Your Role

As Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving income growth and building long-term relationships with corporates, major donors, trusts, and foundations. You will lead with vision and deliver with purpose—developing compelling proposals, cultivating partnerships, and inspiring support for our mission.

You’ll work closely with the Executive Director of Development and a small, passionate team, combining strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. This is your chance to help shape projects from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work.   

Your Responsibilities

Lead and Inspire

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategy to grow income from corporates, trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and major donors.
• Corporate Partnerships: Focus on acquiring new corporate partners to build a strong pipeline and increase income.
• Support Other Fundraising Leads: Assist Trusts and Philanthropy leads in building relationships with funders using research and insight.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and steward partnerships to exceed expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with senior leaders, trustees, and stakeholders to identify and develop strategic fundraising opportunities.
• Networking: Engage with the CEO and trustees to leverage their networks for partnership growth.
• Team Contribution: Actively participate in leadership and departmental management to support the overall fundraising strategy.
• Event Support: Help plan and deliver impactful stewardship and special events.

Manage and Nurture

• Team Management: Line manage key fundraising staff, ensuring they have the support and resources needed.
• Performance Tools: Develop KPIs and pipeline tools for effective budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track performance indicators, identify risks, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Culture Building: Promote creativity, innovation, and high performance within the fundraising team.
• Cross-Team Support: Contribute to broader fundraising and marketing activities as needed.

We’re recruiting a fundraiser and project development manager to build on our creative, award-winning work addressing climate change and fuel poverty in practical, tangible ways. 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our vision of a different energy future: one in which energy is generated renewably and used sustainably whilst leaving no one behind in the journey. We are looking for someone who understands the energy sector and the unique role that a community energy group can play in the energy transition. It is a role for someone who can imagine community solutions to energy sector issues and to translate these into fundable projects. 

Your role will be to work with our board of Directors and staff to come to an understanding of our mission and values and our strategic priorities and develop and resource projects that will enable us to meet those priorities filling gaps in provision. In a practical sense, you will work with stakeholders e.g. our staff, our members, local community groups, local authorities and clients to generate ideas for future projects. The direction of travel should be broadly determined by our recent strategic review.

You will work closely with our CEO and our Board of Directors to prioritise project ideas. You will develop partnerships, refine project ideas, identify sources of funding (Trusts and Grantmakers, Corporate Giving), draft bids and cost delivery on a full cost recovery basis, submit bids and if funding is awarded, mobilise the team to deliver the work. This role provides a big and exciting challenge for someone who knows the energy sector, understands the opportunity of community and grassroots solutions, who brings excellent written communication skills and is willing to learn how to fundraise.

Responsibilities:

Grant Fundraising Support:

• Work with the Selce community (the board, staff, volunteers and other stakeholders) to generate new project ideas that support our strategic mission 
• Research and identify potential grant-making trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies that will fund project proposals
• Prepare high-quality grant applications; this includes calculating budget requirements, formulating proposals, writing proposals
• Manage the grant administration process and maintain accurate records of funding opportunities and applications in the fundraising calendar.

Commissioned Work & Tendering Support:

• Assist in researching and identifying opportunities for commissioned work.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and proposals, including gathering necessary information, budgeting and formatting submissions.
• Provide administrative support for contract negotiation and agreement finalisation.

Community Share Capital

• Draft community share offer brochures and associated documentation
• Support the implementation of strategies to raise community share capital.
• Assist in planning and executing share offer campaigns, including preparing marketing materials and organising investor events.
• Help manage investor communications and data, ensuring compliance with cooperative principles and financial regulations.

Develop and Maintain Relationships

• Assist in building and nurturing relationships with funders, commissioners, and community investors through effective communication.
• Support the organisation’s representation at external events and networking opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

The ability to imagine and innovate and thereby build fundable project-based solutions working in partnership with stakeholders is more important that fundraising experience per se. This post would suit an Energy Policy graduate that has experience of either community energy or journalism (and therefore brings strong writing skills) or environmental projects

Essential:

• Knowledge of the Energy Sector: Understand the energy markets and the energy industry. Also bring a good understanding of community energy, fuel poverty, and energy efficiency
• Strong Writing Skills: Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content for proposals, reports, and communications.
• Research & Analytical Skills: Capable of conducting thorough research 
• Excell Skills: Excellent Excel skills and the ability to calculate project budgets
• Organisational & Administrative Skills: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

This role sits within the Mission and Evangelism Directorate. The role will seek to develop our safeguarding culture and practice. The Safeguarding Lead will work with individuals across all of Church Army including our employees, Commissioned Evangelists, and Mission Community. As a Marketing Executive in the Legacy and In Memory Giving Marketing Team, you'll specialise in the planning and delivery of campaigns, developing supporter engagement and specific onward journeys to encourage emotional connections and future legacy giving. This team supports the RNLI by raising funds through gifts left to our charity in Wills and in memory giving. This is an important time for the RNLI’s Legacy and In Memory fundraising team. With 6 out of 10 lifeboat launches funded by legacies, this will be a key area of focus for the charity going forwards.

Your role

As a Marketing Executive, you will be tasked with focusing on the following areas:

• Supporting Marketing Managers to deliver marketing campaigns, projects, and other fundraising activity.
• Campaign planning, briefing and administration on a range of channels, from print to digital.
• Supporting on campaign delivery and briefing our in-house creative and digital teams.
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, volunteers and agencies.
• Understanding and interpreting data to help inform and develop marketing activities.
• Managing purchase orders and timely goods receipting invoices.

