Health & Wellbeing Lead - Love Barton
Are you a Christian leader passionate about supporting adults to thrive in the face of challenging circumstances?
At Love Barton, our mission is simple: to see people and families in Barton flourish, whatever their circumstances. Together, we're working towards fewer people facing food insecurity and poor mental health, young people with the self-esteem to make good decisions, and parents and carers with the confidence to see their children thrive.

We already run a listening service, a twice-weekly emergency foodbank, and a family food pantry, supporting hundreds of adults and children each year. We're a small, close-knit team, and every person who joins us gets to see the direct impact of their work on real lives in the community.
The role and its impact
As Health & Wellbeing Lead, you'll head up an exciting set of projects on the Barton estate - leading volunteers and managing programmes that meet the health and wellbeing needs of the local community. You'll manage and grow our existing services, and work with the Charity Director to spot new opportunities and support fundraising.

Together, we shape better treatment and care - developing guidelines, sharing knowledge, offering expert advice, leading pioneering research, and creating essential resources and education for professionals. Our collective expertise sets the standard, advocating for excellence at every level—local, national, and global.
Our work is only possible thanks to the generosity of fundraisers, donors, and supporters who share our mission. Every pound raised helps fund our research, provide trusted information for families, and brings together experts to improve treatment, care and outcomes.
The fundraising team at CCLG drives our mission forward by ensuring we have the financial resources to carry out our work, playing a vital role in ensuring we delivery on our strategy and commitments, and ultimately improving outcomes for children and young people with cancer.
