead Norwood's relationship fundraising strategy across major donors, trusts and foundations, legacy giving and emerging supporter audiences.

Your Day to Day

You will:

• Lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary fundraising team
• Manage performance, targets and professional development across the team

About the role

The National Institute of Teaching is looking for an exceptional Head of Communications and Engagement to lead how we tell our story, build our reputation and deepen our relationships across the education sector. Guided by our belief that teaching is a fundamental societal good, a privilege and a responsibility, this is a senior, strategic role at the heart of an ambitious organisation working to improve the quality of teacher and leader development at system level. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation that the postholder will work from the office at least once a fortnight, and more frequently where required to meet business needs. The role also involves national travel, which may include overnight stays.

About this job

The Head of Research enables successful delivery of the organisation’s ground-breaking Research Strategy. They will provide vital leadership, strategic direction and day to day management of the MS Society’s research programme as well as leadership of the Research Team.

This varied and exciting role also involves developing and maintaining strategically relevant partnerships, annual grant round, new research strategy and acting as a spokesperson for the MS Society as well as being a key ambassador – inspiring internal teams about the MS Society’s research programme.

Please note this is a part-time 14 hours per week position. This could be worked across either 2 or 3 days.

About the role

The Head of Income Generation is a new and important leadership role within Stonewall Housing, created to grow and diversify our voluntary income and support the next stage of our development as a nationwide LGBTQ+ housing and homelessness charity.

Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead the development and delivery of ambitious income generation plans, with a particular focus on significantly growing income from corporate giving and partnerships.

You will build on Stonewall Housing’s existing corporate relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across the UK. This will include strategic and commercial partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate donations, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and other opportunities for businesses and their employees to support our work.

You will develop compelling partnership propositions, lead applications and pitches, build relationships with senior decision-makers and create opportunities that deliver sustainable income alongside wider value for Stonewall Housing and the LGBTQ+ communities we support.

Alongside your focus on corporate income, you will work across Stonewall Housing’s wider fundraising portfolio, contributing to the development and growth of individual giving, major donor fundraising, community fundraising and other voluntary income streams. You will identify opportunities for different areas of fundraising to complement one another and create meaningful pathways for supporters to deepen their relationship with Stonewall Housing.

This is a senior role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on income generation. You will be as comfortable developing an income strategy and managing a pipeline as you are writing an application to a corporate foundation, pitching a partnership, meeting a prospective supporter or developing a new fundraising opportunity.

Working closely with the Director of Development and colleagues across Stonewall Housing, you will help translate our services, impact and ambitions into compelling opportunities for funders, businesses, partners and supporters.

As this is a new role, you will have a significant opportunity to shape our approach, develop new income streams and build the systems, relationships and opportunities needed to support Stonewall Housing’s long-term sustainability and national impact.

Key responsibilities

Corporate giving and partnerships

• Lead the development and delivery of ambitious plans to grow and diversify Stonewall Housing’s corporate income across the UK.

• Generate income through corporate partnerships, corporate giving, Charity of the Year relationships, commercial partnerships, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship and other forms of business engagement.

• Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of prospective corporate supporters and partners.

• Research, identify and pursue new corporate fundraising opportunities that align with Stonewall Housing’s mission, values and strategic priorities.

• Secure new high-value and multi-year corporate partnerships that generate sustainable income and wider strategic value.

• Develop compelling and tailored partnership propositions that connect corporate priorities with Stonewall Housing’s services, impact and ambitions.

Individual giving and wider fundraising

• Work across Stonewall Housing’s wider voluntary income portfolio to support the growth and diversification of sustainable income.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Development team, develop and deliver plans to grow income from individual supporters, including regular giving, one-off donations, fundraising appeals and digital giving.

• Develop engaging supporter journeys that strengthen acquisition, engagement, retention and long-term support.

• Develop fundraising products, campaigns and activities that are accessible, engaging and capable of generating sustainable income.

• Identify opportunities to connect corporate engagement with individual giving, including employee donations, payroll giving, matched funding and workplace fundraising.

• Use supporter insight and fundraising data to improve engagement, retention and long-term value.

• Explore new and emerging income opportunities where these align with Stonewall Housing’s values, strategic priorities and organisational capacity.

Income strategy and development

Essential experience

• Significant experience of working in a senior fundraising, income generation, development, partnerships or business development role, with responsibility for generating income and delivering against agreed targets.

• A strong track record of securing and growing income from corporate partners, businesses or other external organisations.

• Demonstrable experience of developing successful corporate relationships, from identifying and approaching prospective partners through to securing, managing and growing partnerships.