About you

You’ll be an experienced and proactive Marketing Executive able to support the development and delivery of impactful, successful campaigns and fundraising activity across legacy giving.

To be considered for the role of our new Marketing Executive, you will need:

• Experience in planning and managing fundraising/marketing campaigns.
• To be capable of building strong and collaborative working relationships, both within the existing team but also with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. 
• Confidence in understanding campaign performance data and communicating results and optimisations to stakeholders.
• Proven experience of working across multiple projects to tight deadlines.
• To have excellent communication skills (both spoken and written).
• An understanding of legacy fundraising (desirable).

You’ll also work closely with our partner organisations, developing joint marketing plans that effectively promote exclusive and discounted benefits for BVA members.

You'll be bringing a strategic mindset as well as strong practical skills - from writing engaging content, overseeing multimedia production, and optimising email campaigns, to interpreting data in GA4 to improve performance. You should be confident working across various CMS platforms and multiple channels, with an eye for accessible, user-focused design and messaging.

The Roundhouse’s 13-person fundraising team has recently increased its ambitious annual target, largely driven by strong performance from the Trusts and Statutory team. Trusts and statutory funding is a core part of this model. The postholder will also be responsible for Arts Council England reporting.

With programmes closely aligned to youth sector priorities and policy initiatives, this role offers the opportunity to build on solid foundations and contribute to the organisation’s next phase of growth.

As Senior Trusts and Statutory Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage a successful team (Trusts and Statutory Manager and Coordinator), delivering and growing the team’s £600k annual income target
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of trust and statutory prospects by crafting compelling proposals, narratives, and packages of support
• Steward key long-term funder relationships, including Arts Council England, and take responsibility for accurate reporting and statutory funding compliance
• Identify and shape new funding opportunities across a broad portfolio, including youth employability, mental health, creative skills, and inclusion
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Programmes, and Evaluation to ensure projects are designed with purpose, evidence, and impact

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Proven success in securing high five- or six-figure grants from trusts, foundations, or statutory funders
• Strong track record of creatively packaging compelling cases for support that align funder interests with organisational priorities
• Experience managing and growing funder relationships with a strategic and entrepreneurial approach
• Experience managing teams (formal or dotted-line) with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a skilled storyteller capable of crafting persuasive funding proposals and impactful reports
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including board members, funders, and programme leads
• Experience in youth sectors is desirable, as is familiarity with funders such as Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Garfield Weston, and bigger strategic funders
• A strategic thinker with energy, creativity, and autonomy, comfortable working in an environment where innovation and adaptability are essential

This is a key role supporting the Supplier and Fulfilment Manager to ensure our retail operations run smoothly. You will be the link between our suppliers and our retail outlets, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in perfect condition. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Coordinating with suppliers to manage inventory levels and ensure timely deliveries. 
• Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure they meet quality and quantity standards. 
• Resolving any issues related to supplier deliveries and fulfilment processes. 
• Collaborating with the retail team to forecast demand and manage stock levels. 
• Maintaining accurate records of supplier transactions and inventory levels. 

About you

Working arrangements 

Please note this is a part-time position working 14 hours. These can be worked over 2 or 3 days. 

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London or Northampton office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

The Hepatitis C Trust works nationally with peers who use their lived experience to raise awareness, provide training, and improve access to hepatitis C testing and treatment. 

In partnership with the Royal Berkshire & Thames Valley ODN, we’re expanding our work to include a Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) surveillance and early liver disease detection programme in Royal Berkshire & Thames Valley.

• Has experience in health services or working with volunteers. 

• Has been affected by or supported someone with liver disease. 

• Can work independently, engage with stakeholders, and drive community outreach. 

In this role, you will: 

• Promote liver screening and early detection in the community. 

• Support patients through assessment and ongoing care. 

• Coordinate workshops and raise awareness. 

• Collaborate with local hospitals and outreach clinics.

They are our Maternity Mates, peer group supporters for those who have expereinced birth trauma or baby loss, trainee counsellors, language translators and so much more.

As a Senior Employment Advisor, you will sit within the Employment & Careers team, supporting the direct delivery of our employment service by recruiting beneficiaries through outreach and supporting them to secure or progress in employment.

Reporting to Head of Employment & Careers you will be required to manage and support a varied and challenging caseload into employment by providing high quality information and guidance. You will be expected to conduct in-depth and comprehensive initial assessments in order to produce SMART and tailored action plans.

Your role will also require meaningful weekly contact with beneficiaries, conducting regular reviews of agreed actions and setting revised actions where applicable. It is imperative that you are able to demonstrate and encourage a positive mindset among beneficiaries by adopting a strengths based approach to their journey into employment.

As a Senior Employment Advisor, you will be expected to conduct employer engagement activity for the service, as well as support the delivery of job fairs and sector specific workshops. The role will also require you to ensure the service is at capacity levels by establishing and maintaining a network of referral partners and attending outreach events.

You will have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar post supporting disadvantaged groups back to work and/or training and education. You will have experience of working in an evidence-based practice and working to set targets. You will be equipped with influencing and persuasion skills.

You will also be responsible for conducting caseload reviews weekly/monthly and maintaining up to date beneficiary records on our internal systems.
