We’re looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management to oversee the development and delivery of our multi-channel marketing campaign, supported by our media agency.

About the role:
This role is responsible for the development and delivery of our multi-channel media campaign in collaboration with our media agency Zenith, the conception of our creative campaign and management of internal stakeholders to maximise promotional opportunities.
A typical week in this role might involve:
- Overseeing the delivery of project plan tasks across different stakeholders, to make sure everyone is meeting set KPIs and working to deadline
- Managing our relationship with the media agency, monitoring channel performance to make optimisations
- Working with creative agencies to brief and produce assets, using audience insights, that will inspire people to sign up for a Mighty Hike
- Managing expenditure budgets to ensure spend is tracking accurately against different media plans and suppliers
- Using data to report on performance and identify opportunities to drive growth and test new activations
- Leading on meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present the Mighty Hikes and inspire high levels of engagement and support
This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

Sustainable Living Project Manager
Salary: £35,500p.a. FTE

Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Policy and Community Engagement to lead our policy advocacy and community engagement initiatives. This role is crucial in helping our members develop a collective voice, influence policy at both local and national levels, and drive long-lasting, systemic change. The successful candidate will work closely with London-based members and grassroots organisations, convening and facilitating opportunities to develop a unified and impactful voice and advocate for systemic change on key issues such as climate justice and resilience, employment inequality and economic inclusion, particularly in the context of public sector investment and the green economy. The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.
You will be joining us at our busiest time, and will have day to day logistical and administration responsibilities with focus on supporting applicants through the selection stages of our programme, Approach Social Work.

As our name describes, the radical power of God's word has always been central to our approach.
We still do all the great stuff with resources and holidays, but in the last few years, we have sharpened our vision with a renewed focus to help the 95% of young people (primary and secondary school age) across the UK who have never stepped foot inside a church, to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus. Activate is a sport and physical activity-based programme, formed in 2018, seeking to build community through wellbeing that invigorates faith. Activate seeks to release God’s people to join in his mission through sport and physical activity in the areas surrounding Bushy Park. This includes gathering, encouraging and empowering local Christians involved in sports ministry, including expressions of chaplaincy and missional communities centred around sports clubs, centres, educational settings and gyms. In the past Activate has supported sports projects in local schools, an activity-based church service, wellbeing cafe sessions, exercise sessions for the elderly and youth activities. The successful candidate will be involved in re-launching Activate’s mission after a break due to staff changes.
About your team
With this role, you will have the benefit of being part of a national-focused sports team at SU, as well as the south team with a regional focus and the local context with Activate. You’ll work out of the office of St Peter’s Church, West Molesey, benefiting from the support of a local parish-based team including clergy and youth workers. You’ll contribute your expertise in a variety of settings, ranging from urban and suburban to coastal and rural areas across the south. You’ll have a brilliant time getting acquainted with this rich tapestry of local and national partners. Across the south region, we currently work with 130 churches and have 150 faith guides. We’d like to see these numbers grow significantly over the next few years and believe that a vibrant sports ministry can contribute meaningfully to this.

You will co-ordinate, organise and facilitate the successful and safe provision of group services delivered in community venues across the borough: Singing for the Brain, Dementia Cafés and a Peer Support Group.

Background to the role

Job Purpose
By providing high quality governance and administrative support you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. By supporting our Trustees and SMT you will improve our internal accountability and reduce the administrative burden on our senior team; freeing them to focus on organisational development, on building external relationships and pursuing opportunities which align with our strategy.
Key Tasks
Overseeing our Governance & Administration:
- You will organise and service the Trustee Board and Board Committee meetings, including agendas, minute-taking, follow-ups on actions, ensuring compliance with governing documents and charity law.
- Be the key contact for trustees, including overseeing their recruitment, induction and training.
- Better connect our governance and management processes through improving alignment of our Trustee and management reporting cycles and coordinating meetings and the delivery of Exec reports.
- Act as company secretary and ensure the Company House and Charity Commission websites are kept up to date.
Supporting our Executive team:
- Manage the CEO's diary, coordinate and prepare for SMT meetings, and monthly whole team meetings, maintain action logs, and provide proactive support in work planning.
- Lead on liaison with, and reports to, Age UK national. This will include coordinating visits and the collection of data.
- Develop and oversee our internal knowledge sharing systems
- Ensure our intranet is up to date and our new SharePoint file structure is maintained.
General

Additional Requirements
- Ideally, we would like the post holder to attend our evening trustee meetings (four a quarter, two online and two in person). This time will be available to be taken back in lieu. However, for the right candidate we can be flexible about this requirement.
- As Age UK East London works with children and vulnerable adults the post holder will be required to have a satisfactory enhanced DBS certificate. A criminal record will not necessarily, but may be, a bar to obtaining a position with the organisation.
