About the Role
Ready to help young people move forward with confidence? We’re seeking a proactive Progression Coach to support 18–25‑year‑olds at risk of homelessness to secure housing, stabilize finances and engage in work, learning or training. You’ll manage your own caseload, deliver tailored one‑to‑one support in the community, and use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles to build resilience, motivation and independence.
You’ll be confident working autonomously and collaboratively—creating robust risk assessments and outcomes‑focused support plans, recording impact clearly, and partnering with local services, landlords and community organisations to get results. Safeguarding, professionalism and reflective practice will sit at the heart of your work.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting vulnerable young people in fast‑paced environments, who believes in strengths‑based practice and positive change. KEY DELIVERABLES
• You will support all clients to achieve their desired outcomes relating to accommodation, improved financial stability, improved social networks and improved engagement in meaningful activities

• You will ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times including ensuring that Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures are followed and managed appropriately, as laid out in Depaul’s Policy and Procedures

• You will involve clients in the decisions made about them and encourage participation in Depaul’s wider community programme of activities

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. At Single Homeless Project (SHP), our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS) provides safe accommodation and specialist support for adults experiencing multiple disadvantage, including rough sleeping, mental ill-health, substance use, offending, street activity, antisocial behaviour and exclusion from essential services. As Team Manager, you will play a key role in helping the service remain steady, responsive and ambitious for people who may have been let down by systems before.
Working closely with the Service Manager, you will support the day to day leadership of the service, guiding frontline staff, volunteers and peer mentors to deliver support that is trauma-informed, strengths-based and focused on recovery, safety and move on. We are looking for a manager to lead on the relationship with the project funder, to lead a team of two co-ordinators and take ownership of project monitoring, analysis and reporting. You need to bring experience of liaising with senior stakeholders, people management and project management skills, including analysing data, and writing concise and comprehensive reports.
We are expanding our team to allow us to significantly grow and develop one of our key projects, Jericho Works. The project enables us to maximise our impact and take Jericho’s expertise out into the community, engaging with community organisations to reach those who face challenges in finding work and helping them progress in their journey towards employment. Jericho Works offers one-to-one employability support, short-term work tasters and placements, support into progression opportunities including volunteering, training and employment, and employability-focussed hardship and practical support.

What you will be doing:
· Maintaining and developing our relationship with the key funder and their team

Our Eastbourne and Hailsham servicesprovide 24-hour supported housing for young people aged 16–25, offering low to medium levels of housing-related support. Across all three sites, we support residents to develop the skills needed for independent living. Our staff take a trauma-informed and psychologically informed approach, supporting residents to build essential life skills, identify personal goals, and work towards their aspirations so they can move on to independent and fulfilling futures. Our dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers, and Bank Workers provide personalised guidance, practical assistance, and signposting in key areas including housing, budgeting, daily living skills, employment, and healthy relationship building.
We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team at Eastbourne Foyer, with the expectation of working from our other sites in Hailsham when required. You will hold a caseload of residents and carry out regular key work sessions with them each week. Through these sessions, you will work together to develop personalised support plans, track progress, and help residents achieve their goals.
