Boaz Trust relies on the generosity of trusts and foundations to provide accommodation and support for people seeking sanctuary, and to challenge and change the unjust systems that cause destitution, both locally and nationally. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer (Trusts) who can help us sustain and grow this vital income by building positive, long-term relationships with funders, delivering high quality applications and reports as needed.
The money raised through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Our work includes providing safe accommodation and person-centred support, while working towards our mission of ending destitution among people seeking sanctuary.
Day to day, you will research prospective funders, prepare persuasive applications and cases for support, and produce accurate, engaging reports showing what funders’ support has achieved. You will manage a pipeline of applications and reporting deadlines, keep our fundraising database up to date, and work closely with colleagues across Boaz to best communicate the stories, outcomes, and impact from our work. You will communicate directly with existing and potential funders by email, telephone and, where appropriate, in meetings.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building interpersonal relationships with both funders and supporters and team-mates, is skilled at communicating through writing, can turn detailed information into a clear and compelling case for support, and is organised enough to manage several deadlines at once. You will already have experience of trusts fundraising or bid writing. About the Role
The Nightingale Navigator supports the loved ones of male survivors through the Nightingale Project. Recognising that sexual harm can affect partners, family members and others close to a survivor, the role provides therapeutic group and community-based support, alongside psychoeducation about trauma and its wider impact. This includes helping loved ones understand the criminal justice process and working with health, social care and other partner agencies to ensure they receive coordinated support. The Navigator also brings the experiences, needs and wishes of loved ones into the continued development of the Nightingale Project.
About You
You’ll be someone who understands that sexual harm can affect not only survivors, but also their partners, family members and other people close to them. You’ll be comfortable talking about trauma and able to provide compassionate, practical and non-judgmental support through group work, community activities and partnership working. Experience of supporting loved ones, delivering workshops or working within mental health, social care, advocacy or community services would be particularly helpful. The OUT Side OUT Spoken Navigator supports male survivors and survivor allies as they prepare to leave prison or another secure setting and rebuild their lives in the community. The role provides intensive, trauma-informed support shaped around each person’s individual circumstances, including completing risk and needs assessments and developing a tailored support plan. You’ll help people navigate challenges around housing, healthcare, benefits, employment and community connections, working closely with prison, probation, health, social care and other partner agencies. The aim is to reduce barriers; strengthen stability and ensure people continue to feel supported throughout the transition from custody into the community.
About You
You’ll have experience of providing one-to-one support or advocacy to people with complex needs and be comfortable working with trauma, risk and the challenges that can accompany release from custody. Experience within criminal justice, mental health, housing, social care or community services would be particularly helpful, as would an understanding of sexual harms affecting boys and men. Strategic Finance Partner
Salary: £52,380 – £55,789
Location: National / predominantly remote working
MLC Partners is recruiting a Strategic Finance Partner for a large, highly impactful organisation operating nationally across the UK.
This is a strong opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys genuine business partnering rather than traditional month-end-focused finance. You’ll work directly with senior operational leaders, providing financial insight, constructive challenge and commercial support to help them make better decisions and identify financial risks early.
The role is predominantly remote, with a national remit and connection to a regional business unit.
The role:
As Strategic Finance Partner, you’ll manage relationships with a portfolio of Operational and Central Directors, providing targeted financial support where it can have the greatest impact. This includes regular strategic reviews, identifying emerging risks and providing financial challenge ahead of key decisions.
About you:
You’ll already have experience within finance business partnering or management accounting, with a track record of supporting budget holders and reviewing financial performance. You should be comfortable identifying financial risks, understanding the commercial and operational drivers behind the numbers, and working collaboratively across a wider finance function.

Job Overview
· Act as the first point of contact for individuals accessing Ben's services, delivering a professional, compassionate and person-centred experience.
· Identify needs, provide information, advice and guidance, and practical support across a range of wellbeing issues.
· Manage all enquiries, ensuring timely intervention, effective signposting and referrals to internal and external services.
· Identify when urgent/critical intervention is required following SASH or Safeguarding processes.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure individuals receive coordinated and impactful support.
Key responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) that enables individuals to make informed decisions and access appropriate support.
· Conduct thorough, person-centred assessments, identifying risks, vulnerabilities and safeguarding concerns where appropriate.
· Manage enquiries effectively, ensuring support is delivered within agreed service standards and timescales.
· Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records on Ben's CRM system.
· Provide effective referrals and handovers to Case Management, Specialist Services and external partner organisations.
· Refer / signpost individuals where relevant to access welfare benefits, statutory services, financial assistance and community-based resources.
· To keep abreast of changes in legislation of Welfare Benefits and Statutory Provisions.
· Promote safeguarding best practice in line with Ben’s Safeguarding and Suicide and self-harm policies at all times,
· Build and maintain positive relationships with referral partners, external agencies and stakeholders.
· Contribute to service development through sharing feedback, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
· Support the delivery of excellent customer service, ensuring every interaction is professional, empathetic and responsive.