• Experience of generating income through a range of corporate opportunities, which may include strategic partnerships, commercial partnerships, corporate giving, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate foundations, sponsorship, employee fundraising or cause-related marketing.

Creating Hope Together

Creating Hope Together is Scotland's suicide prevention strategy and action plan (2022–2032), published by the Scottish Government and COSLA. Its vision is to reduce the number of suicide deaths in Scotland while tackling the inequalities that contribute to suicide, so that any child, young person or adult who has thoughts of taking their own life, or who is affected by suicide, gets the help they need and feels a sense of hope.

All of the work is delivered in line with the strategy's guiding principles: putting inequalities and diversity first; co-developing our work with people with lived and living experience; embedding Time, Space, Compassion; keeping the voices of children and young people central; connecting people across sectors to learn together; reducing the stigma of suicide; and ensuring our work is evidence-informed.

The role

This is a new role, hosted by Change Mental Health on behalf of Suicide Prevention Scotland, created to support delivery of Outcome 3 of Creating Hope Together: that everyone affected by suicide is able to access high quality, compassionate, appropriate and timely support.

The postholder will work alongside colleagues in the delivery collective - primarily the Time Space Compassion (TSC) Lead and the Children and Young People (CYP) Lead - to support delivery of a range of actions across the Delivery Plan. In practice this means helping partners in community, primary care, unscheduled care and mental health settings to put person-centred, compassionate approaches into everyday practice; growing the reach of Time, Space, Compassion across Scotland; and strengthening support for children and young people at higher risk of suicide.

The role focuses on enabling practical change in real-world settings through strong partnerships, effective communication, and the thoughtful use of learning and evidence to support continuous improvement. It sits within a small, collaborative team and works across a wide network of national and local partners, including NHS Boards, local authorities, third sector organisations, the Lived and Living Experience Panel (LLEP) and the Youth Advisory Group (YAG).

Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of implementation and improvement resources in practice

- Support partners to work at a national and local level to embed person‑centred, compassionate approaches to supporting people affected by suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

- Work with partners and draw on the latest evidence, best practice and a range of experts, to identify and respond to barriers and enablers to implementation

- This includes supporting the adaptation and implementation of national improvement and implementation resources, with a particular focus on:

o The roll out of the Enabling Conversations Toolkit for children and young people, in the CYP sector

o The Time Space Compassion approach, including work to support the implementation of personalised risk management approaches in community and clinical settings.

Build and maintain stakeholder relationships

- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic, community and lived experience partners at both national and local level, holding a portfolio of implementation partnerships.

- Represent the work of Suicide Prevention Scotland in multi-agency partnerships and networks, building trust, setting realistic expectations and delivering reliably.

- Work in close partnership with colleagues across the delivery collective to ensure a coherent, joined-up approach across Outcome 3 and the wider delivery plan.

Lead communications and knowledge sharing

- Develop and deliver engaging, accessible communications that promote learning and support the spread of our resources and projects.

- Use digital channels and networks to share insight and good practice.

- Create content that is trauma-informed, inclusive and practice-focused.

Support evaluation and continuous improvement

- Work with local and national partners to develop and implement proportionate evaluation activity that identifies impact, learning and opportunities for improvement.

- Synthesise and share learning to inform the future development of our resources, including producing clear, accessible written summaries.

Project coordination and management

- Support national and local partners to plan, coordinate and administer implementation activity, maintaining project plans, milestones and risk registers.

- Monitor progress against delivery plan milestones and prepare updates and reports for governance groups.

- Support budget tracking and ensure value for money.

General Duties:

- Act in accordance with Data Protection legislation. Ensure all records, personal, staff and client data are managed in line with Data Management and Information Governance policies.

- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as provisions set out in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

- As with all employees, workers and volunteers; to encourage people to join Change Mental Health as a member, donor or activist.

Key Responsibilities

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and inspirational individual to lead our Patient Support service across Scotland & Northern Ireland. You and your team will reach kidney patients at their point of need and ensure they are supported or signposted to the services that will improve their wellbeing and maximise outcomes in line with the objectives of the service as directed by the Programme Manager/Head of Service.

