We are now looking for a Head of Commercial to lead the next stage of our growth.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving commercial income across our social enterprises and developing new revenue streams, including the commercial licensing of our virtual reality training products.

You will oversee a portfolio of social enterprise businesses, supporting project managers to increase sales, improve performance and ensure the businesses are operating effectively. Alongside this, you will identify and develop new commercial opportunities, partnerships and routes to market.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s strategy and helping us achieve our ambition that 60% of our income will come from commercial activity by 2030.

The Operations Manager leads the day-to-day management of the office and administration team, oversees organisational operational and administrative systems, and acts as the key point of contact for all operational matters. We are looking for an extraordinary person to become the Service Coordinator of the friendly teams in our Mental Health Supported Living services which are located across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

The successful Service Coordinator(s) will lead the team in enabling individuals with complex mental health needs to create their own developmental programme with the aim of progressing to further independent living. This will include supporting people to develop the strategies that underpin resilience, to learn the responsibilities of citizenship, to acquire practical living skills and establish themselves within the community of their choice.

You will be a creative and inspirational leader with great listening skills who will empower every individual in your team to be their best self at work. You will have an excellent understanding of person-centred approaches and be committed to proactively promoting the psychological and emotional well-being of those you support.

You will work closely with the 2 Service Managers and Service Coordinator who work in the Mental Health Supported Living division to maintain and develop each service as a high-quality provision for the people we are supporting. You will ensure all services remain compliant with the legislation that governs the sector while demonstrating and evidencing that both services provide excellent support for people.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Taking responsibility for the day to day running of the services which will include planning and managing the rota to ensure that people get the support they need when they need it.
• Guiding the team to co- write and review support and risk management plans, ensuring that the people we support are at the centre of the process.
• Supervising staff, providing regular one to supervisions, organising team meetings, identifying and maximizing opportunities to develop the skills of each individual in the team and ensuring that their training is up to date.
• Participating in referrals and assessments for the service.
• Working within a set budget and monitoring expenditure as appropriate.
• Providing “hands-on” and direct support for the people we support

The successful candidate will:

• Have strong leadership skills, ideally with some management experience.
• Be organised and practical, able to manage your time prioritise work in accordance with the imperatives of the service.
• Be competent in using IT applications, such as rota planning systems, or be able to learn these swiftly.
• Have experience of working in mental health, particularly working with people who have complex mental health needs.
• Be confident in responding to people who are experiencing acute mental illness, in dynamic risk management and developing escalation plans to ensure that people receive the support that they need.
• Have knowledge of mental health systems, processes and best practice with experience of working with trauma informed approaches.

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

We're hiring a Forensic Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team based in Lewisham. New Hope is a 24 hour supported accommodation service for adult males with diagnosis of mental health and convictions. As a Forensic Mental Health Recovery Worker you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. We support our residents in developing coping strategies and building supportive relationships, with a commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and customer service. 

You will support with tenancy matters proactively, providing responsive support and fostering a positive environment where residents feel secure and valued. You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Join us on our mission to empower independence through trauma-informed solutions and dynamic partnerships that keep people out of prison, out of hospital, and off the streets.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Build and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with residents, offering both practical assistance and emotional support.
• Equip residents with the necessary skills, experiences, networks, and training to help them transition into semi‑independent or independent living.
• Provide support with personal needs as required by residents.
• Take part in, and encourage residents to engage in, the delivery and development of projects, initiatives, training opportunities, and volunteering activities.

We launched our new programme in September 2025, initially as a pilot working with families across Wandsworth, with aims to be able to expand and continue beyond this. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will deliver flexible,and therapeutically minded support to families often facing multiple and complex challenges, drawing on your experience to provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues. You will build trusted relationships through home visits, school meetings, and provide practical support—facilitating parents and carers to feel empowered to strengthen routines, manage behaviour, improve attendance, and access services. Your work will be informed by detailed needs assessments and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes with each family.

Adfam is the leading national charity tackling the effects of alcohol, drug use or gambling on family members and friends. We improve life for thousands of people. One way we do this is by empowering families and friends to get the support they need.

We want anyone affected by someone else's drug or alcohol use or gambling problem to have the chance to benefit from healthy relationships, be part of a loving and supportive family and enjoy mental and physical wellbeing.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a successful national remote service, offering support via the phone or Zoom to affected adults in the UK. We are looking to recruit experienced Family Support professionals to provide these virtual support sessions to individual family members and sometimes groups. We are offering a number of roles at 15-20 hours per week, across 3-5 days, including Wednesday and at least 2 evenings per week (Mon-Wed).

Experience in supporting family members affected by someone else’s substance use is essential, as is experience with assessing and managing risk. Ideally, you would also have experience of working to support parents with their parenting and / or those experiencing domestic abuse. We offer fixed hours part time contracts within a friendly and supportive team. Whilst based at home and requiring the ability to work autonomously, Adfam prides ourselves on our supportive team ethos and working culture. 

• Salary: £30,000 pro rata

Job Title: Forensic Mental Health Recovery Worker 

Location: Lewisham. This service does not have step free access

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis Monday to Sunday working including bank holidays and alternative weekends. Shifts can vary between 08:00 - 16:00 and 13:30 - 21:30. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service and resident requirements. 

About the Role

We're hiring a Forensic Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team based in Lewisham. New Hope is a 24 hour supported accommodation service for adult males with diagnosis of mental health and convictions. As a Forensic Mental Health Recovery Worker you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. We support our residents in developing coping strategies and building supportive relationships, with a commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and customer service. 

You will support with tenancy matters proactively, providing responsive support and fostering a positive environment where residents feel secure and valued. You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Build and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with residents, offering both practical assistance and emotional support.
• Equip residents with the necessary skills, experiences, networks, and training to help them transition into semi‑independent or independent living.
• Provide support with personal needs as required by residents.
• Take part in, and encourage residents to engage in, the delivery and development of projects, initiatives, training opportunities, and volunteering activities.
• Manage a caseload of residents, contributing to the creation and review of support plans, risk assessments, and progress reviews.
• Identify residents’ interests, needs, and preferred activities through assessments, observations, and conversations.
• Recognise early indicators of declining mental health and implement suitable interventions to prevent crisis situations.
• Promote financial and economic wellbeing while supporting residents in reintegrating into the community.
• Complete safeguarding referrals and other relevant referrals when required.
• Additional duties may include, but are not limited to: keeping environments clean and organised, disposing of waste, reporting maintenance issues, ordering supplies, and undertaking other general tasks as needed.

What are looking for:

• Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, particularly within mental health
• Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment
• Knowledge of license conditions and public protection
• Knowledge of tenancy management, able to share knowledge with others in the team and residents
• Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs
• The ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others
• Ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes with others; Proactive in making decisions
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

Youth Delivery Mentoring Officer
