Job description

We’re looking for an inspiring Senior Stewardship Executive to

drive the planning, delivery, retention, and growth of proposition,
audience, and campaign activities to support the stewardship of supporters within Relationship Management.

This role will support us with creating and implementing plans to drive long-term engagement, inspire increased action, and maximise lifetime value to support Cancer Research UK's vision of beating cancer sooner.

What will I be doing?

  • Ensure effective delivery of plans and activities across propositions, audiences, and campaigns, tracking milestones and managing dependencies.

  • Own and track project plans, ensuring timely delivery and supporting internal stakeholder teams to deliver against the plans.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of stewardship activities by monitoring engagement metrics and gathering feedback.

  • Develop and execute engagement, communication, cultivation, and stewardship activities to build meaningful relationships and grow income at all stages of the pipeline.

  • Develop insight-led, personalised stewardship plans addressing individual supporter or audience motivations.

  • Identify and implement innovative ways to engage and recognise supporters, developing compelling proposals and impact reports to inspire ongoing support.

  • Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of the stewardship framework

  • Maintain accurate records of operational processes and stewardship activities

What are we looking for?

  • Understanding of the Relationship Management pipeline model and how effective stewardship supports opportunity development throughout the supporter journey, across acquisition, conversion, and retention.

  • Experience in project management with the ability to work to tight deadlines and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload and coordinate complex activities across multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience of building and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Proficient in creating and delivering compelling communications to multiple internal and external audiences with the ability to tailor messages for different supporter segments.

  • Ability to analyse engagement and impact data and use insights to inform operating plans and stewardship approaches

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in delivering high-quality supporter experiences.

  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills with a creative approach to try new ways of working and innovate practices

  • Dedicated team player with a desire to contribute to a supportive environment.