 Inform the development and implementation of grantmaking plans, ensuring they are
robust and responsive to changing contexts and needs.
o Research compliance and financial regulation for various country contexts as needed and
flag potential areas of risk appropriately and in collaboration with GMO Leadership
o Identify and flag operational challenges that may have an impact on programmatic
grantmaking ambitions, potential donor commitments or grantmaking advisory bodies.
 Coordinate with Programme and Grantmaking Operations to ensure grants and grantee
relationships are managed according to their risk level and operating context.
 Together with Program, Fundraising and Finance teams, coordinate grant
recommendation processes, and timeline for grantmaking portfolios.
▪ Prepare and organise applicant materials and prospective grantee documents for
all grants.
▪ Manage incoming grant proposals and reporting, conduct due diligence in line
with grantmaking policies and best practices.
▪ Communicate with grantees in Arabic and French, serving as a primary contact at
FGHR, to support troubleshooting and accompanying them through partnership.
▪ Monitor and safeguard grantmaking, safety and security contexts within regional
and/or initiative programmes.
▪ Translate grant and Programme materials in alignment with Programme
strategies, portfolio priorities, and compliance requirements,
▪ Lead regular grantmaking check-ins and strategic meetings as needed.
▪ Analyse data and develop grantmaking insights and sessions to inform and shape
grantmaking workflows.
▪ Monitor and track grantmaking budgets and manage budget stakeholders.
▪ Actively contribute to fundraising stages by integrating data-driven insights and
compelling narratives in proposals and evaluation reports.
Database and Systems Administration
• Manage FGHR’s grants management system.
 Maintain accurate grant and grantee records – updating grant, organisation, and contact
records daily, updating budget trackers periodically and ensuring OFAC compliance.
 Generate reports and dashboards for colleagues across departments, as needed.
 Code all grantmaking requests and budgeting information.
 Support enhancements to the grants management system, including the testing and
implementation of back-end developments, to improve user experience, workflow
efficiency, and data integrity.
 Collaborate with Grantmaking Operations colleagues to test new releases and system
updates, identify areas for improvement, and support the resolution of bugs and
technical issues.
 Contribute to the design and creation of the EOI and proposal forms in the grants
management system.
 Support the successful launch of newly implemented workflows and forms by testing
functionality, identifying issues, and assisting with troubleshooting and resolution.
 Support the design and implementation of grantee portals to improve grantee
interactions and reporting.
 Apply systems thinking and user-centred design principles to support operational
innovation and process improvement.
Project Coordination
• Lead on GMO internal projects; brainstorming and implementing workflow solutions to team
endeavours, ensuring cohesive and aligned project reporting and closing.
• Provide support to GMO Leadership
 Support engagement with all project stakeholders, gathering, and integrating feedback to
improve project management processes.
 Proactively identify risks associated with projects, recommending effective solutions to
ensure successful implementation.
 Inform the scheduling and coordination of project activities, including meetings and
deadlines.
 Document project outcomes and adaptations ensuring learning is embedded in
grantmaking operations.

For almost 40 years, The Counselling Centre has been committed to ensuring that everyone can access professional counselling, regardless of their financial circumstances. We are now looking for an exceptional leader to build on this legacy, strengthening our financial sustainability, developing new partnerships and expanding our impact to meet the growing demand for mental health support.

Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Trustees, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership across the organisation. You'll work closely with our dedicated staff, volunteers and trustees to ensure we continue to deliver outstanding counselling, training and community services while identifying opportunities for growth, innovation and long-term sustainability.

This is a varied and rewarding leadership role. You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the charity, lead financial planning and income generation, develop relationships with funders, commissioners, businesses and community partners, and act as an ambassador for The Counselling Centre across the local area. You'll also champion our values, nurture a positive organisational culture and ensure we continue to meet the highest standards of governance and professional practice.

We're looking for someone who brings senior leadership experience, commercial awareness and a genuine commitment to improving mental health. You'll be an excellent relationship builder with experience of developing partnerships, generating income and leading organisational change. About the role:

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work on people experiencing homelessness across London. As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Every relationship you build and every gift you secure will help create real opportunities for our clients to move away from homelessness and towards safety, stability and independence.

You will take the lead in developing and managing meaningful relationships with major donors, creating thoughtful and engaging journeys that bring them closer to our work and the difference it makes day to day. Alongside nurturing existing supporters, you will identify and secure new funding opportunities, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of donors and driving forward this new area of income generation within the team. Working collaboratively across SHP, you will connect philanthropists with our services in a way that feels personal, impactful and rooted in the realities of our work, while contributing to the wider fundraising targets that enable us to keep delivering life changing support.

Hybrid working for us means a mix of in office working in Kings Cross and home working. Currently two days in the office (usually Wednesday and Friday) with the rest from home. 

About you:

• You have experience building relationships with donors, supporters or partners, and know how to turn those relationships into meaningful income or long term support.
• You’re a confident communicator, able to bring a cause to life through conversations and written content that genuinely connects people to impact.
• You’re proactive and driven, comfortable spotting opportunities, growing a pipeline and following through to secure results.
• You’re organised and detail focused, able to manage multiple relationships and keep accurate records using CRM or similar systems.
• You’re motivated by purpose and excited by the chance to help shape and grow a new area of fundraising that directly supports people experiencing homelessness in London.
