This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Multiple Disadvantaged Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in Derby City.

The Multiple Disadvantaged outreach Worker will provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse, with additional complex support needs, in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles. The post holder will inform the survivor on the options and support available, empowering the survivor to make decisions and achieve their goals to increase their safety, confidence and independence. The role involves working with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies to advocate on behalf of survivors and promote access to services to meet their needs. The Multiple Disadvantaged Outreach worker will work within Derby City.

About Depaul UK

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. Appalled by the scenes playing out across the capital, a group of people came together to tackle the challenge head on. Led by Cardinal Basil Hume and Mark McGreevy OBE, in 1989 Depaul UK was born.

What began as a single housing project in North London soon expanded across London, Greater Manchester and the North East of England. Today, Depaul UK provides accommodation, prevention and support services to thousands of marginalised young people across the UK each year.

Service Description:

West London Mind deliver services across 5 West London Boroughs, and our children and young people’s team deliver services in communities and in schools. Focusing on increasing access and having inclusive services, our diversity of provision, staff and approaches means we can offer an assistant psychologist a range of experience, and fun.

This role sits within our schools-based offer in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham  which supports young people via our Mental Health Support Teams in both primary and secondary schools, as well as working with parents and school staff.

We also offer Be Kind to Your Mind (BK2YM) which provides a psychoeducation programme (Learn Well) which offers a multi-tiered level of support for children with additional SEND needs.

Job Description. You will be:

1. Dealing with our referrals from schools:

· Liasing with referrers, families and young people to ensure that clients and other organisations are kept up to date with what stage their referral is at (e.g. on a waitlist).

· Overseeing inboxes to ensure quick and appropriate responses.

2. Delivering interventions:

· Delivery of Be Kind to Your Mind SEND/Inclusion interventions across schools, colleges and alternative education, and co-delivering our out of school offer.

· Ad-hoc creation of bespoke content to complement existing materials.

3. Supporting promotion of Children and Young People’s Services:

· Coordination of outreach on universal days/mental health specific days in line with West London Mind’s CYP Youth Services Calendar (across schools in Hammersmith and Fulham and within the local community).

· Co-facilitation of psychoeducational sessions.

· Working closely with the Whole Schools Approach Lead and Co-Production Coordinator to ensure that our offer is relevant and Young Person Centred.

· Attend events to promote our Core CYP Youth Service’s offer (such as the Circle, MHST, BK2YM, Mind in Music and community programmes) to Children & Young People, families and professionals

4. Data, Evaluation and Impact Reporting:

· Assisting in the composition of internal, quarterly and other reporting.

· Support data analysis for routine, service evaluation, research and improvement.

· Completing pre and post-evaluations of intervention delivered to ensure that delivery is effective, reviewed and meeting objectives.

5. Partnership Working and Communication:

· Communicate information effectively with CYPs, relatives and carers where there may be barriers to understanding.

· Work closely with West London Mind staff leading on communications.

6. General:

· Maintain awareness of, and actively follow, our policies -especially related to safeguarding, GDPR and confidentiality.

· Attend all trainings set out by West London Mind.

· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements regarding the welfare of Children and Young People as well as vulnerable adults.

Person Specification

We need you to have:

· An undergraduate Psychology degree (or equivalent) that confers British Psychological Society’s Graduate Basis for Chartered membership (GBC).

We’re looking for someone with:

· Knowledge and understanding of the key socioeconomic and systemic factors that contribute to poor mental health of children, young people and parents/carers from Black, Asian and other Minority groups.

· Understanding the importance of safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.

· Experience of conducting literature reviews, data collection and data analysis.

· Knowledge of mental health and/or social care services

· Experience of working with, and adapting delivery to, children and young people as well as young adults with SEND/Inclusion needs.

You will have:

· Excellent written skills and the ability to distil complex issues in clear language with a wide range of audiences with varying needs.

· Ability to work both productively as part of a team as well autonomously where appropriate.

