You will bring a strong understanding of Health and Safety within an accommodation-based setting, with the ability to monitor and maintain the safety and security of supported housing services and report maintenance concerns appropriately. You will have experience or awareness of supporting individuals with mental health and complex needs, alongside a solid understanding of recovery-focused approaches. Your background will include delivering high-quality floating, outreach, or accommodation-based support, undertaking person-centred key working, support planning, and risk assessments to promote independence. You will have knowledge of welfare benefits, housing legislation, and issues affecting the client group, including substance misuse, and be confident liaising with external professionals to develop effective support packages.

The Communications Manager provides operational leadership for CLAPA's communications delivery, ensuring communications and marketing activity is effectively planned, prioritised and delivered in support of the charity's strategic objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, the postholder is responsible for translating the communications strategy into coordinated day-to-day delivery. They will oversee the planning, scheduling and operational management of communications activity across the organisation, ensuring work is appropriately prioritised, resources are allocated effectively and projects are delivered to a consistently high standard.
The role directly manages CLAPA's Communications Officers, embedding effective planning, briefing and workflow processes that enable the team to deliver proactive, creative and high-quality communications.
Acting as the primary operational lead for communications delivery, the postholder will ensure colleagues across CLAPA receive responsive, well-planned communications support while maintaining clear priorities and protecting the team's capacity to deliver its best work.

Job Summary
The Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand is a pivotal role, responsible for driving a coherent charity-wide communications approach based on the needs of our audiences. You’ll build and leverage the power of our brand to increase awareness, prompt action, drive income and create deeper and more meaningful connections so that more people affected by bowel cancer can find the support they need, and together we can achieve our vision of a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer, sooner.

As Hestia's Payroll Manager, you will lead the delivery of an accurate, timely, and compliant payroll service for more than 1000 colleagues across the organisation. You will act as Hestia's in‑house payroll specialist, ensuring full compliance with UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and best practice across all statutory payments, deductions, and year‑end processes. You will take ownership of our ResourceLink payroll system, using your technical expertise to configure and maintain pay elements, pension schemes and workflows. You will oversee payroll related system updates, testing, and continuous improvement to ensure the payroll function remains efficient, reliable, and fit for purpose. You will manage and develop the Payroll team, coordinating day‑to‑day operations and ensuring the team delivers a seamless end‑to‑end payroll service.This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation, strong analytical and systems skills, and a commitment to delivering an excellent service to colleagues across Hestia.

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional with a relevant payroll management qualification such as CIPP or equivalent expertise, supported by ongoing professional development and up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation and best practice. You will bring over five years of UK payroll experience, including managing large and complex payrolls with multiple pension schemes, alongside a strong understanding of HMRC requirements, PAYE processes, P11D reporting and end‑of‑year procedures. The role requires solid knowledge of pensions regulations, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex payroll and pension matters clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Zellis ResourceLink, advanced Excel skills such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, and confidence working with large data sets are essential, as is accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
