You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that vulnerable intimidated witnesses receive high-quality, timely, and compassionate support at every stage of the justice process.

About the role

This role is based in Pontypool Police Station, Pontypool, it is offered on a hybrid working basis and there is a requirement for travel throughout the area.

As a Caseworker- Children and Uong People you will be:

• Managing a caseload of Victims of Crime with the highest level of need, both directly, through in-depth, 1:1 support, and indirectly, by working other service providers. Undertaking face to face support, case-tracking and management.
• Carry out effective management of volunteers, assessing their competence to practice using national guidelines
• Promote the work of Victim Support by attending local community and public events

You will need:

• Proven track record of successfully delivering a service and working directly with clients or service users in a statutory, voluntary or Multi-Agency Setting(s)
• Experience of Managing a caseload including complex case management.
• Understanding and knowledge of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of files in accordance with the data Protection Act and other legal requirements
• Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity.
• Experience of managing safeguarding issues and relevant legislation
• Managing, value, providing support and guidance to a team with a strong client service focus
• Ability to promote the work of a multi-agency hub

About the role

As Employment Service Manager, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team of Employment Specialists delivering high‑quality, recovery‑focused employment support across East Kent. Every day, elderly and vulnerable residents across the Arun District rely on Arun Community Transport to get to their doctors, hospitals and social activities. For many of them, our volunteer drivers are more than transport, they are a lifeline.​

We are looking for a Service Manager to take overall operational responsibility for our busy office and the service that makes this possible every morning. This is a hands-on, varied role with genuine community impact. You will oversee our booking and transport management system, ensure vehicles and drivers are safe and compliant, look after our members and their experience of the service, and lead a small, dedicated team of paid staff and volunteers.​

The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in delivering LTSB’s external communications, with a strong focus on content creation, social media and digital engagement.

About the role

The main purpose of this role is to provide quality support to children and young people who are victims and survivors of sexual violence. You will be responsible for completing comprehensive initial needs and risk assessments, developing and delivering personalised safety and support plans for clients, many of whom have additional vulnerabilities and have complex needs.

You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with the Police, statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.

To be successful in this role you will need to be approachable, flexible and caring, demonstrating empathy at all times. You will have had lengthy experience of direct service delivery (casework) with people with complex needs (ideally with children) and will have a good understanding of the impact of sexual violence offences on victims and survivors and of safeguarding issues. You will also have an excellent understanding of and commitment to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity.

IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice. If you do not possess an ISVA accreditation, we will fund this learning as it essential for the role. The role also requires enhanced DBS and police vetting.

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. We combine projects across Shropshire (including Telford & Wrekin) with advocacy and campaigning to restore nature and to engage people. We manage over 40 nature reserves and have almost 50 staff, 300 volunteers, and over 9000 members. SWT is an autonomous charity, but we are increasingly working collectively, as part of The Wildlife Trusts (TWT), to ensure that our local actions have a national impact and help to address global issues.

We currently have an opportunity for a Caseworker to join the multi-crime team in Wales on a part-time basis working 22.5 hours per week. This is a hybrid role with regular travel around Dyfed Powys required.

About the role

As an Caseworker you will:

• deliver excellent services to both adults and children and young people who have been victims of crime through the direct provision of information, practical and emotional help from the point of crime and where appropriate, onwards throughout the criminal justice process.
• help people cope and recover from the effects of crime.
• act as a single point of contact, undertaking effective need and risk assessments.
• coordinate the overall delivery of the cope and recovery plan and recovery journey, working closely with other service providers to meet the needs of victims.

You will need:

• Previous experience delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
• Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families
• To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising work and managing competing demands
• The ability to complete needs and risk assessments
• To demonstrate empathy

The Lived Experience Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Merseyside hub to deliver a programme of lived experience insight activities, with the aim of ensuring that the views and experiences of individuals with lived experience of bad housing or homelessness informs all of Shelter’s work.

We’re looking for someone who can help create meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience to shape and influence Shelter’s work. You’ll plan and deliver a range of involvement activities, support inclusive recruitment and induction processes, and work closely with participants to support their development, wellbeing and pathways into volunteering and employment. You’ll also provide guidance and training to colleagues on involving people with lived experience effectively, promote best practice across the organisation, and ensure involvement activity is well recorded, evaluated and continuously improved. Through your work, you’ll help ensure lived experience remains at the heart of Shelter’s fight for home.

We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual with practical and theoretical experience in dog training and behaviour, with skills in teaching, mentoring and coaching people.
