The person
We are looking for someone who has experience of leading, motivating and supporting staff to deliver high standards of service. You will bring experience from sheltered housing, independent living, care, accommodation-based services or a similar environment, together with a strong understanding of safeguarding, resident support and person-centred working.

The CSP operates a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work between their home and the office. This role will lead on our strategic priority area of Ending State Violence. The campaigner will implement campaign strategy focused on targeted organising to build coalitions and solidarity with marginalised communities, continuing our campaign against the Prevent duty in health, and supporting our Medact Abolitionist Approaches to Health Group. They’ll also work with our established Nuclear Weapons group to promote disarmament and encourage investment in nonviolent responses to conflict. The role involves maintaining and deepening existing partnerships with external organisations, grassroots groups and institutions.

About the role:
In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing our strategic financial capability objectives, which align with our charitable objects and goals. Your responsibilities will include developing partnerships, identifying new markets, expanding our reach, measuring social and commercial impact, and strengthening the organisation’s brand and stakeholder relationships. The role also supports policy, communications, risk management, project delivery and long-term strategic planning in financial capability.

Senior Communications Officer (short term)
Key responsibilities
The post holder will work closely with the Foundation's Head of Marketing and
Communications and other teams and on the following tasks:
Content creation
Plan and create content across digital channels, including for the website, video,
social media and newsletter
Maintain the communications calendar
Work with consultants, partners and women entrepreneurs to develop video
and written case studies.
Website and digital
Produce web content, maintaining good SEO practice
Update and maintain evergreen pages
Draft, edit and publish blogs and news stories
Produce and maintain the (roughly) monthly newsletter
Produce social media content, including graphic and video content
Monitor and manage our social media platforms, including
community/comment management
Supporting other teams
Support other teams with content production, funder relationships and
reporting, including:
o Events support — invitations, promotional materials and briefings
o On-site event support — photography, video and branding
o Design and branding support
Systems maintenance and monitoring
Manage shared mailboxes (website enquiries)
Maintain comms assets, including videos, photos, logos, email signatures and
templates
Maintain Dropbox, Canva and other tools
Maintain consent records
Maintain digital and media monitoring, analytics and reporting.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as agreed with the Head of Marketing and
Communications.

The Fundraising and Communications Officer plays a vital and diverse role in the success of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate and London Youth as a whole. As well as taking on your own specific projects, you will offer support to the wider Fundraising and Communications Directorate across events, different income streams, and communications projects as we work to achieve our targets in excess of £3.6m. You will collaborate with colleagues, funders, and partners and meet youth workers and young people as we look to engage and inspire audiences in support of transformational youth work.
