You'll work as part of one of many teams, which focus on engaging our supporters and ensuring they continue to give their support. You will do this by supporting on high value fundraising events and activities .

The varied role sits within the Volunteer Board Fundraising team which leads income generation through regional and national volunteer boards, volunteer-led fundraising initiatives and delivery of special events through our high value event committees.

These activities play a vital role in maximising sustainable income, engaging senior volunteers, and supporting long -term supporter relationships.

Job purpose

• To contribute towards achieving the team’s objectives by providing event logistics, finance and admin support to the team.

• To support the team in delivering the agreed departmental strategy, goals and fundraising budget.

• To work effectively with other departments in fundraising and other functions within the NSPCC to maximise income for children.Key relationships - Internal

Key relationships - External

• Provides professional customer service to NSPCC supporters and potential supporters, such as event committee members

• Builds relationships with NSPCC supporters and external contacts

• Builds relationships, negotiates and liaises with NSPCC event suppliers.

Main duties and responsibilities

• To support Senior E vent Managers with the development and delivery of their events, by attending committee meetings, carrying out tasks such as securing prizes, recruiting volunteers, managing small suppliers and completing admin tasks to agreed standards and deadlines.

• To support the Senior E vent Managers by building effective relationships with senior volunteers by attending committee meetings, typing up meeting minutes

• To carry out research for the development of events, such as researching new venues and prize partners.

• To draft and produce written correspondence such as letters, impact reports and other documents as required, using word processing, databases and spreadsheets to required standards.

• To undertake and lead specific fundraising projects as required to support the department’s fundraising.

• To organise and co -ordinate logistics for internal and external meetings on behalf of the team.

• To provide financial administrative assistance to budget holders, including processing invoices, placing orders, undertaking financial analysis, cash handling and banking in line with NSPCC policies and procedures.

• To undertake the sourcing and compilation of mailing lists as well as the selection and processing of mailings in an effective, efficient and timely way.

1. Experience of successfully working in a customer focussed environment and confidently liaising both across teams internally and with senior contacts externally to support departmental activities.

The role

About the role

The Head of Income Generation is a new and important leadership role within Stonewall Housing, created to grow and diversify our voluntary income and support the next stage of our development as a nationwide LGBTQ+ housing and homelessness charity.

Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead the development and delivery of ambitious income generation plans, with a particular focus on significantly growing income from corporate giving and partnerships.

You will build on Stonewall Housing’s existing corporate relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across the UK. This will include strategic and commercial partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate donations, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and other opportunities for businesses and their employees to support our work.

About the role

The Academy runs some of the most valued grant schemes and development programmes in UK biomedical and health research. Springboard Awards help researchers establish their independence. Starter Grants keep talented clinicians in research alongside their clinical work. Leadership programmes like FLIER develop people who can work across academia, healthcare and industry to tackle real-world challenges, and alongside these sit opportunities to spend time working in industry, the NHS or government. Moving between sectors should be a normal part of a medical research career (it is not yet), and much of our work is built with that belief: a more connected and mobile workforce is better able to turn discovery into benefit. Between them, these schemes change the course of people's careers, and the research they enable reaches patients across the UK and beyond.

This role leads that portfolio. The heart of the job is excellent delivery: schemes that are well designed and well run, and that make a real difference to the people they reach. You will work closely with the Fellowship, whose expertise and generosity run through the whole portfolio, and you will make sure the schemes serve the whole of the medical sciences community (across the devolved nations and the regions, in industry as much as academia), not just those already inside the most established institutions. What we are looking for

These are the six areas we will explore with candidates. We will want to hear how you have handled a complex negotiation and brought it to a close. The Chief Operating Officer leads the Academy’s income strategy, so we will also explore how you develop partners in concert with colleagues.

3. Range and credibility across the community

This role runs from Fellows (some of the most eminent scientists in the country) to researchers at the very start of their careers, and from government and funders to industry partners. We are looking for someone with the range to work well across all of them, and the credibility to be taken seriously at every level. We will also explore how you have widened access and drawn talent in from beyond the usual places.