· A compassionate and inclusive approach to working with children, young people, their families and your colleagues

· An understanding of the specific mental health needs of children and young people who have additional needs (e.g. Neurodiversity/learning disabilities)

· Data literacy and attention to detail – especially in relation to compiling reports.

The Communications Lead will own GFO’s communications across both the organisation and OxFarmToFork, with a clear brief: to grow our reach, amplify the work of our network, and help translate what we do into income and impact. That means building and delivering a coherent annual comms plan, maintaining a consistent presence across our channels, and actively spotting the connections between GFO projects and OxFarmToFork that make for the strongest stories. 

You’ll shape how GFO presents itself externally and make sure our communications work hard for the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing 

Communications Strategy and Planning 

• Develop and own GFO’s annual communications plan, covering both GFO and OxFarmToFork, with clear goals, audiences, channels, and success measures. 

• Advise the CEO and project leads on communications priorities and timing throughout the year. 

• Track and report on communications performance, using data to inform decisions about content, channels, and audience engagement. 

• Ensure comms plans meet funding requirements/deliverables for projects. 

Content and Channel Management 

• Write and publish content across GFO’s digital channels: social media (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), the website, email newsletters, and blogs. 

• Manage the social media presence for both GFO and OxFarmToFork: planning content calendars, writing copy, scheduling posts, and responding to engagement. 

• Monitor and actively work to grow engagement metrics across key platforms, using platform analytics to understand what’s working and adjust accordingly. 

• Maintain and update GFO’s website, including campaign pages, news, and project updates. Basic CMS work; more significant design or development can be contracted out. 

• Write and distribute press releases and support media relations when opportunities arise. 

Project and Campaign Communications 

• Provide communications support for GFO campaigns across their full lifecycle, from initial promotion through to impact reporting – including the Great Big Green Lunch, the Pumpkin Festival, and the WISH initiative. 

• Develop audience-appropriate messaging for OxFarmToFork, aimed at potential producers, institutional buyers, and the wider public. 

• Support the production of funder reports and stakeholder updates by providing communications evidence and impact content. 

• Brief and manage external contractors for specialist design work as needed. 

Network and Stakeholder Communications 

• Support GFO’s member network communications, keeping network members informed, engaged, and connected to GFO’s work. 

• Help develop and maintain a CRM approach to stakeholder communications, ensuring key audiences receive timely and relevant updates. 

• Contribute to event communications, including invitations, programmes, and follow-up content for events such as the Food Summit and Annual Celebration. 

What You’ll Bring 

• Demonstrable experience in a communications role, with responsibility for content creation and channel management. 

• Strong writing skills across different formats and audiences: social media copy, newsletters, web content, and longer-form pieces. 

• A solid understanding of social media platforms and how to grow and sustain audience engagement, including use of platform analytics. 

• The ability to develop and deliver a communications plan, not just execute individual tasks. 

• Confidence with basic website maintenance using a standard CMS (e.g. WordPress or similar). 

• An organised, self-directed working style – comfortable managing a varied workload with limited day-to-day oversight.

About the Role

A key leader within the ambitious and forward-thinking Fundraising & Communications Team at The Connection at St Martin’s, the Head of Supporter Involvement plays a central role in inspiring, growing and stewarding our community of supporters.

This role is all about connection - building meaningful, lasting relationships with individuals and bringing them closer to our vision of ending homelessness. Through creative, insight-led campaigns and engaging supporter journeys, you will help people understand the impact of their support and feel part of a movement for change.

You will lead on two of our flagship acquisition campaigns - our Threads of Remembrance installation, and our mixed media campaign Dying For - shaping compelling narratives and experiences that resonate deeply with supporters and drive engagement and income. Alongside this, you will provide strategic and line management leadership to our Events and Community Fundraising function, ensuring high-quality, inspiring opportunities for supporters to get involved, give, and advocate.

Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications, you will develop and deliver innovative Individual Giving and community engagement campaigns across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on stewardship - ensuring every supporter feels valued, informed, and motivated to continue their journey with us. You will also lead on our work with the Friends of The Connection, our sister charity and membership community, to strengthen supporter engagement and loyalty.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in Individual Giving, ideally with digital expertise, and a passion for creating outstanding supporter experiences. We’ve made substantial progress in recent years, with improvements and expansions to our delivery model and significant growth in our staff team. In Spring 2026, we will launch our refreshed organisational strategy, which will shape our work over the next three years and beyond. To support this growth, we are recruiting for a full time National Director of Operations to lead our delivery across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and emerging community settings, with an ambition to reach Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in scaling our impact and strengthening our presence across the criminal justice system and beyond.

As National Director of Operations, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for our learning programmes in prisons and community settings. You will ensure high‑quality, consistent and accessible delivery, overseeing a team of six Regional Managers and a wider workforce of around 65 staff, volunteers and over 2,000 peer mentors trained each year.

Working closely with senior colleagues, partner organisations and national bodies such as HMPPS, you will drive programme excellence, innovation and partnership working. You will also play a key role in new business development, operational strategy, contractual delivery and ensuring we can reliably demonstrate the impact of our work.

The role requires an experienced operational leader with a deep commitment to improving outcomes for people facing disadvantage. You will bring:

• Experience working with statutory bodies or large public-sector partners (e.g. HMPPS).

This is a home-based role but will require travel around the UK including overnight stays. This role is 5 days per week (35 hours) with working days/hours to be mutually agreed in line with business needs.

The Community Organiser - Youth plays a central role in growing Amnesty UK's nationwide movement of young human rights activists. You will inspire thousands of young people each year through engaging talks, workshops and campaign events, and support them to develop the confidence and skills to become advocates for change.

A core part of the role is supporting and scaling Amnesty Clubs and Youth groups across the UK, alongside recruiting and training a network of volunteers who deliver human rights talks and workshops to engage and inspire young people. You will mentor and organise the Children's Human Rights Network, enabling young leaders to design and run impactful national campaigns on everyday rights issues and resisting authoritarianism. You will also contribute to AIUK's emerging work supporting boys and young men to engage with human rights.

We are looking for two Adult Community Workers to join our team.

This is a deeply relational, hands-on role working alongside LGBTQ+ adults to build community, connection and belonging. You’ll work directly with individuals and groups to support their personal, social and emotional wellbeing, while also ensuring that the voices of those we work with shape and influence the services we provide. Victim Support is seeking a committed and detail-focused Team Leader to help coordinate and maintain excellent support for witnesses within the busy Court environment at Stoke Crown Court and North Staffordshire Justice Centre. About the role

As Digital Content Producer, you’ll create high-quality video, photography and other visuals that tell our story with clarity and power. You’ll have a creative mind and a passion for storytelling, which you’ll use to inspire people and to drive change.

Reporting to the Communications Manager and working alongside another Digital Content Producer, a Communications Executive and a Digital Communications Executive, you’ll bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to our welcoming team. You’ll need to be confident in your technical abilities and good at working with people across different teams, as well as under the pressure of a deadline.

Role specifics

We’re looking for a creative and skilled Digital Content Producer with strong experience in videography, photography and digital content creation, and a portfolio that shows your ability to deliver high-quality work across a range of briefs. You’ll be confident managing projects from concept to delivery, including filming, editing and post-production, and using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop to create engaging, on-brand content. You’ll have a flair for storytelling, with the ability to work sensitively with people to share authentic experiences and turn complex issues into clear, impactful content. With strong design skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, you’ll work collaboratively across teams to produce content that informs, engages and inspires action, helping to strengthen Shelter Scotland’s digital presence.

We work together. You'll be expected to lead the team and work with wider teams, on all and any of our projects and products, sometimes at a moment's notice. The Foundation Partnerships Executive role is a key part of the Foundation Partnerships team, fundraising at the five- and six-figure level. You will be joining a highly collaborative, supportive and successful Foundation Partnerships team.

• A track record in securing philanthropic income from trusts and foundations, or similar, maximising opportunities in working with leadership stakeholders within and external to LSE.

• A high aptitude for complexity, equally able to work with academics in specialised areas as well as to navigate working in a large organisation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
