We’re looking for a kind and compassionate person to join our Family Support team, working directly with families who are facing the unthinkable – the news that their child has cancer or a life-challenging condition.
Primarily based at St George’s, Royal Marsden (transitioning to Evelina, Westminster in 2026), Kingston Hospital and St Peter’s, Chertsey. Travel to other partnered hospitals across London and Surrey as required. Includes at least one monthly meeting at our East Molesey office.
As our Hospital Family Support Worker, you’ll visit children, young people and their families on the wards of our partnered hospitals. You’ll be a consistent, reassuring presence, offering emotional and practical support when it’s most needed – and helping families feel less alone.
You’ll meet families already known to Momentum, as well as take new referrals. You’ll also support families remotely who live further afield or are adjusting to life after treatment.
This role is about being that calm, empathetic and kind person who makes a difference just by showing up. You’ll be a trusted part of hospital life, and a key link between the families, Momentum, and the wider healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Offer emotional and practical support to families, being a warm and reliable presence during their hospital stay.
· Build trusting, non-judgemental relationships with parents, carers, children and young people.
· Meet families in hospital, explain our support services, and complete referral forms for further help.
· Work closely with hospital professionals, attending multi-disciplinary meetings, deliver training on Momentum’s service and sharing relevant updates with the wider Momentum team.
· Keep accurate records of your work, including family interactions and safeguarding concerns.
· Understand and follow all safeguarding, child protection, and lone working policies.
· Report any safeguarding concerns in line with our policies and procedures.
· Support Momentum’s fundraising and communications by sharing family stories (with consent) and identifying case studies.
· Ensure all actions reflect Momentum’s values and vision – that no family with a seriously ill child should have to cope alone.
· Comply with hospital policies around dress code, infection control, and health and safety.
· Attend team meetings in-person and online across London and Surrey.
· Complete training requirements relevant to your role.
· Carry out other reasonable duties to support the delivery of Momentum’s work.

Programme Officer for Europe & Eurasia
About the role:
The Programme Officer will provide programmatic support to a portfolio of Internews Europe’s projects in the Europe & Eurasia (E&E) Region. The role will be part of Internews’ Regional E&E Team and report to the UK-based Regional Programme Manager. The role will support the project teams in the E&E region as they conduct their project activities and ensure effective programme implementation, particularly related to project reporting, work planning, and monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL).
The role will coordinate with diverse international donors to contribute to development opportunities that support E&E media and journalists to safely provide good-quality information. The role supports the design and development of innovative programmes and serves as the point of contact for E&E projects within Internews Europe and for some project donors. The role may also be asked to represent Internews at partner and donor meetings. The role will also contribute to Internews’ knowledge management and improvement of Internews systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the project teams across all programmatic and operational aspects of European-funded grant programmes to implement high-quality projects on time, according to the budget, and to the highest technical standards, and in a way that positions projects within a broader regional or thematic portfolio and contributes to organisational impact
- Monitor progress towards project deliverables and provide guidance to project teams
- Support project openings/start-ups and closeouts
- Advise on project team composition and support with hiring key project personnel
- Guide the project teams on rules and requirements of European donors and Internews’ internal policies and procedures
- Work closely with the E&E Business team on business aspects of project delivery, including budget management and financial tracking
- Review and revise donor narrative reports, workplans, and MERL plans to ensure their high quality
- Review and provide feedback on relevant programmatic and monitoring aspects, including MERL reporting, external project evaluation, and other research and studies
- Solicit, draft, and edit success stories, briefers, and other communications materials for E&E projects in coordination with project teams
- Contribute to or draft scopes of work, programme descriptions, etc. for subgrants or contracts as needed
- Coordinate and contribute to various aspects of proposal development, including research, writing, and editing
- Provide input and support for organisation-wide initiatives as needed
- Travel within the E&E region as necessary
- Represent Internews in official meetings as necessary
- Other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- University degree in a related field;
- Familiarity with the E&E region and/or media-related issues
- Native-level fluency in written and spoken English, with superb writing and text-editing skills. Proven ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and precision
- Excellent research and analytical skills and relevant experience
- Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and do any task required to get the job done
- Self-starter and dynamic with a strong level of self-awareness. Assertive, with the ability to work on own initiative with little supervision
- Strong teamwork experience and proven track record of a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including diplomacy, tact, and the ability to negotiate
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office programmes
- Ability to travel internationally.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Russian (written and spoken) and/or other languages spoken in the E&E region is an asset, but not required
- Solid understanding of and/or interest in media development and other civil society development issues in the E&E region