4. A focus on impact

A commitment to looking at what difference the portfolio you lead makes. We are looking for someone who treats evaluation as a source of learning and uses what it shows to decide what the Academy should do next, keeping sight of the people and patients the work is for.

The Role

This role involves making initial contact with victims of adolescent and child to parent violence and providing initial support in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

You will provide high quality support to all victims of APV/CPV, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also provide cover for the local VS Helpline.  If further funding became available there may be an opportunity for more hours.

• Identify and assess the risks and needs of APV/CPV victims.

• Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Work within the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

About You

You will need:

• A good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
• A good understanding of APV/CPV and/or domestic abuse including the impact of these on victims.

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Fundraising Officer within Sense International to help grow income and build lasting relationships with supporters. This is a permanent, full time position working on a hybrid basis from our London office.

Working closely with the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will play an important role in delivering fundraising activity across a range of income streams, including trusts and corporate foundations, fundraising events and individual giving.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. From researching new funding opportunities and writing compelling grant applications to managing fundraising campaigns and stewarding donors, you'll make a direct contribution to helping Sense International reach more children and young people around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Trusts and Corporate Fundraising

• Research and identify new trust and corporate funding opportunities.
• Develop compelling funding applications and proposals.
• Build and manage relationships with trusts, foundations and corporate supporters.
• Deliver excellent stewardship to maximise long-term supporter engagement.

Donor Reporting and Stewardship

• Work with programme colleagues to produce high-quality donor reports.
• Monitor fundraising income, KPIs and donor engagement.
• Maintain accurate donor records and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Deliver an excellent donor experience throughout the supporter journey.

Campaigns and Events

• Lead the delivery of our Big Give campaign.
• Coordinate fundraising events, including marathon runners and new community fundraising initiatives.
• Track fundraising income and work closely with finance and supporter care colleagues.

Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, programmes, communications and finance.
• Represent Sense International at networking events and supporter meetings.
• Support wider fundraising activity and organisational priorities where required.

About You

The ideal candidate needs to bring:

• Experience in fundraising, communications or marketing.
• Excellent written communication skills, including producing compelling proposals and reports.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Donorfy or Salesforce.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• An understanding of fundraising regulations and ethical fundraising practice.
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with colleagues and supporters at all levels.
• Empathy for the issues affecting disabled people and a commitment to inclusion.

Desirable

• Experience working within an international NGO or global organisation.
• Understanding of disability inclusion or international development.
• Experience developing fundraising budgets or creating branded fundraising materials.

We are seeking an inspiring and strategic leader who is passionate about delivering lasting impact for people with disabilities and other marginalised communities. As our new Director of Programme Impact, you will shape the strategic direction and development of our programme portfolio, ensuring our partner-led work continues to grow in reach, quality, effectiveness, and impact.
You will bring strong programme leadership, people management expertise, and a commitment to partnership-based approaches that support locally led development. As a member of CBM UK’s Leadership Team (LT), you will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organisation while leading and motivating a committed Programmes Team. You will play a key role in strengthening CBM UK’s contribution to the CBM Global federation, working closely with country teams, technical specialists, and partners to maximise our collective impact.
An experienced leader, you will provide strategic oversight across a diverse portfolio of programmes, partnerships, and funding opportunities. Overseeing an annual budget of around £4million, you will have a strong track record of delivering impactful programme strategies, building and developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an established senior leader who is ready to take the next step into their first Director-level position, as well as those with existing director-level experience.
Forward-thinking and adaptable, you will be excited by the opportunities and challenges facing the international development sector. You will play an instrumental role in exploring the changing role of UK INGOs within the localisation agenda and will work closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to develop new approaches and business models that respond to an evolving global context. Key Responsibilities
Programmes Leadership & Management (70%)
1. Lead the strategic and financial development and oversight of CBM UK’s international programme portfolio, ensuring the organisation delivers its programme strategy with maximum impact and effectiveness in alignment with CBM Global’s strategy. Support and line manage the team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans to ensure excellence in programme funding, development and delivery.
2. Drive quality and effectiveness within CBM UK projects and across CBM Global by
a) ensuring effective coordination of tasks, forward planning of key activities and events, and providing space for collaboration, problem-solving, escalation and innovation across the portfolio.
b) identifying and improving policies and procedures that ensure proportional programmatic oversight and support complex institutional funding management.
c) supporting Programmes staff to work with country teams to pursue a localised approach to programming, drawing on the CBM Global localisation roadmap.
3. Work with Programme Funding colleagues to lead and oversee the development of strategic partnerships and packaging of programme approaches that secure institutional funding for CBM UK’s programmes, including by strengthening intelligence on donor trends and funder priorities, developing immediate responses to new opportunities as they arise in line with CBM UK’s mission.
4. Work closely with CBM UK finance, fundraising, communication teams and other CBM Global Members in creating and responding to opportunities for funding, driving growth, and promoting effective use of CBM UK’s voluntary income to leverage match funding.
5. Together with the Board and LT, actively manage programme risks based on CBMUK’s overall risk management framework.
6. Demonstrate leadership in maintaining an environment free from harm for project participants, CBM UK and partner staff by overseeing the management of safeguarding concerns arising in CBM UK supported projects, including reporting to the Board and Charity Commission where appropriate.
7. Promote within the Programmes Department a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement which only results in an improved programmatic approach but also informs and supports our advocacy, advisory, and evidence and learning work.

