You will work within the team to prototype new ways of supporting individuals, and contribute to the ongoing development of the team by sharing learning and by listening and responding to feedback from people who use the service
Main Responsibilities:
· You will carry a caseload of clients, working with individuals and their families to plan, support and achieve goals and outcomes that are important to them.
· To Develop trusting working relationships and provide practical and emotional support to individuals accessing the Living Well service.
· To develop and maintain positive professional working relationships and referral pathways to local statutory and community-based services which support adults

Summary
We are currently looking to appoint a Home Academy Liaison Officer (HALO) to oversee educational welfare across the academy.

Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing Educational Welfare across the academy.
- Managing a caseload of ‘at risk’ students, where attendance falls below 85% and implement strategies to improve attendance
- Monitoring and improving the attendance of most vulnerable students
- Ensuring compliance with statutory duties, including reporting persistent and severe absenteeism
- Conducting home visits to engage families and address barriers to school attendance
- Maintaining accurate attendance records and preparing reports
- Representing the academy at external meetings e.g. Social Services Case Conferences, Child in Need Meetings, LAC Reviews
- Communicating effectively with all external agencies including possible alternative providers
- Ensuring effective communication/consultation as appropriate with the parents of students

- Basic knowledge of first aid (e.g. emergency first aid course)
- At least three years’ experience of working in an inner city school or educational establishment in a pastoral capacity
- Experience of dealing successfully with a range of issues influencing poor attendance
- Experience of working with staff to ensure excellent standards of attendance and punctuality
- Experience of working with families
- Experience of working with challenging students and parents, and finding ways in which we can meet their needs more successfully

About SCEC
SCEC was founded over twenty years ago to provide learning enrichment opportunities to primary school children in disadvantaged communities in south London. The Scheme Director is a newly created role that will be pivotal in helping SCEC extend its reach. About the team
The Business Development team (BDT) is the support function that leads, coordinates and supports Shelter business areas working to develop new and existing services to meet Shelter’s strategic goals.

This role will lead on providing advice, inspiration and support for schools looking to develop their school library provision and all the benefits this brings. An expert in school libraries, you will be comfortable supporting members 1:1, delivering training to larger audiences, providing consultancy to schools and sector organisations, writing training and resources, or preparing book recommendations. An exciting opportunity for someone experienced in school libraries with knowledge of the curriculum, teaching and learning and children’s books, you will be the first port of call for library advice and expertise, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the membership network.
You will be experienced in developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels relish a busy role. This will include supporting our Branch network, collaborating on initiatives for development, delivery and new projects as they come online. As resident children’s book expert, you will support with programmes and projects such as the SLA Information Book Award and member book-related events. You will work with your SLA colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality member events and training as well as advocacy events to raise awareness of the importance of school libraries. Using your sector insight, you will identify opportunities for development of initiatives that will support the SLA vision and mission enabling us to reach more children and young people through our work. This is a busy and rewarding role and will suit someone with passion and resilience.

Rehabilitation of Offenders

Online Searches

We’re recruiting for a Process Improvement Lead in our Evidence and Impact team.
In this role you will help make sure that the Evidence and Impact team is working effectively so that we deliver a brilliant service for community organisations, colleagues and external partners.
You will proactively identify improvement opportunities within our UK-wide team. Putting the voice of the users at the forefront of your work, you will help our team fully understand the needs of customers. You will coach and challenge us to continuously improve by assembling multi-discipline groups to undertake root cause analysis, gather user experience and design new processes. The processes you build will support stronger cross-team working, reduce duplication and deliver time savings and efficiencies for colleagues at all levels. They will also help us make better use of established and new technologies to improve how we work.
As an active member of the Evidence and Impact leadership, you will help build a continuous improvement culture across our whole team. Mentoring and supporting others will be a critical part of the role, as you support colleagues to grow their own skills and build experience in continuous improvement.
We’re looking for someone whose enthusiasm and energy can help our team reach new heights. You will bring extensive experience of delivering meaningful long term changes through continuous improvement projects. You will be able to pair this with a solid understanding of methods such as six sigma, kata or vanguard and excel at applying them to a service context.
Finally, you’ll be comfortable working across a complex organisational landscape, ideally with experience of delivering in a UK context, and you will relish taking on process challenges that span multiple departments. You will bring the skills and experience to translate our overall strategy into efficient processes that deliver real benefits for communities and our own team members.

- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Ability to understand and breakdown complex issues and communicate to a variety of stakeholders.
