About Multibank Scotland
Multibank Scotland tackles poverty and waste by redistributing essential goods to people who need them. We work through a network of charities, community organisations and frontline services to provide families and individuals with items such as clothing, toiletries, bedding, baby products, household goods and other essentials.
We currently operate across Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh, and are expanding into Glasgow. This is an important period of growth for the organisation, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial, practical and relationship-focused person to help us build lasting partnerships and identify new opportunities for impact.
Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.
This is a senior, outward-facing role for someone who can identify opportunities, make clear and compelling asks, build trust quickly and turn ideas into practical partnerships. We are looking for someone who creates momentum and follows opportunities through, rather than someone focused solely on networking or stakeholder management.
The role will lead the day-to-day development pipeline across corporate partnerships, product supply, strategic relationships, expansion opportunities, funding proposals and supporter stewardship.
A central part of the role will be developing partnerships that increase the volume, quality and range of goods available for redistribution. This will include working with businesses, manufacturers, retailers, logistics providers and other organisations to secure donated goods, services, expertise and in-kind support.
The postholder will also help expand Multibank Scotland’s reach. Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Scotland-wide Operations Manager, they will support the development of new partnerships, satellite sites and delivery models across Scotland.
Fundraising will form part of the role, but it is not primarily a traditional fundraising post. The emphasis is on building strategic partnerships that create long-term value, whether through goods, funding, services, expertise, infrastructure or collaboration.
The Chief Executive will continue to lead on overall strategy, major funder relationships, Board reporting, governance, finance and key organisational decisions. The successful candidate will add senior capacity at an important stage of growth, helping to turn external interest and opportunity into delivery and lasting impact.
How to Apply
To apply for the Partnerships & Fundraising Manager role, please submit:
- A current CV, outlining your relevant experience and career history
- A cover letter (maximum two pages), clearly demonstrating how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification and why you are interested in the role Applications close: Sunday 16th August 2026 at 5:00pm

About the role
We're looking for a friendly, proactive Advice Caseworker (Outreach Specialist) to join our high performing Advice Service.
This is a unique role combining student advice and outreach. You'll provide one-to-one advice to students on academic matters, while also developing and delivering engaging outreach activities that help students understand the support available to them.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident communicating with a wide range of audiences, and is passionate about improving the student experience. You'll be equally happy supporting students in appointments as you are delivering workshops, attending events and building relationships across the University.
If you have experience supporting people, excellent communication skills, and enjoy making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Join a supportive, ambitious team and help ensure every Imperial student knows where to turn when they need advice.
What you would be doing
You wil provide confidential, impartial advice and guidance to students on academic regulations and procedures, helping them understand their options and navigate challenging situations. Through appointments, meetings and written correspondence, you will support students in resolving issues while maintaining accurate case records and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Working closely with College departments and external organisations, you will help students access the support they need and contribute to identifying trends and emerging issues affecting the student experience. Your insights will help inform the Union's advocacy work and support positive change across the University.
Alongside your advice responsibilities, you will develop and deliver a programme of outreach activities designed to raise awareness of the Advice Service and wider Union initiatives. This will include promoting the service at Welcome events, delivering presentations, maintaining a visible presence across campuses and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure students can easily access support.
You will also measure the impact of outreach and engagement activities, using data and feedback to continually improve the programme. In addition, you will contribute to training students, colleagues and elected officers, participate in relevant meetings and working groups, and support the Union's strategic commitment to student wellbeing, engagement and empowerment.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual who is excited about supporting students and helping people navigate challenging situations. You will have experience providing advice, guidance or one-to-one support through appointments, meetings, calls or similar settings, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and produce clear written communications, while demonstrating a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
You will also be confident engaging with a wide range of audiences and promoting services through presentations, events or other outreach activities. Experience of encouraging participation, building relationships and delivering impactful engagement initiatives will be valuable, as will an understanding of the issues affecting students and young people. Above all, you will be someone who enjoys working collaboratively and takes a student-centred approach to their work.

We're looking for people who genuinely want to make a difference. You don't need to have worked in money advice before. If you're an excellent communicator, a natural problem solver and enjoy working with people, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. This role is about much more than providing advice. It's about building trusted relationships with people who may be experiencing financial hardship, poor mental or physical health, trauma, disability, homelessness, digital exclusion or other barriers that make accessing traditional services difficult. If you're compassionate, resilient, organised and committed to helping people rebuild their confidence and financial stability, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Purpose:
The Client Liaison Officers are the first point of contact for individuals referred into the Crisis & Resilience Service and play a vital role in ensuring people receive timely, compassionate and person-centred support. Acting as the gateway into the service, you will build trusted relationships from the very first contact, undertaking holistic assessments to understand not only an individual's financial situation but the wider circumstances affecting their wellbeing and resilience.
You will respond quickly to people experiencing financial hardship or crisis, helping to stabilise their immediate situation through income maximisation, welfare benefits advice, crisis planning and practical support. Working closely with partner organisations, you will ensure every client is connected to the right support at the right time through a coordinated 'no wrong door' approach. You will maintain regular contact with clients throughout their journey, preventing disengagement and ensuring individuals feel supported whilst awaiting ongoing casework. Through empathy, knowledge and flexibility you will remove barriers to engagement, helping clients prepare for specialist advice and supporting them to build the confidence and skills needed for long-term financial resilience.