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse.
Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

About the Role
You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential.
About You
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.
In addition to case management you will be required to undertake housing management responsibilities including health and safety and maintenance of the refuges. You will have excellent administrative and time management skills.

About the role
- Lead on establishing and maintaining a ‘single source of the truth’ on arthritis and musculoskeletal statistics and data within the charity and beyond. This includes our annual State of MSK Health statistics report and other statistics publications.
- Support on the development and delivery of a pipeline of insightful MSK and health data analysis and quantitative research, to better understand the UK population with arthritis and MSK conditions and to inform the direction of Versus Arthritis’ ambitions, strategy, policy and services work.
- Work with others, particularly colleagues in UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence, to influence improved quality, extent and use of musculoskeletal health data by statutory bodies across the four UK nations, including Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), National Health Service (NHS), Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), nationally and locally to improve musculoskeletal health nationally.

About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of epidemiological research methods including experience of using multiple sets of health-related data and information systems, and large-scale data sets for policy, quality improvement or research purposes.
- Ability to interpret, present and communicate complex data in accessible lay terms, including producing data-rich reports for a range of technical and generalist audiences.
- Ability to analyse complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources.

About the role
This is a great chance to be a part of a service working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield to identify and support women who are identified as being neurodiverse or presenting with symptoms of neurodiversity and will be returning to the community. The Neurodiversity Lead will focus support on women with a neurodivergent need and improve their transition into the community, with ongoing community support; including collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop their support plans.
The Lead will work in a multi-disciplinary way, including attending the weekly complex case meeting and/or the Safety Intervention Meeting (SIM) as appropriate, they will act as a specialist member of the wider Advance Criminal Justice Service - London team, to facilitate a pathway for women with complex needs including mental health and neurodiversity needs. The Neurodiversity Lead will accept referrals from the Advance Criminal Justice Community team and prison services, and will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. They will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling to support them to address their needs and any risks. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women.

About You
To be successful as the Neurodiversity Lead you will need the below experience and skills:
An excellent understanding of mental health, neurodiversity needs violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.

What you’ll be doing
The post holder will help advance Ukie’s policy work on aspects of UK and international policy impacting the games and interactive entertainment industry through:

Monitoring policy changes and providing in-depth analysis, research, and reports for internal stakeholders.

Relationship building and engagement with Ukie members and wider sector stakeholders, including attendance at internal and external stakeholder meetings and coalition industry groups.

What the job involves
We’re looking for an Awareness, Engagement and Participation Senior Officer to join our Health Services, Equity and Improvement directorate.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our work to raise awareness and build stronger connections with those most at risk of prostate cancer. You’ll support our community engagement and participation efforts, making sure the voices of men affected by prostate cancer, and those at risk, shape what we do and how we do it. A big part of the role involves working directly with individuals and communities, helping them feel empowered and supported to get involved and make a real impact.
You’ll be the main point of contact for involving patients in projects, manage the day-to-day running of our Patient Advisory Group, and oversee our community inbox to make sure requests are responded to quickly and effectively and help to triage support requests.
Working with volunteers is another key part of the role. You’ll recruit and guide volunteers raising awareness in their communities, helping to deliver onboarding, training and ongoing support. You’ll work closely with our Volunteer Experience team to ensure everyone has a positive and meaningful experience.
You’ll regularly attend community events and find impactful ways to share our messages – particularly with communities affected by health inequalities. You’ll also help measure and evaluate the impact of our awareness and engagement work.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to other staff members
· IT literate
