As a Family Support Co-ordinator you will join our team of compassionate, experienced Family Support Co-ordinators, working to build strong relationships with local families facing complex challenges; 

• You will work one-to-one with families to identify their needs, match them to a trained volunteer and regularly review their progress. 

• You will provide on-going support and supervision to skilled, diverse volunteers, and work hard to build and maintain links with referring partners throughout our communities, ensuring holistic support for families. 

• As needs are identified, you will work together with our team of Family Support Co-ordinators to develop and facilitate supportive groups and activities for families. 

Essential requirements:

• Experience of supporting children and families; knowledge and understanding of their needs

• Good interpersonal skills and a positive team player

• Knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to supervise befriending volunteers

• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice

The small yet busy Solution Delivery Team is expanding from six to ten employees, sitting within the IT Department. The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, the Power platform, T-SQL and other technologies as required.

Responsibilities of our Power BI Developer:

As a Power BI Developer you will be working with a number of departments within Cats Protection to understand their data and reporting requirements. You will need to identify any quality issues with their data, as well as work with the departments on how best to resolve historic data issues and improve processes to ensure future data is captured to a high standard. The data will then need to be moved in to our Power BI platform where you will create user friendly and accurate reports to show this data.

Current projects include:

• Supporting existing reports and dashboards for Neutering Finance to track processing times and backlog
• Building a number of reports for our Volunteering teams to track foster home inspections, volunteer availability, and surveys of the volunteers
• Supporting a network of Power BI Champions within the organisation, providing them with data and supporting them in finetuning reports to better inform decision-making

What we’re looking for in our Power BI Developer:

- At least 3 years of experience using Power BI and extracting data from SQL, Excel and SharePoint.

- Experience presenting data in a format that users can understand

- Knowledge of the PowerApps platform

- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and ETL processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create Topical Talk classroom resources for children (60%)

● Research and pitch lesson plans that cover the most important facts, arguments, perspectives and questions

● Write, edit and proofread teaching resources. Your core responsibility will be to create a weekly, 1-hour “Headlines” lesson

● Collaborate with journalists at The Economist to ensure all work is of the highest quality

● Work with our Graphic Designer on the look and feel of the content

● Manage diaries, build rapport and communicate effectively to ensure deadlines are met

● Seek out and conduct interviews with topic experts

● Work with the Head of Content to monitor and evaluate the success of lessons

Design resources for one-off current affairs workshops/events for children (20%)

● Create lesson and website content for the annual Topical Talk Festival, where students join online discussions about the news

Teach lessons, facilitate student discussions and train teachers (20%)

Location: The post holder will have a normal place of work in Hampton Hill, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and will be required to travel throughout the borough to support our other offices and outreach venues.

Citizens Advice Richmond (CAR) is a thriving advice organisation that is part of the national Citizens Advice network. We provide information, advice and casework support to around 5,000 people a year. Our services are delivered by a team of around 17 paid staff and 75 volunteers. About the Service

Our 24 hour specialist refuge service provides support for homeless women facing multiple disadvantage including but not

limited to:

• Substance misuse needs, including those who are pre-contemplative mental health and neurodiversity chaotic lifestyles, including those displaying antisocial
• behaviour.
• History of offending behaviour and criminal justice.
• History of children being removed from their care and/or at risk of further removals.
• Affected by or at risk of sex working.

The team delivers 121 support in the form of weekly keywork sessions working within a psychologically informed framework to create a support plan with residents and build on skills and competencies, this will be a flexible delivery model and provide medium to high support that offers people a personalised pathway away from homelessness,

which builds on their strengths and aspirations for the future.

In addition, the team is responsible for the building management including Health and Safety, the repairs and living environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our Haringey Service. As the Service Manager you will ensure the provision of an excellent service for survivors of abuse, balancing the demands of supporting staff, managing partnerships, and contract compliance.

We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills with a commitment to keep survivors at the centre of service delivery whilst also delivering on service targets. You will have a passion for ending violence against women and girls as well as a thorough understanding of domestic abuse, multiple disadvantage and its impact on survivors.

About the role
This is a new role for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as we look to expand our successful Individual Giving & Lottery programmes.

The post holder will deliver quality fundraising campaigns, including Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and Lottery that will grow income, supporter base and lifetime value. You’ll take a leading role, working with a wide range of stakeholders, in delivering high-quality analysis of existing data, and collecting data from new sources, to evidence our impact - enabling the charity’s Community Directorate to make more data- and evidence-based decisions.

Our Community team leads our work supporting people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers, ensuring that everyone has access to the best care and support from health services and from us. They deliver services to individuals and communities across the four nations including information and support, community development, volunteer support, and local group support.

What you’ll do:  

• Work closely with stakeholders from across the Community Directorate to identify opportunities for data and insights to support their work, and gain a deep understanding of the initiatives delivered and supported across the four nations of the UK and review the use of data and insight.
• Work with colleagues in the Data and Tech teams to design and establish new data capture approaches, ensuring data is of high quality and fit for purpose, and collaborate with Analytics & Insight team colleagues to build intuitive, engaging dashboards that enable stakeholders to self-serve for insights

• Present compelling project outputs and recommendations to internal and external decision makers, using insight to drive positive action for the charity
