This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent administrative skills who enjoys working in a varied role, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our organisation. As part of the role, you will respond to telephone and email enquiries in a professional, friendly manner, enrol trainees onto facilitator training programmes, maintain accurate records using our CRM systems, process orders received through our online shop, generate certificates for newly qualified facilitators and arrange their distribution, prepare and post meeting and training packs, organise and take minutes of meetings, manage diaries, provide accurate administrative support across the organisation, and assist with a range of general administrative duties as required. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in an administrative or team support role, along with experience of providing excellent customer service by telephone and email. You should have experience maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information, as well as using CRM or database systems. IPSEA (Independent Provider of Special Education Advice) is a national charity working to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the educational support they are legally entitled to. Since we were formed in 1983, we have helped to improve the education experience of thousands of children and young people across England. We do this by providing free and independent legal advice and casework support for families, undertaking policy work and delivering training on the SEND legal framework.

We are seeking a Policy Manager to lead IPSEA's policy and influencing work to achieve positive change for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Legal and Training, trustees and colleagues across the organisation, you will set strategic policy priorities and develop evidence-based influencing plans that support IPSEA's mission and long-term objectives.
Drawing on insights from our advice and tribunal services, legal expertise and the experiences of families, you will identify systemic issues within the SEND system and develop policy solutions that improve children and young people's access to the support and education to which they are entitled. You will ensure that IPSEA's policy positions are credible, legally robust and informed by the lived experiences of those we support.
You will lead IPSEA's engagement with government, Parliament and other key decision-makers, identifying opportunities to influence legislation, policy and practice at both national and local level. This includes overseeing responses to consultations, parliamentary inquiries and calls for evidence, as well as preparing briefings and strategic advice to support senior-level engagement and advocacy.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across legal, communications, fundraising and training teams, you will ensure IPSEA's policy, campaigning and public affairs activities are aligned and maximise the organisation's impact. You will also monitor developments across the political, legal and policy landscape, helping IPSEA respond proactively to emerging opportunities and challenges affecting the rights of children and young people with SEND.

Who are we looking for?
You will have significant experience in a senior policy and campaigning/public affairs role and have good knowledge of local and national government structure including the legislative process.
You the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders including MPs, civil servants, campaigners and parents. You exhibit tact and diplomacy and can be impactful with people of varying levels and experience.
Your research and critical thinking skills enable you to analyse policy and data to produce relevant reports and position papers. You have experience of drafting organisation responses to government consultations and parliamentary calls for evidence.

The Acquisition Marketing Manager attracts new UK supporters and generates income for Mary’s Meals’ school meals programme through effective and inspiring marketing across online and offline channels. This is a fast paced and hands on role for someone who loves to collaborate, problem solve and drive growth while keeping focused on our mission to feed hungry children.
The role primarily raises income (but also awareness) through multi-channel marketing activity with a clear focus on maximising ROI and delivering supporter growth at scale. The focus of the role is on online marketing opportunities and includes managing our organic and paid social channels, overseeing social media influencer strategy and identifying emerging digital channels. The Manager works closely with the Mary’s Meals International team and its agency to deliver Google and Bing Paid Search, Google Grant, Display, and YouTube.
The role will also identify and manage the most effective offline marketing opportunities to maximise ROI from small budgets and pro bono opportunities, such as TV, Radio and OOH advertising. The Manager will ensure online and offline marketing opportunities complement each other (and link seamlessly to our retention strategies) as part of an integrated multi-channel marketing strategy.

Role Purpose
To support the engagement and activation of key audiences to take action in support of ending the need for food banks. Responsible for delivering mobilisation opportunities and actions to new and existing supporters and driving meaningful change through action.
This role is part of the Together with Trussell programme, the goal of which is to build stronger connections with our supporters, partners and donors in order to increase funding, campaigning and other forms of support for our work. As a member of an enabling programme, this role is focused on the successful delivery of the Together with Trussell programme outcomes, which underpin and enable the outcomes of our 5 external programmes - together contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Audience engagement and supporter activation
Work with the Senior Audience Mobilisation Manager and Audience Mobilisation Manager to develop and deliver campaigning actions that recruit and inspire new supporters, deepen engagement with existing audiences and build widespread public support for our vision, while collaborating with the Email Marketing Manager and Supporter Data Manager to deliver engaging, insights driven activity aligned to our audience strategy and supporting audience retention.
Platform Management
· Build and manage actions on our external campaigns platform provider, collaborating with the platform provider agency to deliver impactful and engaging digital mobilisation journeys, leading on the system as super user.
Cross team collaboration
· Engage with project teams, audience leads and channel owners to deliver journeys and the content needed within them, as well as actions that engage campaigners through time, money, voice aligning content, messaging and audience touchpoints.
Insight and evaluation
· Using internal and external data systems, collate and deliver monthly reports on audience engagement activity highlighting trends that provide insights to support the development of an impactful, insight led mobilisation strategy and campaigner audience stewardship.
Line management
· Provide direction and support to the campaign engagement volunteer through weekly email briefs and quarterly volunteer check-ins.