8. Liaise closely with CBM UK colleagues to ensure coordination and effective integration of programme activities into opportunities for fundraising, including contributing to the innovation in business models to diversify CBM UK’s funding base, including exploring sustainable funding approaches to enhance programme delivery and reduce dependency on the charitable model (in conjunction with the CEO and Director of Fundraising, Impact and Communications).

Organisational leadership (20%)
1. Contribute to the overall leadership and strategic direction of CBM UK through the Leadership Team, and in collaboration with the CEO, including contributing to Board meetings.
2. As part of the Leadership Team, take shared leadership responsibility for the wider CBM UK team of staff and volunteers, supporting effective collaboration and organisational cohesion, and taking on cross-functional responsibilities where appropriate.
3. Encourage and promote a culture of ambition, learning and excellence across the CBM UK team.
4. Be responsible for producing and initiating regular reports, briefing papers and other relevant programmes information for the CEO and Board Programmes Committee as appropriate.
5. Lead on supporting the Board Programmes Committee, working closely with the Committee Chair to ensure members are provided with the information necessary to permit strategic oversight and robust risk management.
6. Lead UK’s engagement with CBM Global's programmatic leadership, in particular Directors of Programmes in other CBM Member Teams (Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland), CBM Global Secretariat, and Technical Directors, working towards greater alignment, escalation of issues, and collaboration to advance CBM UK’s approach to localisation.

Representation and advocacy (10%)
1. Represent the organisation at the highest levels, including deputising for the CEO where required. Act as a key spokesperson for CBM UK with a range of external audiences, including institutional and statutory donors and strategic partners, media, policy and decision makers and other international and national non-government organisations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key geographic stakeholders, including diplomatic representatives, ensuring effective engagement and alignment with CBM UK’s programme priorities.
2. In alignment with Advocacy and with Advisory colleagues, contribute to best practice in the UK disability and development sector by forging good relationships with UK-based and international NGO and disability sector networks to advocate for the adoption of inclusive development policies and practices, and champion innovative inclusive programmatic approaches.

About the Role:

As Legacy and In-Memory Officer,you willwork as a key part of the Individual Giving and Legacy team,responsible forthe development and implementation of a multi-year Legacy and In-Memory strategy to grow Ty Hafan’s legacy pledger and in memory giving pool.

This is a brand new role focusing on raising awareness about gifts in Wills and in memory giving, both externally to supporters and members of public, and internally to staff and volunteers.

This is a wonderful opportunity to build on an already strong and successful programme; the charity currently receives over £1.5 million each year from legacy income, alongside a strong pipeline of enquirers and pledgers. In-memory giving is also a key area we wish to further develop to maximise new opportunities for sustainable growth and supporter engagement.

Tŷ Hafan operates a hybrid working model, and the post holder will be required to work on site a minimum of 2 days per week.
